It was a lovely hotel. The staff were amazing The first night I noticed my sheets were damp. I started to cough and was very cold all night. The next day I noticed my sheets were changed and when I sat on the bed my back became soaking wet. I noticed the sheets had been changed and were so wet I could wring the water out. My whole bed was wet. I called the housekeeper and they apologised and changed my sheets they gave me dry ones. We always stay at this beautiful hotel. And my family always stay here. We love the spa and casino. Because I was there only two nights and became very sick from the wet sheets. I won’t ever stay there again. It was embarrassing to complain but I could not sleep in soaking wet sheets. The chamber maid apologised to me. But I ask myself. Why did she put wet sheets on my bed first the second night in a row. Very disappointing.

My very wet bed sheets for the two nights. And that I had to call the housekeeper to get them changed. And I got very sick from sleeping the first night in wet sheets. The second night the sheets were changed and much wetter ones were put into my bed. Very disappointing

We are non smokers and only smoking rooms were available at time of booking - The reception actually went to check which room was least impacted prior to allocating the room. This is above and beyond and extremely appreciated. Occupied a room which had no smell/odour of smoking. Well done to the checkin team. Baggage was well managed and efficient and very friendly staff in this regard. Otherwise room more than adequate and comfortable for the stay, with a really enjoyable breakfast the next morning.

The plugs around the bed do not cater for Cellular or other charging devices. Had to obtain two prong adapters. Two prong (shaver plug) at the dressing table was also faulty. These are small items, yet important to todays traveller.

The property is located in my favorite area - Monte Casino. The hotel is beautiful with very friendly and helpful staff from the security & concierge to the front desk who helped me arrange for my sister to come over

I was slightly disappointed by the variety of food available for breakfast and not having fresh fruit juices….. might sound trivial, but if I have a good breakfast, I don’t need to eat until dinner.

We like that this hotel is central to Johannesburg, has highways and has excellent restaurants. The staff that remained from the previous Hotel are like family, and it is always nice to see them again. They recognize us and greet us with our names and surnames.

Breakfast is bland and not what we are accustomed to. The outside of the Hotel needs an urgent facelift or a bit of paint.

Liked the Gentleman S'fiso who welcomed me at night. He was very helplful and has exceptional customer service. The Hotel is beautiful and will come back for more stays. Peaceful and Tranquil The Gentleman who helped me with a small car to Montecasion Thabo, he made my stay a pleasant one and so kind The Gentleman called Nkululeko also was my best highlight that one is hard worker. Made my journey one to write home about Pivot. The food was amazing. All workers at the reception during checkout were brilliant Gym was mine alone lol, It felt like home

No gown in the room, i cundt carry my gown so that i carb on bag load and weight Aircorn had issues, but wasnt a train smash Your communication on booking.com is poor, i had asked for shuttle and no one responded

Staff was excellent. Even though there was some room issues, they remained professional and courteous!

Got placed in a smoking room (we had 4 kids with us), but I think it might have been a Booking.com issue. Tv in the second room did not work (after being moved from the smoking room) and we had to be moved again.

The hotel's location. Proximity to the little Italian town (Montecasino), Bird Gardens, and the other malls across the road. The variety of meals available for breakfast. The hospitality of the Hotel staff.

There was a central cooling system, hence it was difficult to get my room completely warm when the atmosphere was cold.

Room was big and beautiful and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of delicious options available

Pool deck was being repainted/repaired so there was no nice place to sit outside - but the staff were kind enough to run us over to the nieghboring Pallazzo hotel pool area - which was beautiful - so this turned out to be a plus

It was absolutely beautiful. The Italian style buildings were an incredible sight. Such welcoming pleasant staff. A truly 5 star stay and experience. Cannot wait to return for another stay. Spotless clean rooms, comfortable beds, beautiful views, a stone throw to the entrance of the casino complex, spoilt for choice when it comes to dining, entertainment and relaxation.

A fantastic experience in this hotel. i was travelling for work but my days in the event it was a really pleasure to be taking care off by all the smiling staffs. The gym is great with all you need to get ready for a hard working days. Breakfast is exquisite .... i am going back in June to Johannesburg and this is were i am going to stay agin for sure.
