Quiet, well-kept location with a beautiful garden and pool. Wholesome breakfast. Quick laundry service. Comfortable room, with all necessary equipment and toiletries. The offer for a homemade dinner is new. My daughter and I ate just once and it was delicious. Thank you Tercia! The staff are absolutely friendly and reliable. This is my second stay for a period of two weeks, and it doesn’t disappoint.

Peaceful, Tranquility in the middle of a busy area is hard to find. Thats exactly what this place represents. Nice clean area with friendly stuff, coupled a Caring & Hands on Owner. Breakfast was Super- Near great Facilities Like Monte Casino(Fun). CRC(Church) what else can one ask for? Will definitely consider it every time I do shot left around the area. I managed to get answers directly from the owner about some of the Questions I Had.

Love how the guesthouse is tucked away from the traffic of the area it is situated in. The minute you drive in, it makes you feel like you are going on a country retreat. I loved the surroundings, being able to take a walk around the property and breathe fresh air. The rooms clean and are very spacious and loved how accommodating the guesthouse is, spent the night with 2 of my friends and they put an extra single bed in the room. The host, Elizabeth, had a warm welcoming spirit - showed us around and made us feel welcomed.

We checked in quite late and expressed to the host that we will want to have breakfast at 09:00. One of the staff ladies who works in the kitchen was quite dismissive towards us, almost reluctant to make us breakfast as she kept emphasizing that breakfast is from 06:00 - 09:00 and that we came late so everything is packed up. We had to reason with her, which honestly felt quite unfair. Nonetheless, she softened up and agreed to make us breakfast which was delicious. Also, the water pressure of the shower is quite low.

Private accommodation with gardens and pool. Lovely communal lounge area with lots of books to choose from. Staff offered great levels of support regarding advice about getting around. Biscuits and cakes were amazingly good.

It would have been nice if staff had been around when we departed on our last day. Their absence made it feel like a motel (which it certainly isn’t).

Breakfast was good. Chef Tershia made delicious dinners and must be commended for waiting for us when we arrived home late from work. We loved the beautiful, large garden and enjoyed the bird life. -definitely a tranquil oasis in a built up suburb.

We would have preferred a softer, more comfortable mattress.

This property has the most beautiful garden, so tranquil and relaxing.The room was spacious and luxurious, shower was nice and big.Our room had a balcony and this was so relaxing to sit outside and just admire all the bird species in the garden, just amaizing.This do feel like your home away from home, and all the other guests were friendly and we all had lovely chats at breakfast outside with this view just captivating.Already booked our next stay.

The rooms were very spacious and luxurious. It's really clean and neat and the bathrooms are very big compared to bigger hotel chains. It's really tucked away in nature and makes it feel like you are far away from everything and it's only a 30 minute drive from the south of Joburg. The breakfast menu is different then the conventional Irish English options you normally get but it's really tasty and very good and filling

The remotes of both the TV and dstv werent working but they did sort that out which took some time. There's no room service options for food and you have to order out for lunch and dinners

I loved everything..The moment I stepped in, I felt like I was home. The warm and cozy atmosphere, the tasteful decor, and the spotless cleanliness all impressed me. The host was exceptional - friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and the attention to detail was impressive.

The hostess was very friendly and helpful. The room was super spacious and private and the property feels like an oasis in the middle of joburg. We enjoyed how peaceful it was and the breakfast was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. They were also very accommodating with our arrival time as we had to check in earlier.

This is a gem of a property. Everything about this property, every single aspect is OUTSTANDING. I will never stay at another property while in Johannesburg area. I have already moved all my project/production accomodations for my company for the year to Amberhall.
