The hosts are very kind and taking care of their clients. The swimming pool is a plus on hot days! Excellent breakfast, dinner but amongst all … amazing fresh fruit juices !!! Hot water is available in the room and A/C is working. We do recommend!

The room we received requires a bit of maintenance. The sink pipe was disconnected in the bathroom and all water falling on the ground. We notified, a fix was immediately applied but still a lot of water was leaking down on the floor… but I m sure they will fix it permanently shortly and you don’t have to worry about!

Recently, I enjoyed a refreshing stay at Seyara Holiday Resort. Our room was spotless, the air conditioning was efficient, and a reliable hot shower was always a delight. The pool, well-maintained and inviting, was a go-to for daily refreshment. What truly stood out, though, was the welcoming and polite staff. They consistently went above and beyond, making our stay special. Special mention to Vishva, whose engaging stories brought local culture to life for us. A few minor improvements could be made, but they didn't overshadow our overall experience. Seyara isn't an over-the-top luxury destination, but it’s where you feel truly welcomed. A genuine recommendation for a comfortable and memorable stay!

I had wonderful time hear for 3 days, regret I did not book longer, but had to move on. It is a hotel with 13 rooms, but it feels more like a homestay! Everyone , from the owner and his family to the staff were so friendly and helpful beyond expectations. Amazing hospitality. A place you want to go back to. Everyone seems to enjoy their work. The pools are great, taking great care of . Very clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay an help with renting bikes and bus transport. Hope to see you again😊

The most striking thing about this location is the warm welcome. of course everyone says staff is friendly. This is Sri Lanka. But this family and their staff are is exceptional! Always smiling, always a nice chat, always helpful, they cook the meals (awesome food) you desire, they are kind to wildlife; feeding parrots and squirrels in the garden, they give advice and tips on where to go and … they are good fun (teaching us Singhala even). Also there is the amazing breakfast. Toast, eggs, rotti, hoppers… too much to mention; let alone eat. And then there is the pool! it is so relaxing to dive in after visiting the warm and dusty Polonnaruwa sites. Delicious! In some areas the building and rooms need a little maintenance but nothing a brush of paint or a good cleaning can not help. We enjoyed immensely and thank all at Seraya for the wonderful stay!

The pool was big and clean. The room was big and clean. The staff was incredibly supportive and friendly (e.g. when I left from them they offered me a free ride to the closest bus stop and stopped the right bus for me).

Some of the bad sheets were a bit smelly. I could ask them to be replaced but it wasn't too disturbing for me.

Lovely hotel a little out of town, but no problem, plenty of tuk tuks available. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast great. Beautiful pool to cool off and relax around when not sightseeing. Only stayed one night but would have no hesitation recommending to friends.

We had an amazing stay at Seyara! After a week of travelling this hotel made us so happy! The people were super nice and helpful, the pool was clean and an amazing refreshment after visiting the old town which was only 10 minutes by bike. The hotel is quiet and peaceful and has a cosy, homy athmospere for families, couples, backpackers,… the room was big and clean. I would recommend this place with all my heart.

The Hotel was Clean and nice! We absolutely loved the Pool! The Host was super nice, and gave us some helpful advices. We borrowed Bikes and the Restaurant was good too.

The ac costs 1000 Rupien extra, which seems finde regarding the low price.

Everything was just fine. Nice swimming pool. Super friendly and helpful stuff. Food is tasty. Big breakfast. Location is quite close to the ancient city. Comfortable bed for sleeping, ac, hot water etc

Some parts need renovation. Especially ceiling.

This is a very nice hotel in Polonnaruwa . The location is central and the service is excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful in arranging excursions for us.
