On arrival the reception staff were very helpful and friendly, the suite was clean and comfortable and had a view overlooking the golf course and pool area. It had lovely modern decor, a good fridge and kettle. The cafe where we bought breakfast (croissants and coffee) was good and we were able to sit outside on the terrace. We also ate both nights in the restaurant which was busy as it was Chinese New Year, but the meals we had were good and the staff worked hard and were helpful and friendly. It was a last minute booking as we initially had booked 4 nights in Cameron Highlands but then realising there wasn't enough to do there, so Ipoh looked to be the next best place to stay on our way to Georgetown. We were very pleased with everything and we took a taxi into Ipoh to see all the street art which was amazing. A good choice for a 2 night stay.

Nothing to dislike

The reception staff were very helpful and explained how the property worked. The room was spacious and very clean. The kitchenette was fully equipped. The golf course and scenery were outstanding.

There was only one sachet of coffee each every 24 hours. There was only a body/hair wash, rather than separate shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion. The restaurant was limited in what was on offer, particularly with regard to alcoholic drinks, viz either beer or a vodka and orange juice; no wine, no spirits, no liqueurs. On the first day, we were told we had to have a caddie with us on the golf course. We found her very abrupt and she pushed us along faster than we wanted to go. She then asked for double the fee that we had been advised by the golf administrator.

Beautiful golf and spa resort. Lovely room and pleasant, helpful staff. Great little café overlooking the resort for breakfast and snacks/coffee during the day. The staff will take you back and forth from reception to the cafe in a golf cart! Also, there is a large restaurant with a reasonable menu choice. Taxis into Ipoh are very cheap from the hotel.. Ipoh has plenty of culture and I recommend spending a few days here to take in the city centre, the museums, the local park, waterfall and temples..The nightlife is also excellent for young and older generations.

Not a complaint at all, but if you go without a car, arrange to meet the taxi drivers in front of the inner security gate as they have some difficulties getting through the inner gate to the front of the hotel.

It’s not located in Ipoh town but we stayed there for local friend’s home proximity to do pick up etc. It’s a well maintained golf resort so it’s surrounded by beautiful scenery and facilities include free laundry room.

The ventilator in the bathroom extremely noise and blow out heated air which is very unbearable especially in such hot weather!! Reception and any other staff off duty after 8pm making it difficult to contact for service and support

This is a hidden gem of a resort in Ipoh, nestled amongst the rainforest valley and a private golf course 😍 The privacy here is excellent, with very good cellular reception and WiFi, enabling business travellers to work overlooking a beautiful scenery 👍🏽 They also had a delegated parking for guests which is quite rare. The staff are friendly and there are basic amenities 10 minutes away (petrol station, convenient stores, street food, etc.) just outside the golf course.

The location is about 30 minutes from all the main hotspots at Ipoh (which was not an issue for me with proper planning) 😉 I'd recommend this property for guests looking for a relaxing time away from all the touristy places.

Love the location as it seems secluded from the hustle bustle of the city. So quiet and serene. We also love the view of the golf field, spectacular. The room was also clean and comfortable. They also have a kids room (even though not that big and doesn't have much variety), but it still can make the kids happy to play there. They also provide bicycles for guests to use. Buggy car service was also provided if you want to go anywhere inside the resort, really helpful.

I just missed the info that the room rate was for two adults, so I need to add an extra charge for the kids, luckily they just charge RM 90. They were really strict about how many guests that you could bring in as it is based on the beds provided. So you should ask the resort for any clarity, if you plan to book from other than their website. As for this matter, it's better to stay at a hotel as they are quite lenient on this. The rate was also without breakfast, so a bit pricey for us.

Well appointed, comfortable and spacious property. Ideal location on beautiful resort with great facilities, not just for golfers but for all the family. Dining choices are extensive and great quality, and the staff (reception, golf and dining) were exceptional.

The Studio room we stayed in were very clean, give thumbs up to the room keeping services. Free Kacang Puteh made our trip memorable and free mini bar. Sufficient pantry supplied for a short stay.

Shower water current not strong. Sofa Bed should be given linen sheet for hygiene purposes, only extra pillow and blanket were found in the wardrobe, no linen.

The resort is far away from the hustle bustle of the city. A quite and serene place. Clean atmosphere as it is near the forest.

Upon checking out, the staff still checking all the items in place such as asking for the 'unseen' bath towel in the room. For me, this act gives the impression as if we are not trustworthy by taking it out from the room. I think this procedure should be stopped by now.

A resort surrounded by trees: Air is fresh with night temperature very pleasant and lower than that in the city of Ipoh. Room is spacious. Car park is free and parking lots are plenty.

The tea table in the living room is having only 3 legs and easily be overturned with drinks dropping to the floor. It is a stupid design to have 3 legs tea table.
