We were in town for a bowl game at U of A and it was about a 30 minute walk. There aren't many hotels closer so we were happy to find one in walking distance. There is a restaurant/bar right next to the hotel that is convenient but super weird. Not a lot else that is really close outside of a gas station, Starbucks and KFC. The hotel was average. Rooms were large and clean. Pool area had a nice hot tub. They transformed what I assumed was one of their larger rooms to the breakfast area. The biscuits and gravy were delicious!

It is located right across from a park that has a lot of homeless people. I wouldn't feel safe walking around here alone at night. Although no one bothered us. The ice machine was also broken.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. It was quiet in the room and I slept well. The pool is great. The staff are helpful and attentive. There was an issue with my room that I discovered after one night and I was moved to another (superior)room immediately without fuss. The restaurant attached to the hotel is marvellous. They do a good, home cooked breakfast, there is also a wide choice for dinner, including some lovely big salads and plenty of veggie options, the staff are friendly and efficient and the beer (from the attached bar) is excellent.

I had read the reviews and understood that it is a while since the rooms in this hotel have been refreshed but actually, for the price it was just great.

We loved that the breakfast vouchers were for “made to order/hot” breakfast- having the restaurant attached was nice so we didn’t have to venture out for food, 24 hour lobby also has a vending machine with a few beverages and salty or sweet snacks. The hotel was located close to our event so we were able to walk, drive, OR Uber accordingly. This had everything we needed for a great price. I loved the free parking, as well. I’ve paid a lot more for hotels that claimed to be nicer that had less amenities— I’m really pleased with Best Western- I’d stay here again!!

We loved everything. If I have to dig deep to nit pick I’d say MAYBE better pillows; but that’s such a personal preference there’s no way you’re going to please everyone when it comes to that- so I’m definitely not complaining.

The stay here exceeded my mother and I’s expectations. Most of everything went well and we enjoyed our stay! Not only that, but we enjoyed the restaurant food at the bar. We also had a good laugh with all the different names of the things on the menu and the name of the restaurant (if I remember right it was called “We Love Your Bum”)! 😆 I even got to try something I’ve never had before, and I loved it! It was a sourdough sandwich with bacon , peanut butter and jelly. It was actually really good!

There were a few things that my and I didn’t like. The biggest complaint we had is Wi-Fi problems that were present from the first day we got there until the morning of the next day. The second problem we had was trying to figure out how to work the television remote which, even after it worked, the second day it didn’t work. The last problem we had was after my mom took a shower, she told me there was no soap, shampoo or conditioner in any of the dispensers in the shower.

The rooms are nice sized and the bed is comfortable. They have upgraded the HVAC unit, it's a little difficult to figure out but once you do it works well. Bathroom has a walk in shower, water pressure could be a little better, but, hey, it's Arizona and they do have a water shortage. Lighting was decent for working. There was plenty of parking and accessing the room was easy. I didn't use the pool but it looked nice. The place is dated, but in a good way and it appears to be well managed and kept up.

The breakfast could be a little better, it's pretty small and the offerings aren't that great but it will get you by for a couple hours. The housekeepers aren't very respectful of the do not disturb sign, so be aware.

The room was very roomy, and we used the living room area as a separate room for some of the family (we had a young baby). The staff was very friendly. It was a great experience and we will be back! The pool was also very clean and great to get into during this awful heat.

The room had some old socks on the side of the bed the weren't ours so that was a bit unnerving. Some of the controls for the bathrooms amenities were finicky and could either use an update or at the very least, a good fixing. We got breakfast tickets for the Cafe next door, the food was good but the woman working there was very rude.

Loved the double room, bed was comfy and the apartment was clean, Angela on reception was very attentive, called twice to make sure that we were happy

Whilst the breakfast food wasn't that bad the restaurant was a bit grubby, we had to ask for cutlery and napkins 5 mins after the food arrived at the table. I understand that for BW the breakfast arrangements are very convenient but I think that your customers wouldn't choose to dine there if given other options

Swimming pool, nice breakfast with hot and cold choices, quiet and effective A/C. Easy access to downtown. Nice restaurant on site. Useful to have separate sink area from rest of bathroom.

No safe for valuables. General area is a little run down.

The room was big and clean, staff was nice. The breakfast was quite good - considering USA standards. Overall a very pleasant hotel experience.

I found the neighborhood surroundings a bit sketchy, but that's not the hotel's fault, it's just the way the city is. Still, it is walking distance from some good restaurants.

This hotel has a free "real" breakfast at the restaurant next door. You order off a limited menu and the chef cooks to order. I tried the biscuits with jalapeno gravy with 2 eggs on the side. Yummy! Such a wonderful change from the usual serve yourself breakfast. The room had a dorm size fridge which was great because we like to make picnic lunches. The hotel person was able to recommend a place for dinner, we went to a Greek restaurant, close by, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. (I am hungry, can you tell?) The hotel room was big and very clean. We did not have maid service, just clean towels, which came promptly.

OMG the sun is so bright in the morning! It woke us up because it streamed in the bathroom window. We had a little confusion when we extended our stay and changed who was paying, but it all got straightened out in the end.
