The setting of this place is absolutely breathtaking, offering stunning scenery that captivates you from the moment you arrive. The staff here are exceptional - friendly, attentive, and always going the extra mile to ensure a memorable experience. Service is prompt and efficient, contributing to the overall lively and welcoming atmosphere that pervades the place. A special mention must go to the SPA - it was a rejuvenating experience. The full body massage I received was expertly done, leaving me feeling thoroughly refreshed and relaxed

Beautiful location, with a lot of nature to look at. Wide array of teas and coffees and biscuits provided. Large room and bathroom. Food provided was excellent and the hotel staff were great. The lady Dipua at the spa was excellent as well.

Insects in the room, such as mosquitos. Aircon was leaky. No bug killer spray or bathroom air freshener was provided in the room.

Great location. Room was large and comfortable, as was the bathroom. Excellent view from the room. Food was excellent and staff was friendly. It is lovely to be in a place where you can see the city but be removed from the hustle and bustle and experience peace and quiet.

The bed, although large, wasn't all that comfortable. The curtains didn't close properly, something one would not expect to find at a 5 star establishment. Housekeeping is obviously not their highest priority - we found an opened bottle of water in the fridge and had to ask for tea - there was one measly tea bag in the room. The food and drink, although excellent, is quite expensive - and the price listed on the digital menu isn't necessarily what you are charged, something that I really see as a black mark. Although the staff at reception and the waiters wore their masks, the same can't be said for the rest of the staff - yes, it is uncomfortable, but in SA you are still required to wear a mask indoors.

the heavy bedding. Excellent accommodation needs to offer heavy & light bedding for seasonal variation. To offer only heavy duvet in spring /summer in SAfrica is frustrating, when we paid significant $ An easy solution is to have a nice cotton blanket in closet as an option for those of us who like to sleep with light covering

The hotel is charming with a lot of attention to detail. The lounges and gardens are really pleasant, no idea that you are in a city. Location is very safe and quiet. Rooms are really big, spacious, bright and airy. The place is exceptionally clean. Food and service were great, friendly staff. Outside sitting areas were private, comfortable, lots of nature and art. Enjoyed the ice-cream shop! Would love to stay here again.

1): When I got there my room was not ready, and I called an hour before advising that I am on my way. I had to wait in the restaurant while they are preparing. 2): The toilet floor was not very clean; I believe it could've mopped and swept. Hygiene's 3) I ordered the Platter for R700, On the catalogue it says it comes with Biscuits and Chocolates, there was not included I only got fruit platter, R200 roses & Sherry for R700. Not acceptable heh, please make sure it doesn't happen to any your clients.

The service is excellent and all the star give five star treatment. They are friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating. Special mention goes out to Didi, William and Porcia whom I dealt with a lot.

There was no coffee in my room. No coffee sachets or pods and yet there was plenty of tea. For a coffee lover this was rather disappointing as I had to call reception to arrange coffee for me. Nonetheless this was sorted eventually.

There was just a bit of noise in my room from the restaurant. This did not bother me, but it is a warning for guests who sleep lightly. This is not a serious complaint, without this complaint it would be 10/10.

Price is quite high now, room upgrades have made the rooms lose their country barn style looks. Lots of Hair in the shower drain, a bit disgusting.

WIFI was not reliable and kept dropping so it was difficult to do my work from my room.
