Excellent location, really kind, accommodating staff. Comfortable bed and nice to have chairs and a small table in the room to have a drink and snack in the evening. A small refrigerator was a pleasant surprise. Good stop before walking the Camino Ingles.

Unfortunately we stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and the street noise went on most of the night. The city collects the recycling at 1 am on Saturday morning, the bottles crashing sure woke us up.

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Alda El Suizo during our visit to Ferrol. The location is excellent — right in the city center, with everything just a short walk away. It made exploring the old town, restaurants, and shops incredibly convenient. The room was above average: clean, spacious, and nicely furnished, with comfortable bedding and good natural light. It definitely exceeded our expectations for this category of hotel. Breakfast was decent — nothing fancy, but it had the basics and was enough to start the day. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth and easy. Overall, it’s a solid option for anyone looking for a central and comfortable place to stay in Ferrol. We’d definitely consider returning.

Breakfast could be improved, but nothing to complain.

We stayed for two nights on our Camino Inglés. We were warmly greeted with two complimentary coffees. Our room was so spacious with a great bed, beautiful balconies, large bathroom. Free pastries in the afternoon were provided and staff told me I was welcome to use some dishware and silverware from the breakfast area—all appreciated! Great start to our Camino!

Garbage collection in the night is loud. Wish a coffee was offered for guests (since nothing available in the room) in the morning.

The family room was very spacious- check in and out easy, and the hotel great within Ferrol.

Elevator was clearly unsafe- even signage telling you to the take the stairs- no idea why you wouldn’t fix the elevator. Not a problem for us to go up and down 5 flights but if you had any mobility issues or younger children this would be challenging. Breakfast was a low point.

Very cosy and historical hotel in the historical city centre at a walking distance from the Port. You can admire the façade by a local architect. Rooms fill their role, but no AC. Regular breakfast.

No AC in the room we got. Ferrol is generally cool but it has some hot days, like the one we arrived. AC or another cooling device would have been nice.

The location of the hotel was perfect. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, shopping and sightseeing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast served each morning was plentiful and delicious.

There was no air conditioning and only one small wastebasket in the room.

The lobby and main areas were excellent. The room was spacious enough for two single adults with good beds.

The heat was centrally controlled. We found it very hot, and could only open windows to cool it off. That made it very noisy on the nights during our weekend stay which coincided with a festival.

The Staff at the reception exceeding our expectations and they did their best to cover our needs. Breakfast was quite ok

The air condition in our room was broken and it was warm enough although they did the best they could do and brought us a portable one and a fan to make the situation more affordable

Great location, big marble bathroom, huge windows. Very friendly staff and you can tell hotel used to be amazing.

It’s a bit sad that such a beautiful hotel is not taken care off: shower had old dirty silicone, the cheapest shower head, cheap toilet paper, paper cups for tea.

Good location in Farrol, close to zhe start of the camino inglés. Could be a bit louder on weekends due to the lication.

At check-in I was told that coffee for would be availabe as soon as some one is setting up the breakfast area! The guy stettng up breakfast did not let me enter the room at 06:59... I had to wait till 07:00... not sure what happend to him on saturday night, but he was not a happy camper on sunday morning!
