Location was perfect for our needs; the room was pretty quiet and a solid value. Close to eateries of all sorts and navigating Eureka was easy. The Zoo was very good, as well as the next door parks with flowers and very good walking trails under giant sequoias. Samoa beach was nice and quiet with a handy log for our sit down picnic.

Bathroom fan was a little noisy and the tub didn’t feel secure (shifty bottom, room 524). Nice hot water and great pressure with plenty of towels.

I was skeptical about staying here after reading some reviews online, especially about the kiosks, and reports of being charged extra for "stained linens", but that was not my experience at all. Check in was simple, and facilitated by a very friendly gentleman and not via zoom call. My room was spacious and well appointed, and I was able to enjoy a hydro massage in the fitness room (for a fee paid in the office). I was informed that the pool is heated now, but I didn't bring a bathing suit. The bed was so comfy it had me hitting the snooze button because I didn't want to climb out of it.

The breakfast was the only disappointing thing about my stay. Grab and go can be very good, but this was a bit lacking. My blueberry muffin was nothing to write home about, small and sort of stale. They had some off brand granola bars and a few other items, but you had to ask the attendant to get them from a case for you. I'm glad I stopped off at the market and grabbed a banana and yogurt the evening before, because nothing fresh was available on site. The breakfast at the Inn would be greatly improved by adding a mini fridge for yogurts, milk, and juice; a little basket with some fresh fruit; and a simple cereal dispenser with some corn flakes and cheerios or something.

The location was great for our family. Right in old town Eureka. I liked that our car was safe inside a locked gate. The area didn't seem too bad, but in a city there's always some riff raff. I really liked the staff, they were very helpful with a couple things we needed. They went out of their way to help us.

They really shouldn't be calling what they serve for breakfast, "breakfast". We chose this place over another because of the bonus of breakfast. Pop Tarts, granola bars, and mini muffins does not constitute a breakfast in my opinion. That is coffee with a snack. A couple of the amenities didn't function like the bath plug when the kids wanted a bath. Also, the hair dryer did not work but they were able to get us replacement so it wasn't a problem at all.

Good location liked that I could do our laundry right across the street while getting my coffee and really great doughnuts all with in the block and our absolute favorite part was the pool that was perfect for my two year old 7 yr old and my husband and myself the weather was perfect we really enjoyed every minute

Trailer parking.. it was a little sketchy leaving our car and trailer parked on the road side with so many people out and about 24/7

It was right next to the pier and the Carson Mansion. It was within walking distance of downtown and there was beautiful art work everywhere. There was also a heated pool which was amazing!

The supposed breakfast included was pretty minimal. I stayed two night and when they said breakfast included I thought it was gonna be actual breakfast but it was coffee and pop tarts. I guess better than nothing.

The room was large, comfortable and cozy. Shower was hot. Security was pretty good.

The supposedly "continental breakfast" was a joke: pre-packaged muffins and some kind of health bar from the local grocery store-dosent make it. Having to wait for someone to show up in the office to check out and get a receipt made me late for work.

Queen size room and bathroom were a nice size, with a nice mini fridge, tv, and desk setup. Staff was great and super helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. Nice amenities for the cost, like the pool.

The parking lot was tight and the spots were small. It was located right off highway 101, so you could usually hear cars.

I like that it's conveniently located to local spots I go to. It's also a comfortable place to stay

Well I didn't see any staff in the lobby while checking in. Also not liking the fact that I was charged for a stained towel that I didn't stain I found it stained.

Location, location and location

The only issue I had was trying to get something to eat. I was told several different times that the breakfast would be even though it was just a grab and go. I ended up having to get in my car and go downtown after several attempts to get breakfast After 6 o’clock in the morning several times.
