The staff without doubt make this hotel excellent. Sue is exceptional and we left feeling like family. She couldn’t do enough for us, organised a coach for the festival, such a friendly lovely lady, she deserves a pay rise. Breakfast was organised and everything was replenished quickly! Room was compact but very clean. Bed comfy, shower was lovely.

Small niggles with maintenance, like silicone not applied neatly in the bathroom, tv mounted slightly wonky, radiator cover had dried glue on it . The other niggle was no hairdryer or aircon. I did bring a hairdryer as it wasn’t listed in the room description so no biggie, and we got a fan from reception.

It must be remembered that this is a low budget hotel, it is used by workers who are working away from home, in this event it was no problem and they were not noisy, drunk etc. There is a bar there and very reasonable prices, the staff are helpful, polite and friendly. The cooked breakfast is brilliant value and better than some restaurants we have been in!

I will mention it, however it may have been me not working the controls correctly, there was not a great deal of hot water in the shower in the morning, we were however possibly the last out as the car park was deserted when we came down for breakfast!

Clean, comfy, cosy, homely. Felt completely safe (as a single female visitor) Excellent breakfast in a well presented dining room. 15min walk from train station, approximately 10min to town centre. Reception staff are absolutely delightful and friendly but still professional. Single room was a very good size with a superb bathroom both were spotless. Surprisingly quiet surroundings Exceptional quality at a reasonable price. Bed quite firm but extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend this highly and would have no hesitation in booking again myself.

We really enjoyed our stay and think it's great value for money. It's 3-star hotel and price is affordable so we didn't expect luxury,just a clean, comfortable room with basics and we got it. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. TV working fine. Bathroom also clean with large shower and no issues with hot water. Room service offered on the next day. There is no hair dryer in the room but I was able to get one from the reception. 5 minutes walk to town. Breakfast was nice. We didn't have problem with parking. Reception staff very helpful and friendly.

Everything was great, just two small things: Only two bags of tea in the room and no coffee. Bacon was so salty I couldn't eat it and I like salty food.

Needed a one night stopover for work reasons. Not sure what people expect from a 3 star venue. I'm looking for a quiet room, comfy bed and hot shower. All of those requirements were met. Staff are really helpful. There is some building work going on but only during normal hours. Small car park but there is a larger free car park 50 yards away. The location is behind a row of houses etc but not an issue. Cooked breakfast was all good. It's a B&B hotel, so no lunch or evening food but they are just having a bar installed. Plenty of local food places within walking distance, a Tesco 5 min drive and Uber eats will deliver. I'm gluten free and as long as you notify them in advance they can make arrangements. Met my expectations and I would stay there again.

As others have said, a little shelf in the bathroom would be helpful for putting a wash bag.

For the cost this was good value, you don't get the Ritz at these prices. The room was adequate and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom floor was not brilliant as it was a wet room and the surface was rather rough. However if anyone disabled was using it the access was brilliant. The breakfasr was spot on and cannot be faulted, the staff were capable, friendly and helpful, we will certainly return again!

Not a complaint as such, the access to the hotel in the dark is rather daunting, but when you see the lights it is a welcoming sight!

All of the staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't be more accommodating. Breakfast is cooked to order so takes a little while but is so worth it, everything was cooked to perfection and delivered with a smile. Rooms clean and plenty spacious enough and hand wash / shower gel provided. Location was good and the place was nice and clean

The shower was a little dodgy, water kept cutting out every couple of minutes but it made for an entertaining wash! Parking situation isn't great at busy times but there's plenty of on road parking and a car park a stones throw away so that's not the end of the world. Neither issues that would put me off staying again 😊

We returned to Ebbw Vale for short stay after previously living here. We needed a Hotel that was central, fairly priced and provided a safe, comfortable environment. Level Inn was in every sense, OUTSTANDING!!! The staff:- supportive, super friendly and welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Their approach and attitude was always to ensure their visitors were put first. We both felt the effort applied by every staff member we spoke to was so very very helpful and caring. Room:- very clean and comfortable. We both have ‘bad backs’ so a comfortable bed is essential for us. The bed was exactly that. Very very comfortable and enabled a great nights sleep. We stayed for 3 nights and each was great. The room was warm and the ambiance felt was very pleasant and relaxing. The shower worked well and had the perfect pressure and was easy to use. The room had a TV with a selection of channels. Hot drinks were on offer and the staff always happy to provide more drinks & biscuits, some of us are copious tea drinkers so the endless tea was a great addition to an already wonderful experience. Breakfast. Fully cooked breakfasts with various options such as vegan alternatives, and bigger portions for a minimum extra amount. Very well cooked and attention to detail also applied to how the food was cooked and presented. Yummy!!!! Parking. No issues what so ever. Each time we returned we had a place to park. We felt at ease knowing it was a secure car park all covered by CCTV. Location. Walking distance to the main Ebbw Vale shopping precinct. Plenty of shops and places to eat. Well known shops and local ones offering a choice of all shopping styles. Summary:- a very well priced Hotel with staff who provide a flawless approach to ensure their visitors are happy, looked after and given the best holiday / break experience. Ideal for: EVERYONE. Lastly, I am an exceptionally fussy person who will make a point of moaning if the slightest of things pi88 me off.

the Level Inn was clean and had good facilities what makes it stand out so much is the friendliness of the staff on arrival i was greeted by the cook and she was lovely and very helpful and put my cases in storage for me as i was 5 hrs early for check in after travelling over from Belfast The breakfast was also fantastic especially the upgrade option i would definitely recommend the level inn to anyone and am really looking forward to going there again in a couple of months

Good size room. Clean and comfortable bed! Staff is friendly. There is a bigger car park down the road if the on site car park is full.

The bathroom was a bit small but functional. Adding a desk or a chair to the room would be very good and useful. Breakfast time was busy, making it difficult to find seating. Opening the buffet would be advisable to speed up service during peak hours. Additionally, there was a limited drink selection (just tea and instant coffee), with all juices incurring an extra charge.
