The location is good and tho its a busy street, it quiets down at night. Good offstreet parking. It appears that the room I was in was recently updated, so it was clean and sharp looking. Spacious minifridge that worked well (remember how they always froze your food?). Bed comfortable. 3 chubby pillows per bed. TV worked well. Long bathroom counter which I like. The shower was something new with a cool dual head so that it was easy to rinse the nether parts and my feet; I had never seen one like that but I loved it.

Only 2 issues for me- one was that the receipt for the hotel from the prior guest was still sitting on bedside table, so how well was room cleaned? It did not appear to be dirty and there were new rolls of toilet paper, so I know it was cleaned. An oversight I assume, but kinda creepy. No breakfast is offered, tho I often don't eat that anyway. Bumstead's restaurant is right across the street for breakfast. Also, I prefer an option of not so chubby pillows cause I am small.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the design of the hotel. Pool was a nice bonus. Aircon worked really well. The front desk staff welcomed a guest for me and called up my room to let me know they were here, which was nice. Bumsted's diner across the road was great too, and handy.

Carpet and floor could maybe do with a deep clean, as I noticed that I was getting grubby feet when I walked with bare feet. Could have had a non-dairy milk put out at breakfast for the cereal, but at least there were biscuits/coffee/juice.

This is a classic Motel, however the beds were absolutely magically comfortable and the shower was great. It's on a busy street but the fan unit worked well to block out the street noise. The staff was helpful and quickly got us checked in and checked out. Breakfast was minimal.

We didn't use the pool because it was chilly but it was small and not very aesthetically pleasing. The art on the wall is a bit overwhelming but I appreciate the enthusiasm. The place is a bit run down but also does the job.

I stayed for 3 nights and was overall quite pleased. I found my room to be completely serviceable and clean. I had a couple dealings with the lady working at the desk on the day shift and she was very pleasant and helpful. Above all, during my stay it was QUIET. There is no loud freeway nearby or anything that made excessive noise and I was actually able to get some sleep.

Minor gripe: I wish the refrigerator in my room had a freezer on it so I could freeze some water bottles as I like to do in summer but that wasn't a super big deal.

Room was an excellent value. It was obviously remodeled and updated with good taste and all fixtures and faucets worked well. While the rooms opened to the outside, their were three locks on the front door, the window shade completely blocked out light and noise. The property felt safe and quiet.

This is nothing that can be changed, but being on a busy street might seem a minus to some people. The nice front desk person gave us directions to get to 4th Avenue and we enjoyed walking through the historic section of Tucson.

Reasonably close to U of Arizona campus where I went to a game. Nice view of mountains from second level balcony/walkway area. Comfortable bed.

Wasn't clear to me that the key could be left at the desk by dropping it of thru an office accessible area. Had to ring bell/buzzer and ended up waking up the manager at middle of the night because I had to leave early for the airport. He might want to emphasize this more during check-in. If driving from a moderate or greater distance, it is good to be aware that some Tucson roads end, and slight detours are required (e.g., maybe a block or so over on the road where the section discontinues) to keep going on the same road. Not directly hotel-related, but it caused me to have to check in later than I planned.

At first look, we thought the hotel much older than expected, 1950's style, but found that the rooms had been completely redone. The decoration wasn't exactly my taste, but the beds were quite comfortable and the facilities were all new and worked well. I didn't use the refrigerator or the microwave, but it was good to know they were there. The bath/shower was very new and the shower especially good. Much better than expected at first sight. Also the second day we realized that there were also bagels and toast, yogurt and oatmeal, fruit and juice served, and enjoyed those. The person in charge when we arrived (and it was later than planned) was very helpful also.

The 'comfortable' chair wasn't very comfortable, but the desk chair and desk very convenient and comfortable, and the lighting also very good - with area lighting that made it very easy to see without having overhead bright lights on.

The location was convenient and the room furnishings very comfortable and chic. We got a good recommendation from the staff for a nearby barbecue place, which was delicious. All the usual fast food was nearby, as well as non- chain coffee shops because of the location near the university. Good, affordable accommodations.

There were no negatives. Google maps had the wrong info for getting into the Inn, which can be accessed directly from Stone.

The room was very spacious with all the needed facilities. The location was also nice and it was closer to the famous 4th Avenue. A very apt place for business travelers and it was a good deal for the money.

-A kettle in the room would be nice to make coffee. - The parking of the car can be disturbing at night time if the room is on the ground floor
