If I could give it more stars, I would. There’s not much to this town at all, but this property is an oasis that perfectly caters to the pilgrim. From a very comfortable common area, to a wonderful pilgrim community meal, to a very comfortable room, everything about this day was perfect Special shout out to Eduardo, who operates like he has eight sets of hands and a brain that keeps track of everything. He is the perfect host and his smile was always shining bright. Thank you, Eduardo for making this day extra special.

The boss was very friendly and casual with everyone. He was multitasking and yet remained calm and attentive. He trusted people to pay after eating so he did not issue meal tickets. The communal dinner was a good deal.

Quite chaotic at reception with only one staff registering hotel guests, albergue guests , attending to laundry queries and taking orders at the bar. The hotel also serves the albergue so there was quite a crowd at dinner time . I prefer less crowded establishments so this was not a good fit for me.

We had a quiet room for two persons downstairs. Very clean room and toilet. The hostel offered pilgrim dinner with lentil or vegetable soup and your choise of main course, desert, wine and water. There was maybe 100 people having dinner together, sitting in the yard and hall together. Very friendly service, the owner was working behind the counter and greeted us in our own native language Finnish. In the morning we got grilled bread, tea and coffee and juice for breakfast.

This was a great stay. I had a handicapped room on the first floor which was separated from the lobby and dining room by a couple of doors, so it was nice and quiet. This place seemed like the only game in town. I stayed in the hotel portion (as opposed to the bunk section next door), but everyone I talked to was very pleased with their accommodation too. They served a group pilgrim's dinner which was served with "buen camino" and humor and really set people up for a good time. Also, during my stay, I saw the proprietor give a lady a ride to the next town. She was exhausted and couldn't walk any more for the day, but her bag and reservation were in the next town. When he couldn't get her a taxi, he waited until things slowed down and then took her himself. Where I'm from, we call this "aloha" and that's what this place has!

The only open albergue and bar in town open so it was very busy. The two hosts managed to serve, cook and check in pilgrims, whilst keeping a sense of humour and a smile on their faces. The room was small but perfectly fine. The shower was hot. Great having a bar on sight to enable you to chat with other pilgrims. The community dinner, the food was ok but it was a great experience dining with so many pilgrims, us all chatting away.

The towels need updating as they are theeadbare

Absolutely outstanding hotel, so modern and fresh. I got a warm welcome and wished happy birthday on arrival. Room was beautiful and very spacious. We did a massive load of washing for €7.50 and they took it and brought it back dry, incredible. Pilgrims meal was delicious and 3 course with wine, water & bread for €15 and I even got a slice of cake with a candle in it, then I got happy birthday sang to me in 6 different languages from other pilgrims, best birthday ever.

We stayed in a twin room with an en suite bathroom. I first stayed here in 2013 when there was only the albergue (hostel) with bunk beds. Since then the place has grown to include a rural hotel. However it continues to be a special experience on the Camino. Eduardo and Jesus still run the place with smiles, kindness and efficiency. As before there is a communal meal at 7:00 pm with the opportunity to meet and talk with fellow pilgrims from many countries.

Eduardo and staff were excellent. He works incredibly hard behind the bar, checking in, in the restaurant and even find time to feed his horses! Very hospitable person. Community meal with 75 other people (25 at our table) was so much fun meeting other peregrinos. Outside courtyard was enjoyable and wall was full of geraniums. Nice relaxing spot to enjoy a drink in the afternoon. Room was clean. Hotel is modern. A diamond in the rough.

Location great for Camino travellers. Clean. Modern and a really nice Pilgrims meal. Bar area and my bed room had a modern and clean bathroom. Staff we’re nice too.

I visited in April and on the day I arrived there was a massive rain storm. Would have been lovely to have had a place to dry clothing and especially walking boots. The radiators in the room were cold ( the thermostat on the wall read 21) but no heating came on all night. I wasn’t cold as the bed was lovely etc but when I asked about heating to dry clothes I was told there was under floor heating. Sorry I felt the floor… no heat in my room. A place for drying boots would have been brilliant.

The Hotel was very well located close to the Camino. Our private room was spacious and we had all we needed after a day's walk on the Camino. They had a huge coverd and non covered patio with tables to drink and/or eat something from the bar. A huge cloth line was nearby where you could hang your washed clothes. They provided us with a communal meal in the evening at the cost of Euro 19, which was very much appreciated. The staff worked hard to make us comfortable. We liked that they started serving breakfast at 6:00am so we could start our walk early.
