Great, charming, well decorated hotel; perfect location for the old city, the train and bus station; friendly and helpful staff. Our room was comfortable, spotless and quiet. Good breakfast and we enjoyed the displays of the vintage toys displayed on the staircase. Because it is located in the city there is no parking available at the hotel itself but they have a limited amount of discount vouchers for the nearby secure car park (call ahead, perhaps) - otherwise, as we did, you have to pay the full amount, 1.80 euros/hr. A free car park is a little further away but it’s not secure so don’t leave anything visible in the car.

From check-in to check-out, the service was suburb. Francesca t the front desk became our 'Oracle" She had wonderful suggestion for everything from other restaurants to transportation to local information you can't easily access online or the guidebooks. And she and her colleagues were genuinely interested in how we enjoyed our activities outside the hotel, both to ensure our stay was perfect, as well as passing on information for other guests. We enjoyed the menu choices and wonderful dinner service in the hotel restaurant (something we typically avoid. ) The breakfast service and options were also excellent, and we started each day off with a wonderful cappuccino in the garden.

The aforementioned breakfast could have used more fruit options I suppose. And to really quibble, an option for a softer pillow would have been welcomed, though the bed itself was very comfortable.

Great location. There is someone at the front desk 24/7 so that made it easy when we arrived late. Clean rooms.

I had booked for two twin beds (traveling with my brother). When we arrived there was just a king bed. The woman at the reception told us to put a pillow between us lol! Fine, I guess but the King bed could clearly be separated into two beds. She reluctantly gave us more bedding and told us to separate and remake them ourselves. This was after she confirmed that yes, I did book two beds. We asked if she could do it while we went for a walk and she said no. Just a little strange, but in the end not a big deal.

The hotel in general was stunning with lots of art on display. But our room specifically was incredible with high beamed ceilings, a lovely small balcony and an unbelievably spacious bathroom with the best shower I have ever seen! The best thing about the property however was the staff, every single member of staff were friendly, helpful and in particular the gentleman that was in the restaurant that made our cappuccinos daily but also went above and beyond to make sure I had a big breakfast every day with fresh croissants, eggs and most importantly catered for my partner who is coeliac…I couldn’t have higher praise for the staff members and the hotel itself, thank you!

Very comfortable, near to the centre, personnel is perfect. After 6pm street is closed for the vehicle move, because the local restaurants began outdoors activities. The hotel is close to the airport-7km, bus station-180m,250 m yacht mole, you can reach perfectl beach in 15 min by bus. You can walk to any historical place or museum by feet. Local market is also can be reached without bus. The restaurants here are awesome, but you need reservation in order not to wait in the evening. The scenery for a walking is amasing. Will visit again

The Hotel Roma was very well situated and close a lot of the main attractions in Cagliari. The room was very comfortable and was a mixture of old and new. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. They even provided a small plastic stool which I found very useful both in the bathroom and in the bedroom. A lovely quiet hotel.

Everything was great. However, I would liked to have seen some English Language programmes available on the T.V.

The location was excellent, 200 meters from the train and bus stations , a lot of restaurants nearby, some of the historical places can be reached by walking (if preferred) The staff were very kind, accommodating and helpful. A big Thank you to Claudio. The hotel room and bathroom were spacious and cleanliness was spotless. Would definitely come back and highly recommended.

A softer pillows to consider but this wasn’t an issue.

Easy to contact the hotel with a query prior to arrival. A lovely friendly welcome. Very comfortable bedroom and efficient bathroom. Good Italian breakfast with a nice choice of coffees and friendly service. The dining room is gorgeous, delicious menu and rhe lifetime collections of arts, toys and antiques are fabulous.

Just that we would have liked a full length mirror in the bedroom.

The hotel is located in the center, near everything you need! When you go out in front of the hotel, there is a restoran on the right - excellent. The lady on the reception was so kind and helpful. She gave us good advice about the trip to airport. Thanks lady, you are great :)

Perfect location within walking distance of all the sights. Great dining options nearby as well as a restaurant in the hotel. The breakfast buffet was great!

Our room was very stuffy being on a higher floor and we were not able to control the a/c in our room. Tried sleeping with the windows open, but that let in the mosquitos!
