It was close to a lot of attractions, it was clean, the pool was nicely maintained, and the staff was very polite and helpful. For the price it was a great deal!

If you're on the second floor in the front you have to haul luggage up the stairs. But if you don't mind that, it's not a problem. There is another section of the hotel where there is an elevator. Just make sure you specify if you need elevator access. For us it wasn't a big deal, because in the front you are close to the pool, mini golf, and the lobby.

An older hotel but the grounds looked freshly mowed, and it looked like they were putting in new beds. Our room had a new bed, and it was very comfortable. We had read reviews online, so we knew they only offered coffee, juice, muffins and cereal for breakfast but that wasn't an issue for us. The front desk was manned by DeMarcus, and he was very friendly and had me registered quickly and we were able to check-in early. We booked the Deluxe 2 Queen Beds, and it was a nice room with lots of room to move around. We plan on staying here again next month when we go into Galveston for the Shrimp Festival.

This hotel was a good value for the money. It was close to the water, right down the street from the water park and dinning. We really enjoyed our stay. The free minigolf was a hit with the kids and the pool was easily accessable. We would definately stay there again.

One of the staff members was really frustraited and did not know how to check us in with an online booking. He was initally going to charge us again for the rooms. Luckily another member stepped in and helped us check in. She was really nice. He was too, but he was not good at being proffessional with his frustraition. It would have put most people off as it kind of did us.

Like how close it was to where I needed to be. Seems quiet and calm. I wished the pool was heated! The kitchen lady was wondering and had a great attitude! Easy parking Quick check in with the gentleman very nice! Much better than when we got there the first go!

No early check in courtesy, the lady up front was cold and rude. It was an extra $45 to check in .. I was only hr early, Walked right outta there. Not welcoming. I think that was the worst of it. Her bad attitude seemed to be to anyone... not people pleasing whatsoever. I'd move her from the front! Bath towels maybe some "face" ones would be good so the white isn't getting dirty with make up. We used our shirts to be nice. I would hate that!

Loved the location. Loved being able to get coffee in the lobby at all hours of the day. Access to a nice pool and that you have a mini golf course. Love the convenient free parking. staff is very friendly.

We stayed in 218, main building. The stairs in the "tower" (in the middle of the building) are dangerous and not in good repair. Broken, chipped, uneven. The rail doesn't enough space to get a good grip to climb the stairs. We discovered another set of stairs with iron stairs and railing and that one was safer than the other one.

Very large room, excellent staff, very helpful and friendly, covered parking available low rates for cruise parking, free on site adventure golf course.

Located next to waste water treatment plant so some odors from time to time, our room looked out onto a large gasometer, so not to great a view. The parking slots were on the small size so our truck was not able to fit comfortably Into many of the parking places. There were additional spaces that were bigger, but were closed off having just been painted. Adventure golf course was rather dilapidated.

location was great, breakfast was very good as well, pancake making machines available fresh fruit, toast bread and bagels, muffins, boiled eggs as well as well as yogurt and cereal Just a quick snack to start our day and head out to our adventures. My husband and our boys loved it. The room was super big and so clean and comfy. The pool and the golf course were a big plus, just take some off spray because of the mosquitos, since it rains at random times there are alot of mosquitos just waiting to attack. Other than that, the location and the stay was awesome it was close to everything as well as the beach as well.

I really liked how perfect it was for our family of 4 trip. Mini golf and pool for the young teens and a decent breakfast that held us over till lunch. The best part was how close it was to Schlitterbahn. We even went back to the hotel for lunch that day! The staff also is friendly and responsive.

Well, I can’t say there were things I didn’t like but everyone needs to consider the age of the hotel. I found it cute and quaint but others may just find it old.

The property is slightly dated. However, the room was bigger than most hotel rooms. We got two queen beds. There was a long dresser, a desk and chair on the right of the dresser, and a table and chair on the left of the beds. There was a mini refrigerator and a microwave. There was a coffee pot. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable.

The key to this hotel is how close you are to the beach, waterpark, and Moody Gardens. We could walk to Schlitterbahn, which was perfect for our visit, and it was a quick drive to the other places we wanted to go. The room was spacious and the staff were efficient in keeping the room cleaned. Bood simple breakfast.

There had been a lot of rain right before we came so mosquitos were a little bit of a problem, especially in the parking lot. Also, the rooms are a little outdated, so not the most comfortable.
