The hotel is set in the middle of the mountain, in its own little world. You feel disconnected as soon as you arrive. The views are amazing, no matter were you are on the property. The rooms were elegant and modern, the bed was very confortable, the bathroom was big and clean, and the Rituals products are an class touch. The outside pool is exceptional, with, once again, amazing views. The sun-beds were luxurious. Very peaceful. The spa offers many services, such as different pools, hammam and sauna. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. In particular, Mar, at reception, was lovely. Definitely an excellent option for a getaway. We will undoubtedly return when we can.

The only think we didn't absolutely love was the buffet dinner. The cheese selection was amazing, but we felt like the main dishes and the sides left room for improvement.

When I decided to walk around the golf course, an employee came up to me and scolded me very sternly that I couldn't walk there, but there were no signs or fences. It was not pleasant. It looked like it was a golf course employee, but I was there for the first time and didn't know the local rules yet.

Overall the hotel is very beautiful. Very unusual and comfortable. I liked the view from the window, the architecture of the hotel, the delicious breakfasts, the spa and the pool.

the breakfast was excellent, I loved the scramble eggs and pancakes Also the bread was incredible. The room was very spacious and confortable, with beautiful panoramic views of the mountains and the golf course. We were able to witness incredible sunsets. The staff was very helpful and attentive, specially Angel in the front desk, always willing to help.

Rooms and design of the hotel is fantastic. Standard of the food was amazing and always good quality, would have just been nice to have a greater fruit and cereal selection at breakfast. The hotel could apply to be part of the Small Luxury Hotels Collection, which would also help with marketing and boosting guest numbers during the week, when it is very quiet.

Location of the resort is a bit out of the way so a car is needed if you want to explore the local area. The 'buffet' dinner was actually a set menu which was preferable but the food options were limited and didn't change for the whole of our stay, I did ask about this during our stay and reception said we could order what we wanted which was nice but this was sometimes difficult to communicate with staff in the restaurant due to a lack of English. The restaurant was also lacking in atmosphere and some background music would have been nice. The pool bar was unstaffed and we had to put out our own umbrellas and sun loungers which didn't really feel right for the quality of the hotel. A few small changes and the stay could have been perfect,

Design, clean, has the gym and pool, the golf course is Great and the driving range. They take you from the hotel to the golf course down the hill and also can pick you up and take you back to the hotel. The club house was well organised. The golf course is well maintained!

The food is average. You pay a lot for not much on the plate. There isn’t much space for networking. Everyone one is hidden in there rooms. So if you are wanting to travel alone and want to network than choose a different place. The staff didn’t really speak English so communication wise it wasn’t good. Google maps doesn’t take you to the place. Had lot 30min looking for the hotel and also wasn’t able to reach by phone the reception. The receptionist didn’t speak English well or understood my basic golf questions ( where to buy the driving range balls). The Tvn had couple of Spanish channels and no English ones or a possibility to mirrow screen or log into Netflix. It’s far away from any town and shop so advice is to have a car. 50min away from the beach.

Dinner buffet and pancakes for breakfast was the best! The staff. The bread. The spa space + gym with a view! The lunch menu! Lovely way to spend my birthday in quiet solitude.

Hard to find fault with this place. I would have preffered a buffet dinner every night but I understand this may not have been possible with the amount of people staying on a sunday..

The location is amazing, with a fantastic view from the swimming pool. Overall very relaxing and quiet. The room was super spacious and the bathroom is wonderful. The overall experience was great.

It's gorgeous and quiet and the rooms are huge, each with its own balcony with very good view. Comfy bed and spacious bathroom. Staff were excellent.

Looks 5-star, but dinner and breakfast are not 5-star. Also, the hot water takes like 3-4 minutes to get to the bathtub or shower.

Building design is fabulous. The views are amazing. Spa was great and bedroom also very good.

Breakfast wasn’t great.Dinner was a buffet but again not great. Not much atmosphere in the bar as it was so quiet.

the building is an amazing architectural ultra modernist concrete creation with uber stylish public areas ,very cool suberb large room with terrace and views over the valley and golf course . it’s 5 mins up a mountain road so very peaceful and relaxing place to be and spend time . 2nd time I have stayed here on drives to and from the costa del sol and will be my go to hotel from now on .

the standard of food in the restaurant is not a match for this quality of hotel it’s quite basic and the set dinner menu is very limited choice and what was served was quite amateur and just not acceptable .
