Everything from the staff, facilities and breakfast.

Only little gripe I had was that there was no privacy using the bathroom in our room. Glad it wasn't a 1st date!!

A very modern, high tech, newish (looking) hotel staffed by helpful, young people. The locale position is unappetising as it is within an industrial estate with views to a busy flyover and a range of giant warehouse buildings. Check in is computer complex, but staff are around to assist, which they do with charm. The rooms are adequately sized and stuffed full of gizmos, most of which are welcome: aircon, a very large TV with SKY, comfortable super king size bed and a whizz-bang bathroom. Misses a few comfort touches, however, e.g. tissues, safe and tooth mugs. Also, we found the housekeeping to be haphazard, although the management resolution of it was speedy. Great shower, but it floods (#226). Breakfast was exemplary. Plentiful, thoughtfully (veggies not despised in this hotel-yippee) varied and high quality ingredients. Lots of free car parking, but fellow users were dangerously wacky in speed terms. Overall verdict? Verging on the excellent and, with a touch more attention detail, will get there, deservedly. Shame about the position tho'.

Gym hours need to be extended. Check in is only for the techy brave. The car park needs better policing. Housekeeper training requires review. Has a pool, but couldn't use it. Don't know why.

We were very impressed with the room size and how quiet the rooms were. We didn't have breakfast but we did have lunch which was good value. There is also a well known coffee shop inside the building. The pool was a very good length with sauna, jacuzzi & steam room. Again at £5 extra per room very good value.

Nothing at the hotel but it is a good 30 min walk to Filton station. There is a bus stop close by to take you into Bristol but worth noting they do not run after a certain time at night so you need to come back by train. Also worth knowing that there is no taxi rank outside Filton station. A long way to walk if the weather is bad.

Great hotel, modern rooms with Espa toiletries, big double bed and all that you need. Village hotels tend to be located in convenient geographical locations for travel - not so good for alternative dining / bar - however, they all have a very nice, large and lively bar & restaurant with sports on tvs. Also a Starbucks on site. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again - the staff were super friendly & helpful, atmosphere was good in the bar & the overall experience is very positive.

Bar & food prices - inflated vs usual prices. Bar and restaurant staff were great - just frustrating that the prices were that good bit more expensive than they needed to be.

So very modern, love how much there is to do, rooms are compact but plenty of room, unique bathroom, had light up mirror for shaving, and had a light on the floor that automatically comes on when you go in, saves being blinded in the middle of the night. Shower was huge, also had a Dyson hair dryer in the room which massively surprised us. Tv very easy to use with so many channels, bed nice and big and very comfy. Hotel has so much going on, we only stayed one night so didn’t get to try anything but will definitely be back.

The shower was very very slippery, needs a gripping mat.

Room was spacious and bed was comfy. This hotel have a nice Bar and a Starbucks inside the hotel too as well. Ideal for families and prices are very reasonable as this hotel is very great. Best Option for people visiting Bristol, Cotswolds and Bath which all can be done in a day trip but you need to have your own car. Plenty of Parking just get your

The location was a bit off for me as its far from city Centre and there is no any good restaurant options nearby. So you need to have your own car to travel around as i didn't see any public transport nearby. otherwise Our stay was good.

The hotel is very close to the M4 and has a huge parking space so it's perfect if you are travelling by car, you don't need to worry if there is gonna be enough space. It also has a Starbucks and a great pub (where the food is delicious) in the lobby. The room was very nice, clean, modern look, a good size and the bed was comfortable. The staff all throughout the hotel were very nice and helpful. If I am going in this direction I will definitely stay there again. PS: There is a gym and a pool for which you pay extra, so you know.

If you are going to Bristol, it is quite far from the centre if you are not with a car. If you are with a car, it's perfect - 20 minutes away and a lot of parking options around Bristol centre.

Great staff. Friendly, informative, polite and efficient. Great greeting at check in. Nice bedrooms, good bedding . Lounge/bar area is comfortable and cosy. Free parking for weekend guests.

Showers need a door. Ours flooded the bathroom floor. It took a long time to dry out even after I mopped the floor with a towel. Soundproofing internally is poor. Noise levels from other rooms is loud. Better choice of the tea and coffee supplies. Eg decaf options and low cal sweetener as well as sugar could be supplied.

Very well kept, from the gym to the poolside area, and the restaurant to the lift. My room, was immaculate with staff to hand at all times. After a long tiring day starting with a long drive. Tom (receptionist) made my stay exceptional. He handled all my affairs with a smile and professionalism other hoteliers could learn a lot from, of course I will be returning. I attempted to rebook tonight. However, the village was fully booked - no surprise. Not a single bad word to say. Tom, keep up the good work and I hope they promote you one day.

Absolutely nothing. Checked in extremely late and it wasn’t a problem.

Really nice stay for the purpose of going to the rugby in Cardiff. Really comfy bed, tv nice, room generally nice, perhaps a little small. Bar and restaurant were good, and breakfast was also good. No real complaints.

Paid to use the gym next morning, but didn't notice the times of use for hotel guests. Although it's a 24 hour gym, guests can only use it after 8am. Had a bit of a time constraint for my long run so ended up going out and about to do it. Would be nice for the opening hours to be a bit longer!
