We had a fantastic week at Maison d'Hotes Joussaume - our first family holiday with our 8 month old baby. The location is perfect being in the town centre and within 30-40 minutes drive to main towns like Epernay and Reims. The apartment room was lovely and had everything we needed like refrigerator, microwave, kettle etc. The only thing lacking was somewhere to hang clothes so we had to keep clothes in our bags but that did not impact on our stay. The garden and swimming pool were perfect, so nice to have the option to relax by the pool especially with a baby. Finally, Marie who runs the B&B is "magnifique"! Very friendly, helpful and accommodating and makes a delicious breakfast with fresh breads/croissants, cheese, yoghurt and fruit. We couldn't have asked for more and if ever we were in the area again we would definitely stay.

The breakfast was lovely. The pool was great only was able to use it one day due to the rain but kids loved it. The grounds were beautiful and location can't be beat. Very easy to walk every where that you want to be in the local city. Close to restaurants, grocery, parks and the water.

Having breakfast just out and available during set hours would have been nice vs needing to be there at a set time. That is just personal preference with little kids and long days- it is nice to come down for breakfast when we are ready each day- maybe 8am one day and 10am the next. Lovely breakfast though. We all loved the dog!

The owner was friendly and welcoming and patient with our rusty French. She recommended a good nearby restaurant. It was wonderful to have air conditioning. The house was very attractive. Minutes walking distance from the centre and with a beautiful enclosed garden. The pool was very clean but sadly it was raining so we didn't use it. Breakfast in the garden room was excellent.

Nothing really. Chateau Thierry isn't a very interesting town but the river side gardens are attractive.

Breakfast was a nice start to the day and it was enjoyed in a lovely breakfast room overlooking the stunning back garden. The suite was adorable and beautifully furnished. Marie is an outstanding and very friendly hostess with great style.

We only had one concern and that was the pullout bed. The bar beneath the mattress could be felt and therefore it wasn't the best sleep for my two friends. My other friend and I slept very well in the double/queen bed. It was very comfortable.

Lovely house, very nice room and bathroom. Close to center of town and easy to find. Fantastic hostess with delicious breakfast.

Fantastically relaxing stay in a beautiful house with lovely garden and warmed swimming pool, right in the city center. The hostess did all she could to make us comfortable.

Everything was in walking distance. Marie was awesome! She's pleasant and had everything ready and waiting for us. I would DEFINITELY stay there again!

Convenient location and quiet. Comfortably room modernized, yet in keeping with original historic structure.

The room was great and the bathroom spacious with a great shower. Marie was delightful and her petit-dejeuner was perfect. Air conditioning!
