I’ll start by saying we had a great spacious warm room, comfortable beds and linen, fluffy towels, great bathroom. It’s rather like a big new rather soulless Holiday Inn and we could even open the windows, but sadly no WiFi. It’s slightly out of town and absolutely enormous, probably built to cater for huge conferences. It was Sunday night and the only guests were us few Camino travellers walking through vast empty rooms looking for staff. When you found them, the 2 staff worked hard and were as helpful as they could possibly be. They stored our 2 bikes safely out of sight and the restaurant chap ran around looking after everyone who wanted a bar meal early, before the restaurant opened at 19.30. He was amazing. It wouldn’t have been our first choice, but there was nowhere else to stay in Sahagun with our our bathroom so we were very grateful to have somewhere to suit our needs. Unfortunately the water was lukewarm warm early evening when we needed a shower. Maybe it will heat up by morning. The WiFi was non existent except in the cafeteria, so if you switched off WiFi on your phone, 4G worked fine.

No WiFi.

Lara the receptionist was fantastic. She answered all our questions, arranged taxis, etc. Nicolas the manager was very anxious to make our stay pleasant. We arrived in the morning before the checkin time. He worked hard to get us in our room and when that didn't work because of cleaning, he arranged to store our luggage as we explored the town.

It's a big hotel that has a lot of under utilized space so seems very empty. The rooms however are very nice. The lobby area was chilly.

Room is very nice. It's right on the camino. Bar on site.

It is a very large hotel for area. Just a guess, but heat not turned on because not enough guests in massive hotel for town. Hot water is more lukewarm. If the hotel ends up a success, maybe those problems go away. Suggest they consider offering laundry services.

Right on the Camino trail, but a 10 minute walk to old town. The rooms spacious and clean. The few staff on hand work hard and are eager to please.

A little too far from town. The the employees are wonderful, but they definitely need a few more staff members to help out. The overall hotel seems vacant at times.

Quiet and comfortable. The owner was attentive and recommended a delicious finger-food dish to quell my hunger upon arriving.

Front desk clerk made me wait to check in. Granted I arrived early but I had the impression that the decision was more about policy than my room not being move-in ready. The hotel is huge and I saw very few people.

Property was clean with Comfortable beds

It was on the other side of town across the railroad tracks - but right on the Camino. Just had to walk more to get to town. Also, they were just reopening after renovating the entire hotel, so they had some kinks to iron out.

Clean and spacious. Food was good. Staff friendly.

No WiFi and no hot water. Though I learned from another guest that they were trying to fix the water situation. They were unable to provide change - which made paying for incidentals and luggage transfer difficult.

Ambience in restaurant could be better. Maybe use the side with the windows looking onto the terrace.
