Love everything about the place so quite and relaxed I loved the room except no curtains but explained that below the design of room was great nice size and it was very big

The room was very light a.d they need to put curtains up in the room it had 2 windows one did have blinds and curtains the other just had blinds which when shut didn't keep the light out in the morning which was a pain I put like a bed sheet up the next night amd that was much better but it didn't affect my stay really

I have stayed here a few times and like the decor, the style and location of the property, we stayed for the Christmas Party night, it was good, the food was good and we enjoyed the party atmosphere.

On arrival we were allocated our room, however no electric in the room except for the lights, so we were unable to use hairdryers, charge phones or even have a cup of coffee. We mentioned it at reception, who offered us another room in the coach house, which we eventually accepted. Many more rooms complained of no electric. For us due to the room move did not spoil our stay, although it was a little cold.

What a lovely building inside and out with beautiful gardens too. Cheerful, helpful staff. Our room, in the main Manor House, was comfortable and spacious with wonderful views over the town. The wood pannelled bar was comfortable and as we were the only guests for the first night the lovely receptionist served us. Magnificent fireplaces. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Looked like a beautiful place for an event. Really nice to have great service in a proper hotel.

We were late back the second night and missed the opportunity for a nightcap. Apparently, if we'd known, we could have asked and they would have set it out for us awaiting our return.

Charming Hotel that lends its self to weddings and large events. The outside space is worth a bimble, the hotel commends a prominent position with stunning views down the valley toward the bridge. The staff were great but perhaps a little stand off due to their junior years compared to my senior years. Dinner was fantastic, high caliber dining and not overly priced. Breakfast was better, set me up for the whole day.

The hotel is a bit dated and bit tired. I stayed in a room in one of the outer buildings, possibly a former stable. The room was small and cramped with little light but sufficient for one night. The price reflected the room and I have no complaints.

Room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good All staff were excellent, the reception staff, bar/restaurant staff, cleaners. But a special mention to the man who was on reception in the evening. We didn’t get his name but he had dark hair, glasses and a beard! He was so helpful, professional and a genuinely lovely guy.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like, just a couple of little niggles. For example the light above the bathroom mirror didn’t work. But that’s all really.

Having been to many functions at the hotel I had always wanted to stay there. The hotel receptionist was very welcoming, the room was very good, ideally I would have loved a room looking over the lovely gardens at the front but I was happy given the exceptional price that I paid.

Having, literally, just being there to sleep there wasn't anything that I didn't like.

I liked everything lovely welcome when we arrived, we had the family room very spacious with a big bathroom with a bath, plenty of hot water, there was kettle, tea, coffee biscuits in the room, we were going out for the evening so we didn't eat there, we decided to stay another night, but the family room was booked so we moved to a double room which was done very quickly within half hour, another great room, also had a bath, yes i like my baths, & this one had a beautiful view of the gardens, plenty of parking space, nice helpful staff, comfortable beds, wonderful stay.

Staff were very helpful and pleasant even though they were very busy getting ready for a wedding on the saturday. Cooked Breakfast was really nice, plenty of choice to choose from. Views were stunning, we were. Moved after the 1st night as our mattress was not very comfortable and the room was very small hovever the 2nd nights stay was exceptional, the room was stunning and we both had a very good nights sleep.

The 1st night in the small room and not much sleep due to the mattress but this was rectified the next morning.

The view was amazing, and the staff were great.

First room things missing eg. Draw handle missing wasn't very clean, door in hall banging till 4am then again at 7am and hoovering at 7.30am. We was moved rooms the next day. Second room very unclean, bed base broken TV not working tiny room for the price we paid.

Breakfast was excellent value, very large welsh breakfast portion, 2 sausages, 2 rashers of good bacon black pudding and hash browns, poached egg on request. Dinner was lovely, I had a home made pie. Both of us had home made soup (butternut squash) and roll. Bar staff very friendly and attentive, very well mannered.

No problems really, much nicer than a chain, lovely building. Some information in the room, menus meal times etc. would be nice.
