The hotel has a really nice vibe, breakfast was delicious and the staff were lovely and helpful. When we arrived we were also upgraded to a king which was lovely.

There was a young girl at the front desk that was a bit rude, we thought maybe she was a trainee? We hadn't been here before and we needed our parking ticket validated, they do this when you check in and then you pay the next day when you check out. She walked off with an attitude and mumbled something about "how am I supposed to know what you want me to do with your ticket when you just put it down in front of me" maybe ask? They hold a £50 charge on your card and you have to pay to park. Apart from this we had a really nice stay. I would also recommend booking the pool before checking in, maybe the day before. We arrived and there were only two slots left and they were too late for us.

Bed was very comfortable, had breakfast included and the variety was good. Had Dinner at the restaurant on first night was lovely , food was amazing and so was the atmosphere, service was slow .

Complimentary body wash is small bottle and not enough for 2 people . Asked for extra and had to give explanation why another was needed. Didnt bother asking again as felt awkward since front desk was not as friendly. Also front desk was poor in explaining the Car Parking charges, we had to ask 3 times to understand it fully . The room has no slippers included and no fridge either. No complimentary water was provided in the room either. Bathroom is lovely and big however the wardrobe is in the bathroom and we had half a toilet roll when we arrived. To go swimming, had to book a time slot via the QR code , how ridiculous so we didnt bother . Not a 4 star service or hotel that you would pay for, we had better. Would not stay there again.

Loved the 2 double beds in the room and the bed was very comfortable. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. We attended The Prat Pack event at the ICC and was pleasantly surprised by the shuttle bus service offered. Very welcomed service ☺️

Pillows in the room were awfully lumpy and couldn't get comfortable with them at all. In the bathroom, the shower had a spot light directly above your head. I could see stars after having the shower for about 15 minutes, which isn't good for anyone who suffers with migraines like me. Would recommend just disconnecting that spotlight asap.

On arrival we wore greeted with frendly and polite receptionist Barbara who give us all information which we need for our stay, and abgrade our room to bigger room with two king size beds big bathroom and garden view, check in was quick and pleasant us I paid online, at the lobby area was frendly atmosphere life music so we order few snacks and drinks and had enjoyable evening, next day breakfast hour's was suitable for everyone we didn't have to rush to dining room was enough time to eat and relax,food teast great and fresh choice of Continental or English breakfast good selection of diry free milk,yogurt for those who need it,very nice decor of dining room and spacious. After breakfast we all enjoyed swimming session and spa which we book day before with receptionist and was free for guests, we also arange late check out which give us extra time to enjoy our self's. All staff was frendly very welcoming after check out we stayed for a nice cup of coffee at the lobby. Children will miss fishes at the pond and swimming pool lthey love to stay longer at Coldra Court Hotel. There are another activity's for children which we didn't use us we only stayed 1 night.🙂

We wore litle bit supposed for the price for car park 12£ for 1 nights.

Stayed for an overnight trip. The check in process was simple and when we got to the room it was lovely. The bathroom was very nice and had all the essentials for our stay. The bed was comfortable and a good size. Air conditioning in the room definitely helped with the hot weather outside. We used the spa during our trip and we were impressed by the facilities available. Prior booking also meant it wasn't too busy.

Although breakfast was an overall good experience, some of the food had been left in the hot plates too long and had become overcooked.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The location was great for the ICC where my daughter was competing. The hotel had a nice feel about it, and was relaxing and comfortable. Nice sized rooms, with good facilities.

Certainly parts of the room were a little tired such as sofa and bathroom finishing. It could be a little noisy at night, there seemed to be a function going on with music and people going back to rooms late talking loudly. I think due to the open and voluminous spaces and corridors noise echoed a lot. Not sure what they could do about that and wouldn't stop me staying here again.

Everything. Price, ambiance, room, bed comfortable, shower powerful and lovely wash stuff, breakfast delicious and vast options, it just got better and better. It’s even got a pool. 9.99/10 just a few really minor niggles.

Being really picky; parking was £12 which I thought was excessive. The receptionist booked a table in the restaurant which didn’t go through then the same thing happened with the parking. (This did not actually affect my experience as it turned out, but could have)

the restaurant was absolutely brilliant nice food and the service was top notch the sauna and pool was very good the room was perfect

the check out was as i was charged double for parking this was quickly rectified however i have been charged for everything and paid obviously at checkout then after checking my bank balance few days later i found they also took out the £50 holding fee/deposit ,although i paid the outstanding bill at checkout .............. after a phone call and call back i was told could take up to 10days to show back in my account ....never had this at the Celtic manor and stayed there over 15 times in the past with the same set up ..

The size of the room, the bed was comfortable and bathroom was lovely plenty of storage options.

My room wasn't cleaned regardless having a please service my room on the door, which wasn't major was more for a fresh towel and tea/milk. Mirrors did have clear marks on them in bathroom from toothpaste spit marks but that was only issue with cleanliness the rest was lovely so just a small oversight. When staying for more then a night a fridge in the room would be beneficial. For the price I would expect a mini fridge in the room to keep drinks cool or food fresh.

The hotel was booked due to running the Newport marathon. On arrival we were upgraded to a king suite. A travel cot was provided for our 9 month old baby. The reception team were very welcoming and accommodating at all times. Every member of staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel was very busy but nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were excellent and used the spa which was more than expected in terms of what was on offer. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here with a family.
