Certainly the location is fantastic, and the beach access immediate, but the true highlight of this trip was the host Denis, himself. A classically trained artist and genuine soul, he made our visit simply outstanding. I've stayed all over France for more than two decades and he certainly ranks in my top 5 hosts of all time.

The sheets had a very strong detergent fragrance which was tough for me as I have fragrance allergies. But my friend who doesn't have such allergies thought they smelled nice.

Denis is an incredible caring person. His home is just lovely. It is the perfect place for a getaway and relaxation . He made us feel so welcome and comfortable there. We could’ve listened to Denis all day talk but there is so much to do and see in that area . Breakfast was wonderful. He is very accommodating on that and his rooms were very spacious. I would recommend it to anybody wanting to go to the area. It is walking distance into town. We have a larger car and parking out. Front was very easy.

Denis was an amazing host! He was so interesting and made our stay so enjoyable. I have to follow a gluten free diet and Denis had his baker make me a fresh gluten free loaf of bread for each day of my stay. It was delicious! The property is beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the bath tub was huge! We stayed in the pearl suite. It had a beautiful view of the ocean and we fell asleep each night listening to the waves. We really did not want to leave.

Incredible experience at Les 4 Vents! This French farmhouse is situated perfectly on the cliffs near Point du Hoc. Our host, Dennis, was lovely -- explained the history of his property during the War, and his love of Normandy. The breakfast was wonderful - fresh bagettes, croissants -- and local jam, butter and jus du Pommes. Absolute perfection. I wish we could've stayed a week at this incredible location... by FAR our favorite spot during our 12 day vacation in France. Thank you Dennis for the excellent recommendations for visiting the D-Day beaches. We can't wait to return with more members of our family.

Everything about this experience was absolutely outstanding. Denis is a wonderful and thoughtful host and made our trip truly special. The accommodations were perfect, plenty of hot water in the shower, breakfast was delicious, but most importantly we simply felt at home and welcome in his building.

There is nothing we would have done differently or asked of Denis.

The bedroom view of the Chanel beaches and gardens was one of the richest we’ve ever experienced. The property was within walking distance of everything in the village. The coastal bike path offered foot access to the the cliffs to the east with back-door access to La Pointe du Hoc. Host Denis is charming helpful and very entertaining, we enjoyed our après breakfast discussions regarding the local and regional state of affairs thoroughly. Hope to return.

Unbelievable place. Beatiful in every single aspect. From the fine decoration to the view of the room looking to the beach, staying here was a wonderful surprise, and made me wish I could have stayed longer. The breakfast was superb, the beds super comfortable. The owner is very careful with the details. He suggested the place to eat, showed us our rooms, and made us feel very at ease. The bathroom is incredibly beautiful, something I only see in magazines. Staying here was a highlight in our trip.

The unique atmosphere…it is a magic place. You are surrounded by art, and nature around it is simply poetry. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and with a cute window facing the sea. You will be surprised by how much this place is astonishing at both night and day. I would come back, if I only could, every day of my life. Definitely recommended.

Breakfast was awesome! And the view of the Channel superior. Denis, the owner and host was charming and madeus feel right at home.

I would have liked a little more light in the bedroom. But I know the French are good about conserving their energy so I wasn't surprised. Everything else just fine.

We loved everything about this stay! Denis was a lovely host. The house was gorgeous and very close to town. He did an excellent job of communicating with us in advance to make sure we had a dinner reservation. The rooms were immaculate and quite large. Denis hosted a wonderful breakfast. It was delicious and he was excellent company. We were traveling with a family of five and I could not have been more pleased with the visit!
