The room was clean, the bed was soft - the pillow were hard as nails.... I wish the window opened wider as we - the dog and I were very hot - aircon would have been a blessing. I was welcomed by the guy when I checked in and pretty much ignored by the chap who took over from him. I am a woman on my own walking my dog out at 10.30 and worried about who is out there. I asked him to make sure I returned. He was not evident when I did. I could have been raped and strangled and left for dead and no-one would have noticed. You need better protection and awareness for lone women who ask to be counted. He ignored it. He was not English - the guy who booked me in was. I would have trusted him better to note my return.

as above - he was not English and had no regard for an English woman with a dog out walking in the dark (because we have to) He was not there when I returned - the shutters (although clear) were drawn over the desk and he was not evident. He had not idea if i had come back in and likely didn't care. although I had asked him to make sure that I returned. I did not feel safe or cared about. It needs to change.

Really appreciated the flexible check-in and convenient location. My partner and I were traveling to Haverfordwest after work on a Friday, and this hotel was the perfect halfway stop from London. Being right at the service station meant we didn’t need to go out of our way or add any extra miles to our journey. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, even though we arrived quite late. It was exactly what we needed after a long day — simple, comfortable, and convenient. Great value for a travel stopover. Would definitely stay again if we’re doing the same route!

One thing I didn’t like was that I thought breakfast was included in the price, but it wasn’t. You have to pay extra for it. That said, they do offer a discounted rate for breakfast at the service station, which was a helpful touch. Overall, a solid stopover and good value for a night’s rest during a long journey.

Rooms were a bit dated but very clean and great value for money so we didn't expect 5 star accommodation for the price we paid we were actually pleasently surprised.the rooms were very hot but we did ask at reception for a fan and they brought one straight away.staff were absolutely fantastic anything we needed they got for us straightaway they went above and beyond and couldn't have asked for more.

Just the rooms being too hot even though we had a fan which did help a bit but it was still hot so struggled to sleep sometimes.i like being cooler though so I think its just personal preference others might like it really warm so it's not a bad thing.

Everything. Fantastic value for money. Perfectly located for us, easily accessible straight off the M4 and then straight back on again - no having to negotiate complicated roundabouts etc. Free parking, WiFi, flat screen TV, large comfortable room (we had a family room for just 2 of us). Large bathroom with shower and bath, very clean. Tea and coffee making facilities. Also in reception there were tea and coffee top ups and a microwave - very thoughtful. Breakfast to the value of £10.00 could be purchased with vouchers costing £7.50pp and redeemable at the onsite food outlets. A 24 hour McDonalds and 24hr Smiths meant that you could get pretty much anything at any time.

Nothing we were pleasantly surprised.

There was adequate parking right in front of of the entrance. Disabled parking was closest and even though shared with the service station there was still plenty of spaces. The staff were very helpful especially in explaining where the bathroom light switch was because for the first night I couldn’t find it and had to sleep with it on (including the fan). As an idea, because they do make attention to how to activate the electrics for the room by sliding the key fob into the slot, why not have a mock up on the front desk to demonstrate and which would also highlight where the bathroom and main room light switch are?? Just an idea. Incidentally, the shower was awesome!!

I had no major issues, anything I did have was sorted quickly and politely.

We stay here all the time, yes rooms a little dated but great value for money pet friendly and staff are just full of typical welsh friendliness, the only problem is thi when it's events such as rugby as with other hotels the prices tripple, we need to come to view our new house this and evey other hotel has trippled in price! I don't want to watch the rugby!! Other than this it's a great cheap friendly place to stay

Car park can be noisy but its a motorway services so it's to be expected

A lovely bunch of staff and told us to just ask if we needed anything we took 3 mini dashunds and it was there first holiday they made a fuss of the dogs and we're so helpful with questions on outings ,the rooms were comfy clean and even though it's a dog friendly place we know the dogs were a bit barky at times they were fine and we're made to feel very welcome thankyou staff and management you made a dogs holiday special

The Receptionist was very helpful, friendly and welcoming as you would expect. It's a hotel on a Motorway service's (if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs) it was clean & tidy. It had extra pillow's if you needed them, a variety of tea bags and coffee, so you can make it in your room, a hair dryer (we didn't use it) free WiFi, free overnight parking, bottled water, the hand soap and body wash in the bathroom were surprisingly nice, didn't dry your skin out. There is the food court right next door (M's is 24/7) you can eat in or take away. We had Vegan breakfast burgers from Leon, we've never tried Leon before, they did the job. WHSmith, Costa there were some smaller food stands just outside, however we got in late Saturday & left early Sunday so they weren't open. There's plenty of options for everyone.

Some of the small Children who were staying, were running up and down the hallway late in the evening.

Great location when we head down to race as the track is 5 mins away staff are super friendly and helpful espeically when my baby became poorly and needed to attend the local hospital. The fan in the room was a godsend as the weekend was so warm and the room was very warm, we have stayed here a couple of times now when racing and will be back again in future.

This is not the first time my family and I have stayed at this hotel (10+ nights totally), and we always feel comfortable and relaxed. A quiet place (at least when the windows overlook the backyard), excellent value for money, but most importantly - the staff! All of these lovely ladies are very polite and friendly, caring and exceed expectations. I feel like a very welcome guest, as if I came to visit my relatives :) We would love to stay here again.
