The room was nice and clean, it had a fridge and a microwave. The staff was friendly too. There are ChargePoint stations in the parking lot if you're travelling by an EV (the first 5 hours are free (you are only paying the charging fee), after that it is $2/hour). Keep in mind that there's no service near the hotel as well as going North or South from it for about 10 minutes, so your only option is the hotel Wi-Fi.

Our room was facing the highway, so if you are a light sleeper like we are, try asking to be put in a room away from the highway.

This stay was a splurge for us. But the hotel was right where we wanted to be and we ended up adding 2 more nights onto our original one night stay. We have never stayed at a Holiday Inn/Express. Quite surprised. Very welcoming staff. Clean, nicely designed. Great room with the most comfortable bed. Nice that they offer breakfast with quite a few options to choose from. There is a pool, workout room and a separate Casino, none of which we used. Good sound proofing in the rooms.

Almost nothing, it's a nice establishment. The only negative for me was the bathroom sink is an under mount sink and it was a bit moldy on the caulking. And, of course, I wish room rates could be lower, but......:)

The staff in the lobby was welcoming and greeted us right away. Check in was fast. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't partake in the breakfast, although it looked like the usual basics. The gentleman that checked us out was kind enough to ask us if we made sure to get our phone charging cords. Easy access off the Redwood Highway. This was a nice choice if you didn't want to stay in a cabin or tiny motel along the way.

Not much of anything to eat around the area. This hotel is tucked in to a little area with the casino. However, we expected that because the hotel noted this. We ate dinner in Crescent City before stopping for the night here.

Very clean, like new. Pool was closed. Mircowave, refrigerator, phone, desk, tv and the most comfy bed and pillows. Big pump body wash, shampoo, conditioner and more by bathroom sink. Full breakfast

I arrived a hour early lady at desk was very rude. She said I had to wait, but then called me said my room was ready. I more than knew about time that it takes to clean restaurant in casino what I ordered was bad

Overall, a great trip where we looked forward to getting out of the house and enjoyed the outdoors and trying new things. Good hotel for Trees of Mystery stop.

It is unfortunate the restaurate and bar close so early @ 8pm I believe. Also the store @ the hotel should have more food for people to have access to for kids and such. Also unfortunately at breakfast they ran out of scrambled eggs!

The room was super comfortable and clean! My husband was a little worried about the noise give the proximity to the highway, but we didn’t hear a thing! The breakfast was a welcome reprieve from eating in restaurants every day.

I was really looking forward to some exercise after a long day in the car. A set of dumbbells would be an excellent addition to the gym room!

Check-in was easy, Newer place, so everything was in top condition Breakfast was different every day we stayed there, omelette , biscuits and gravy, eggs, fruits, yogurts, juices, etc. You’re just minutes from trees of mystery, the museum there is awesome!

Though there’s a casino on site getting something to eat was driving to Crescent city! (20 minute drive)

The room was so lovely! After a long day of driving, it was nice to decompress in a clean, quiet room nestled in the mountains. The room was large and very clean, the bed was quite comfy and the access to food nearby, even in a remote area, was very convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again on our next road trip!

This place was great! The beds were so comfortable after a full day hiking around the park and what a great location for visiting the rest of the Redwoods the next day! This hotel was very clean! The staff was very knowledgeable as well as made sure we had a great stay! They had a little food truck available due to the casino and restaurant being closed but we chose the country club diner/bar and it was a lot better than expected and had such friendly staff! Breakfast was honestly one of the best continentals that we have had in a very long time. You won’t regret your stay here!

Actual hot breakfast, with eggs, sausages, biscuits, pancakes and even cinnamon buns. Multiple EV chargers on site. Spacious rooms, and an indoor pool too. There was a mini fridge and a microwave, which was super handy since dining options are limited in the area.

Super minor, but no HDMI cable to connect to the tv.
