Our stay at the villa on the beach was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The villa itself has an incredible relaxing vibe — beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and with breathtaking beach views that make you feel instantly at peace. The food was exceptional, with a variety of fresh and delicious options that made every meal a pleasure. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile, which made our stay feel truly special. Absolutely Amazing Stay! We had an unforgettable time at Kijani Beach Resort. The whole experience was beyond our expectations — the beautiful rooms, speciálky bathroom is incredible nice, stunning beach, and lovely pool created the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. A huge thank you to Alyia, the wonderful manager, and the entire staff for making us feel so welcome and at home. Everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. This resort is truly a peaceful paradise that lets you enjoy the beauty of Zanzibar away from the crowds of mass tourism. Kijani Beach Villa was a revelation! Ten days of pure bliss in this little corner of paradise created by José, Maarten and their two children. With our feet in the white sand, lulled by the gentle lapping of the waves, we savoured every moment. The turquoise waters and azure skies create an idyllic picture, complemented by the lush vegetation and birdsong. Aliya, the manager, is a ray of sunshine who did everything she could to make our stay even more magical. The staff are attentive, discreet and smiling. The boat trips and activities on offer delighted the whole family. And what about the cuisine? A treat at every meal, thanks to the chef's talent for concocting tasty dishes. An unforgettable stay! Beautiful well designed villa right at the beach with an amazing plunge pool on the roof. Enough sunbeds in sun and shade. Pool is also very nice. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of things to choose from. Liked the fruits, yoghurt and granola. Lunch and dinner very good too at the hotel and there is a small local fish restaurant in walking distance. The manager is really nice. I liked all the African prints of textiles they have and she even arranged a tailor to make a suite for me. Positive is that there are no plastic bottles and with a good extra of free filtered water.

Amazing and peaceful place at a wonderful location, facing the beautiful white sanded beach, including supportive and friendly staff. The private pool at the villa and the shared pool are great and the food is very good

Food (either breakfast or else) is well prepared and a great experience but the preparation takes very long (if the restaurant is full, try to order fast), you have to bring patience Power outages (which should be shortly handled, since the landlord implemented solar panels)

The villas have an interesting architecture; the view over the ocean is magnificent. The personnel is friendly and trying to help.

Unfortunately there was a fire before our arrival but instead of delaying the repairs till after the high season, the establishment had already started the work and there was a lot of noise. The ocean is very dirty (not the establishment’s fault) but no one really wanted to bathe in the ocean and that was quite of a disappointment. The service ( both room cleaning and especially in the restaurant) was extremely slow and inefficient.

Beautiful villa, looks just like the pictures with a beautiful view of the sea from the downstairs bedroom. It's quite unusual to see an accommodation online and for it to look exactly as the pictures depict it. Breakfast was great, nice selection of fruit with the main dish and love that water is freely and readily available. The staff were lovely, accommodating and very friendly.

It was a little hard to find when driving there as maps took us to an incorrect location at first, more signage would be great.

Exceptional - definitely the best accommodation we had in Zanzibar, such a peaceful location and everything was perfect. Breakfast and restaurant service is top notch and good priced (we had lunch, dinner, and drinks many times while there). Hats off to all the staff, especially Aliya our host, who made us feel so welcome from start to end, making sure everything was going well, giving us suggestions during our stay, and answering all our questions.

The breakfsast and the meals in general were very good. The rooms were quite nice. After we came back from our rides the rooms were always cleaned and tidied up with fresh towels and fresh bottles of water. I was overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff there, specially the manager Aliya. She was always asking if everything was ok, if we needed something, etc. She helped us to organize all the tours (with very good suggestions and providing the driver). On our last day, our flight from Zanzibar to Dubai was cancelled due to poor weather conditions in Dubai. So, again, Aliya suggested and helped us to book a flight from Zanzibar to Dar Es Salaam and from there we were able to catch a plane to Dubai the next day.

The beach in front of the hotel is ok for a good walk, but for swimming I would say is not the best one.

The rooms are beautifully styled with local touches, and impeccably maintained. The natural materials add a luxurious yet grounded feel. Staff were exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The restaurant served some of the freshest, most flavorful meals we had in Zanzibar, with an emphasis on local ingredients and oceanfront dining under the stars.
