Good place for a short stay. Close to the freeway and somehow next to downtown attractions (haven’t found any btw)

Noisy sometimes - my room was at the second floor facing the road and a sort of a terrace. Occasionally you can hear the music coming out of the cars. The air conditioner was a battle between cold and hot. You want a say 21 Celsius in the room, the heat starts blowing for a few minutes. Once the temperature is reached the cold air starts blowing. Turning it down does not really work. It will blow cold continuously. Btw. This happened only 2 days out of three. The first day it did not work at all.

plenty of outside area to enjoy. These locations were perfect for sipping on a cup of coffee or enjoying a cold beer.

The parking fee was something I normally would not be required to pay. It would have been nice to have parked under a shaded area; Tucson can have extremely hot summer and a bit of shade somewhere in the future at this excellent location would be a great enticement and selling point.

Great location for public transport links and downtown. Beds were super comfy. Welcome cookies were delicious! Public areas comfortable.

Some tourist information about what’s available locally. Staff didn’t know where the tourist information office was in Tucson. Paper cups in coffee machine in room. Proper mugs would be better. Having to look online for hotel info.

The Doubletree by Hilton Tucson downtown convention center was a delightful place for my family and I to stay. The staff were wonderful. The atmosphere they have created there made us feel safe and carefree. Its located conveniently next to Tucson downtown convention center. So if there's an event that your family is going to this is the place to stay.

The location was great, right downtown. The room was clean and spacious. The valet was very helpful.

The valet was the friendliest staff. Other staff members seemed to go about their day without acknowledging us. The beds were hard and not very comfortable. No complimentary breakfast. Even with the 'King Suite upgrade', there was still no refrigerator or microwave. There are no locks on the bathroom doors.

Everything, Gordon was the first person that said welcome to the double tree let me help you with a positive attitude even in the heat of the day. Thank you Jordan, also Michelle that made our coffee, was very nice, also . I can't remember his name but sat us down and very nice he was from lajolla cal.

Room sevice fork was dirty it had dried egg on it, I had to wash it before use. The bathroom could use a fan and over bed a ceiling fan.

I liked everything for the most part. The staff and customer service is top notch. The vibe is nice, homey, and friendly. The rooms are very nice. It's close to everything downtown. They even give you a welcome cookie! It's the little things!!

I do wish the rooms had some of these additional items and/or features. None of these are necessary, but they would be nice. A weight scale in the bathroom. A fan in the bathroom. A microwave in the room.(most important) I wish the light switches were not lights themselves. It's like they are nightlights. It was hard to sleep with so much light blasting through the night. So I didn't care for that. There is actually one thing I didn't like at all and that was that you have to pay for parking.

The breakfast was very good both days. The potatoes were excellent flavor. We had an omlet one day and French toast the next. The server was very professional and friendly. The bartender, Isabel was charming and sweet. She made us feel very special.

They didn’t give toast or any bread with the omlet. We would have liked a choice.

Clean and friendly staff. Food at the restaurant in the lobby was great.

Pool was too small. Had to pay for parking which I wasn't aware of until check out. Asked for extra towels through room service and they never brought them, had to ask the cleaning crew. No room cleaning until we asked cleaning staff during their shift.

Location can’t be beat if you are going to the Tucson Convention Centre as the two buildings are connected. Very friendly staff, always helpful made my stay especially pleasant. The hotel is new, about a year old so in very good condition. If being downtown is the location you need I wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel. I will happily stay there again next year.

This is a well run hotel. It’s pricier than it should be during the busy show at the convention centre I was attending but to be expected as the hotel was at 100% capacity. Other times of the year it’s about half the price.
