It was New Year’s. The property was very close to the venue we attended. The location was excellent.

There was really nothing we didn’t like. Because of the holiday being New Year’s, they did not serve breakfast that morning, but we were able to find food nearby.

Clean and quiet

If you drive around back to leave the parking lot it and end up in the parking lot of the racetrack it takes seems like you are getting out but can’t. I had to really think to find something I didn’t like about the property.

We loved everything about the hotel. The staff was friendly. The bed was so comfy I wanted to take it home 😄. Breakfast was awesome! Our room was spacious and clean. Last, but not least, we loved the location in conjunction with Louisiana Downs Racetrack.

Room was very nice and bed very comfortable.

Went down for breakfast at 9:30 and there was no hot food. Also the room was close to the freeway side and was very noisy. You could hear the cars and trucks. Had to call and get the safe unlocked.

Very very friendly staff. Took care of every request. Like a lot of places now need more help but that seems to be the norm for any business now.

Dark bathrooms, no towel bars in bathrooms

I like how helpful the staff was. During our stay there was severe weather. The staff was updating us frequently to ensure we were safe. I appreciate this.

Nothing, everything was perfect. We didn't have any problems at all. I really do appreciate all the staff did during our stay. Thanks for enjoyable weekend.

We got there late with a U-Haul there was a lot of space to park. It is walking distance from a casino and Mexican restaurant . Our room was clean and comfortable

No vending or ice on our floor

Clean quiet spacious and comfortable room! Beds were so comfortable i wish i could've stayed longer!

Didn't want to be on that side of the building but was told the only 2 rooms with 2 queen beds on the requested ground floor weren't on the side I wanted, so couldn't be helped. It's a shame though that there aren't rooms with 2 queen beds on BOTH sides of the building

The pool area was extremely nice. The staff was very helpful and accommodating with extra towels also which was very nice. Very clean, comfortable, and extremely private which I though was very nice. We woke up later than usual, so we left later than check out and wasn't charged extra on my card. I thought this was very understanding. The front desk receptionist called and i gave her the simple truth and once again another staff member was accommodating. I also booked from a third party site and wasn't charged ANY EXTRA FEES. Strictly what the exact price said on my email confirmation. This was very important to me because them extra fees really do add up and I just had a horrible experience with a hotel/motel the previous week. To summarize it all..a very clean, private, accomodating, and trustworthy hotel.

I didn't really care for the breakfast. Then when I got home and thought about it, it was actually just right. It had hot egg and cheese omelet and sausage individually wrapped. I'm sure for food safety reasons given COVID. Not that the food wasn't actually good either because it really was, even my husband ate and he is a very picky eater. I just prefer potatoes with my breakfast but the hotel was ABSOLUTELY JUSTIFIED in serving the best accommodations for the given time.

Everything was great!

I don’t like that there are trees that home birds that can poop all over your car! I went to my car after a wonderful visit to find that birds covered my car with poop.
