Very kind hosts, they received me even if during the trip I was not a pilgrim on the way to Santiago de Compostela, the room I was given was only shared with 2 more beds which allowed me to have a good proper rest and continue my journey the next day. The room, bathroom and facilities in general were clean, I liked the fact that there was A/C on in the room when I arrived as the heat outside was very strong.

Pilgrim meal was homemade and excellent for the Camino. Italian lady made it special with pistachio cheesecake. Staff went out of way to help u feel welcome. After dinner staff had you pick out a motivational phrase from a grab bag. Special stamp for a donation

Please regrout and clean showers and bathrooms. Provide a bath mat or something so you won’t slip

Owner and bar fantastic. Good indoor seating for pilgrim dinner which was excellent. Great covered outdoor seating for resting or having drinks or a meal. Room quiet. A wax artist was on site. Great stamp please support him!

Bathroom lighting very dim. Could use higher wattage or more bulbs. Hair dryer available but not functional.

This was the best stop on the Camino thus far. The atmosphere was amazing! The owner Nazareno was the best. The pilgrim dinner was a blast and the food was amazing. The rooms were super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Great outdoor seating area and a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommend!! Ten stars!

One of those rare moments where you don't need a common language to see people are decent. I felt so comfortable and at ease with the business family and surroundings I wished to have stayed longer. But I will return. The pilgrims meal was exceptional for the price. Home food. The private room comfortable and spotlessly clean. The best place since St Jean and that includes the 4* Monesterio Condes, because the Moratinos has a relaxed vibe commercialism could not capture. Thank you.

The People!!! The owner and her Son are Amazing. The communal dinner was so good! I had two helping of everything. But the main thing is the Love that radiates from this place! My favorite stop on the Camino. I will always have them in my heart❤️🥰

When I requested a vegetarian meal, they produced a delicious salad plate with fried eggs and a quinoa burger. It was truly excellent. They also made a wonderful cheese omelette for my breakfast. Some of the best food I had on the entire Camino Frances.

If you are looking for a place in the Camino de Santiago with more facilities or more utilities and care than public Albergues, Hostal Moratinos is a very recommendable option. Reasonable stay between Sahagun and Carrion. Good and friendly service with nice community dinners and great atmosphere.

Really nice room and restaurant has inside and large sunshades outside eating areas. And rooms upstairs had their own laundry lines out on the balcony. Nice touch. Theses made it an enjoyable stay. Here they also seem to have staff shortage issue. Young couple who ran the establishment were very helpful when available but the service was spotty.

Loved that it was directly on the Camino. Very friendly staff—loved getting a wax stamp there!

Our bathroom had no toilet paper or hand soap. Would’ve loved to have a homemade dessert at the pilgrims dinner.
