The helpfulness of the staff was second-to-none. Sara, who served us in the restaurant was beyond impressive in delivering excellent customer service, and made the visit for us. Aaron on check-in also went above and beyond in dealing with our request for another room. An efficient and friendly check-out with Christie, all made for a pleasant visit. The location is lovely, but it is the pleasantness and the professionalism of the staff that make the place!

The steps. Stairs and steps everywhere! Perhaps a walkway of some description near the entrance? Not everyone is fully mobile. Also softer lighting in the conservatory area for evening dining. Was very bright.

Staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. Couldn't have been better. Leisure facilities were very good and a real bonus. The availability of parking was great, as were the location and views. Breakfast team were fab too. Beats any of the usual business trip options hands down.

Very minor but details matter. There were no USB points and the bedside lamp sockets were not traditional plugs. So your phone must be charged at the other end of your room. So, no evening scrolling, checking time or handy answer of calls. Plus the morning scramble to turn of the alarm. Similarly, no remote for tv. So as you are drifting off to sleep, it's a get up and cross the room to turn it off. 1st world problems, I know. But it did affect my get to sleep routine and could be solved with adding 1 simple socket. Otherwise, zero complaints and good value at the current rate.

This is the second time I have come to the resort to stay whilst working. The hotel is blissfully quiet, the rooms are large and comfortable, the pool and leisure facilities are perfect with dim lights which is soothing and relaxing. Great choice of food from menu, and bar drinks inexpensive, plus free parking. By far the best value compared to other resorts in south wales. Most importantly Arron on front desk is so exceptional at his job, both professional and friendly. I have recommended to others and will certainly be returning.

The breakfast room is a little quiet with no music, and the seating is a little awkward when many dinning alone.

Room was excellent, beds extremely comfortable, towels and complimentary tea/ coffee/ biscuits serviced daily. Easy to adjust temperature/ ventilation, lovely to have patio door out onto outside patio area. Good shower/ plenty of hot water

Breakfast/ dinner service could have been better. Food itself was good but dinner a little overpriced for 'pub food'. Hot cooked breakfast brought out on two mornings before we had finished our cereal with nowhere to put plates on the table. Waiting staff standing there holding the plates expecting us to make room on the table for them but then also did not take empty plates away. Tea/ coffee complimentary at breakfast but had to pay extra for hot chocolate (given I was travelling with my son who does not drink tea/ coffee- I thought the extra charge was unwarranted)

The room was very clean and spacious, with a beautiful sitting area outside

I informed the hotel my wife was gluten and dairy free well in advance of our visit, But the breakfast that was included I wouldn't feed to my worst enemy, it was disgusting which put a massive dampener on our stay and staff didn't listen to our concerns, that was first morning and on second morning they made my wife scrambled eggs again and my wife informed she was dairy and gluten free but they still put milk in with the eggs, as it was obvious staff didn't have a clue what they were doing as my wife had only one mouth full which later on that day caused serious stomach upset, very poor service. No one seemed to care

I'd love to THANK the receptionists a LOT because on the day we were supposed to arrive, our kitten got ill. Receptionist managed to book us in on another day without any charge!! Swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna was the best thing. Amazing room view and beautiful scenic location. Perfect for golfers. Got good gym facilities. Good service at breakfast, senior waitress was amazing. Also receptionist was top notch. I love how the room has a balcony or patio outside where you can sit and get some fresh air. Comfy pillow, bedding.

I have dust allergies so I didn't like the carpet in the room, made it feel outdated, old, and dusty (good thing we could open windows). Air con was on auto, but would have preferred a manual one. Slightly pricey I'd say.

I like this hotel a lit however this time again my room was great but woke up in morning amd when I opened my patio doors there was white dust all outside and footprints which for a female on my own was concerning spoke to staff which didn't know anything about it and said no one should if been around that area did make me feel anxious also the lady on reception give me the wrong time for the pools closing time so I missed this and this is one of reasons I go to this hotel is to use the facilities so I was disappointed that I couldn't do this I had to go at half 6 in morning if I wanted to go which I didn't really want to go at that Time

Chose for our daughter's wedding Stunning location with beautiful views Comfortable rooms with HUGE comfy bed The restaurant was relocated because of a refurb but the alternative facilities were superb and the food was delicious. The staff were all amazing, special thanks to Jake and Lara LOTS of very young, new staff members who were managed well by seniors

The design of the bath tubs do not allow a lie down to relax and soak No chairs to sit in outside our room for the view over the golf course but there were at others We weren't warned about the restaurant refurb before our visit

Stayed 2 .nights, hotel staff are professional and helpful, room was a little small but really comfortable, breakfast was lovely, everything you could need was available, I didn't use the spa but friends said it was very good

Nothing to dislike, everything was really good, maybe a small fridge on the room would be good for water etc, there is nothing else, no complaints from us

Perfect location for a lovely weekend away with everything you could want spa treatment /facilities. restaurant bar etc Very friendly staff at reception /Spa reception. Server in restaurant on first night was very helpful ,friendly and nothing was to much trouble for her.(my partner had a cake with happy birthday on what a lovely touch so thoughtful).

Pool facilities- could do with an upgrade flaking paint and dirty /scruffy in some areas. Table server on second night- felt like we were being rushed . Would have given 10 if wasn't for the 2 things above .
