Loved this hotel! What a great find in Ingelheim. We were staying here because we were attending a motorbike rally across the river in Rudesheim. This really is a family run hotel with a very real family feel, and they have a way of making you feel a part of the family. Tino, the son of the owner, but we were told the 'boss', was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble from giving us directions to the ferry, recommending local places to eat and providing us with milk for our English cuppa! The room was clean, the bed extremely comfortable, the little balcony lovely to sit on in the evening sunshine with a glass of wine and the room had a kettle! The hotel has a sauna (although we didn't use it) and a fridge stocked with a variety of drinks. Parking is ample and free. Tino even gave us the use of a water hose to wash our very dirty motorbike. There is a family run restaurant across from the hotel, very popular with the locals, booking is recommended. The food is a celebration of German cuisine, and very tasty. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and has a great ambiance, our server spoke great English so choosing from the menu wasn't an issue. My favourite part was breakfast! Served in a bright, airy, clean breakfast room with servers to help with drinks and choices. Continental style, self -serve breakfast with lots of choice from fruit, yoghurt, cereals, cold meats and cheese, smoked salmon, lovely breads and waffles and good coffee. We were here for four nights and would have been happy to stay longer.

The hotel is absolutelly fantastic! We had a huge room, an extra living room with a second tv, big bathroom and the balcony was a great bonus. The hotel offers everything you could possibly need- from hair dryer, q-tips, shoe shine, sewing kit, to kettle, tea, slippers, cushions for the seating on the balcony, extra blankets for chilly evenings outside and so on. The beds are really comfy, the sofa and the chairs for reading are great too. The breakfast was lovely and the staff really friendly. We got held up in traffic and were arriving very late, 2 hours after the reception closed for the night, but when i called the hotel, the receptionist was very kind, spoke very good english and left us the keys in the key box outside with an agreed code, so we could get in and into our room without issues. There was enough parking in front of the hotel. Highly recommended and we will be back again when we are in the area. Great value for money. Thanks.

Family friendly hotel located on the peaceful Rheinhessen country side. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, great wines to buy and take home. Recommended for a stopover while crossing Germany -- hotel is conveniently located between the A3 and A61 Autobahn, though returning in Spring or Summer to enjoy the area and the local Rheinhessen wine estates would certainly be great!

The bathrooms are perhaps a bit outdated and in state of repair; the occasional spots of mold are unfortunately there. Charge stations for your car would be a welcome addition to this otherwise great hotel.

The room was very spacious, we had all we needed for a family of 5. The room had a balcony and the hotel surroundings looked super calm and beautiful. The staff was also super kind and helpful.

There was no air conditioning and it was 30 plus degrees outside, but we really didn't need it as the temperature in the room was good enough.

The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Typically, europien hotels don’t provide slippers, so it was a pleasant surprise to find them ready in the room when we arrived. There was a kettle available in the room and there was balcony. The breakfast was tasty and satisfying.

I was a little leery about staying at Fetzer's because none of my colleagues were familiar with the hotel, but when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see how quaint and cute it was. Amazing staff and they prepared my room early so I could check in earlier. The room was amazing and I would stay again. The restaurant across the street was unbelievable, delicious food and a beautiful outdoor patio.

There was nothing that I didn't like

Second time staying here. Everything is as good as you could want. Best of all is the absolute peace and quiet at night. With windows open, not a sound to be heard. Just a few minutes off the R3 bike trail. It is a bett and bike facility.

Was hard to find parking around it. There was also nobody on the reception when we arrived. Neither issues are big, but a bit inconvenient.

Very nice rooms. Nice friendly staff. Cute touches like welcome pastries in your room. Delicious breakfast. Plenty of parking places. Nice gathering areas for family in the lobby and outside.

There were portable air units/fans in the room that helped a little but the room did get very warm.

Excellent village location with easy access via Bingen ferry to Rudesheim. Hotel excellent in a quiet location, with an excellent breakfast where they also catered for my Gluten Free diet.
