The cabin was amazing. Very clean and provided several things that we didn't expect, like a continental breakfast brought to the room, Keurig pods and they even brought us a crab pot after our day of fishing. They were extremely responsive to any questions or needs. Oh and the beds were SO comfortable!! Would definitely stay here again!

They only provided plates and silverware for 4, although 4 of us stayed there were 6 of us for dinner after fishing. They may have provided more if needed but we didn't ask

We had a small Queen Suite cabin and it was delightful. The cabin was clean and well appointed with dishes, cutlery, a small fridge (yet much larger than a bar fridge), microwave, toaster, kettle and a small sink. It meant that we could heat a prepared meal (from the grocery store deli) in the microwave and enjoy it in the room. To our surprise, View Crest also provides a continental breakfast, delivered to your room the night before, that you prepare in your own cabin. Again this was a delightful surprise.

We were told we were in a room with a view, but the view was of the highway and an Inn across the road. I understand why they said we had the view side room, because the room / cabin we were in was part of a two apartment /cabin building and the other "cabin" presumably viewed only the grounds (I didn't go around to look). It was a minor misnomer which didn't affect our stay.

Great lodge with a cabin feel. Everything we needed and more. Nice to have a lounge area in the lodge after staying in hotels. We could see the sea and the sunset which was a bonus. Substantial breakfast delivered in a bag ready for the morning. Great private patio area which was a sun trap. Nice quiet place to relax. Comfy bed and well appointed bathroom: everywhere clean and new.

No complaints. Just note that the main area of Trinidad is a couple of miles up the road so needed to drive in for evening meal - I hadn’t realised

- Room setup/layout and small kitchenette/living room area feel like you have a small one bedroom place instead of just a bedroom - Small ocean view at unit 7A - Location/close to parks - Friendly staff - Heater works very well - Convenient breakfast process (fill out a form the day before and they drop off the food and drink at your room the night before)

-We like to take our shoes off at the door but the floors made our feet/socks dirty (suggest slippers or slides) Would be nice to have but not a big deal: - Two luggage holders instead of one so you don't have to share one for two people's luggage and a couple more hangers for the closet - Not a walkable location, even though you're so close to the coast and Sue Meg State Park.

Super cute family cottage. Good value for money. Had all the basics we needed. The grounds with picnic tables had a nice view of the ocean (once the fog cleared up). It was very conveniently located for our trip to fern canyon and trees of mystery. Staff was super proactive and setting up our late check in and had the cottage ready for us. Loved designated parking spots for each cottage which were right at the entrance.

No dishwasher in the unit.

Quiet, spacious, clean, affordable. Would definitely return and upgrade for a few nights. Our neighbors were there for a few nights and had a kitchen. They could cook their own meals and sit on the deck with amazing views. Definitely worth a stay. PS... go beyond the property on 101 and backtrack to get there. The road from Trinidad is horrendous.

Absolutely nothing

Newly refurbished and very clean. Nice breakfast choices. Very helpful and friendly. Peaceful and quiet grounds in December, pretty setting, convenient to outings and close enough to town. Nice deck if there hadn't been rain. We got lucky and did not have neighbors/noise.

The heater in the bedroom was a bit noisy (if you use earplugs, it is not a problem). The lights from the living room shine right into the bed (if one of you stays up later than the other) and no privacy from living room to bedroom, could be solved with a curtain. I'm not a fan of foam toppers on beds or super high pillows (judging from our other hotels, these are popular...) Some units share a wall. That surprised me.

They have provided a very clean, comfortable space. With consideration to all conveniences. Great shower, good storage and shelf. Space. Very convenient kitchen with fridge and freezer microwave and toaster and coffee maker Added bonus was breakfast delivered in the evening before Great day wish we could have stayed longer Highly recommend

Beautiful view and wonderful, spacious room! We greatly enjoyed the coziness of the fireplace and jetted bathtub, and the extensive kitchen facilities.

We liked the breakfast delivery, but maybe more options/hot breakfast would have elevated our experience. Such a minor thing though, we thought our stay was perfect regardless!

Breakfast provide to room in the evening for the next day (order off menu). Room very large, I would call it a suite. Partial view of the ocean from our room. Area provided for picnic/grill out. Close to Trinadad and Sue-meg Park.

Great as is! Check in was simple; same for check out. Fairly large frig provided as well as a kitchen sink, microwave and disshes.
