I recently had the pleasure of spending a few days at Loola Resort, Bintan. The trip was a family affair, with seven of us enjoying the natural and authentic setting of the resort. We stayed in a charming 4-bedroom wooden villa [Sabine Villa], which we absolutely loved. The villa was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly blended with the natural surroundings. The settings were clean and rustic, and the food was simple yet delicious, made with natural ingredients. There was an option to stay at a 5-star neighbouring resort, The Residence, but we really preferred this! The resort offered a variety of activities that kept us entertained throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed boom-netting and kayaking, which were both exhilarating and fun. Additionally, my wife and two daughters in laws enjoyed really good [and fairly priced] Balinese massages in our villa. We had the opportunity to visit a local family, where we donated a Nazava water filter and had a sumptuous lunch with fresh asam pedas and ayam goreng. It was heartwarming to learn about Loola’s family welfare projects and see the positive impact of contributions from their corporate sponsors and well-wishers.We learned about the various efforts aimed at improving the living conditions of local families. Upon inquiry, I learned that each needy household requires approximately $2000 for the following improvements: • Paint (+ plaster if needed) the whole house, • Completely new washroom and upgrade ceramic tiles for the toilet, safe water garden to manage sewage waste, • Water tower & pump to store drinking water from the well, kitchen sink, Nazava filter Our host, Harry, was fantastic. He checked in on us several times in a day and ensured we had everything we needed. For planned activities, he was he one leading and kept everyone safe. As a farewell, he ensured we had snacks to eat in our return ferry. He really added a very nice personal to our holiday.

We had a relaxing yet super fun trip with LooLa last weekend. We never thought we could do so much activity during the 3d2n stay - as we checked out quite early (~8am) on the last day (we checked in fairly late too ~5pm). Isabelle (the owner) connected me promptly when we first have booking issue. She patiently answered my questions and nicely suggested activities to cater to our stay. Our trainner during the stay, Nor, is very friendly and kind! After we feedback the food portion is not enough, they generously take care of our request to make sure we are well fed during the stay. We had so many activities - my favourite is definitely the coconut tree climbing!! Lots of facilities in the resort - it's a great place for a family trip. Its during Hari raya holiday and they are short of crew for some of the activity, but still we enjoyed it! The chalet doesn't come with aircon, but at night, it's so breezy and cooling. Room conditions could be improved, as the shower room floor tiles are cracked (could be dangerous if someone kick on it). Oh, do bring your own hair dryer cause they don't have one, and lots of mosquito repellent to fight the mozzie and bugs! My husband thinks the food variety could be better or perhaps they could share the food menu on the day. Overall, it's a lovely stay.

The staff were amazing and did everything they could to make our stay fun and enjoyable. We loved that all the meals were planned and prepared for us, which took the fuss out of us having to plan ahead for meals. The villa we stayed in was exactly as we expected from photos. The activities available were fun and enjoyed by the family, both young and old; we participated in activities such as boat and boom net, firefly tour, kayaking, skywalk, flying fox, marine walk and rock climbing.

It was a fair distance to travel from the ferry terminal (roughly an hour from BBT) but otherwise everything was perfect for our family!

My three children (7,5,5) and I had an incredible stay at Loola. Isabelle, Dayat, and the team were exceptional in making sure we had a full schedule of activities including kayaking, skywalking, raft making, rock climbing, zip-lining, pizza making, and cultural cooking. I saw my children face challenges and grow in confidence through these activities. The meals were lovely and child-friendly, and the facilities were perfect for an adventure holiday. I cannot recommend Loola enough for families with young children!

Coming home! We can't wait to come back!

Absolutely wonderful stay at Loola for my family (2A and 2C 6yo and 10yo) Huge thanks to Azur and Conty for taking great care of us and organizing all the activities. we did so many activities including flying fox, coconut tree climbing, rock climbing, kayaking and marine walk where the boys gotta to learn about all the marine creatures in close proximity. its a great rustic back to nature stay- no tv, no wifi, no games- just lotsa outdoor fun all day and plenty of space to run around. the food is great too. awesome stay and def one that we will rem for a long time

Exceptionally good staffs, very good food. its real adventure resort for kids with Canoeing, Rock climbing, flying fox, coconut tree climbing, fall from boat in the sea with net protection, volleyball, football. kids were fully enjoying all outdoor activities. They managed to survive days without TV & WIFI. Surrounded by tress so expect small insects.

We loved the playing area for the kids, the sea (and sleeping above it) and the activities but above all the fantastic and warm staff!

A small (sweetwater) swimming pool would have been an extra but with the very accessible sea next to us no real issue

The entire weekend was excellently managed. The staff were extremely helpful and eager to accommodate all our requests. The food was also great.

Very helpful staff, and the fact that the place shows evidence of genuine care for the environment.

No complaints about the resort itself.
