The service Piotyr and Matthew were great in ensuring I had a meal regarding my intolerance to gluten and dairy.

1- we had to be given another room due to a tool box and drill sitting there when we entered! 2- tv in our room did not work all the time, seemed like a loose connection. 3- given wrong information regarding correct place to get a bus into the city centre. We were told 10 minutes walk however it turned into 30 minutes due to my wife’s hip problem. A map of the area with bus information would be handy as on the way back to the hotel we passed bus stops closer. There would not have been a problem accessing even with road works. Member of staff said “uber it”!

Plenty of parking, reasonably priced £5 per day, easily accessible coming off the motorway, ten minute walk to local Tesco express and bus service into the city centre. Front of house staff and breakfast hosts were all welcoming. Great selection for breakfast and seating availability. Rooms are ok, bathroom could do with being updated, maybe walk in showers similar to the Newcastle branch as well as their toiletries.

There’s a lovely lake around the back of the hotel but it was covered in what’s probably dog/fox and rabbits mess, wasn’t able to enjoy the outside space. Also, the gym opens later on a weekend which clashed with their breakfast times, wasn’t able to have a workout I planned during my visit.

Without exception, absolutely lovely, friendly staff - especially in the restaurant, on reception, and at the pool. Spotless room, peaceful, quiet, top floor with comfy bed, and snack tray on arrival. Air con pretty good, too. Nice bathroom with great shower. Lovely bar with dining space and impressive treatment of allergies. Lovely decor throughout. Thanks for rescuing my keys when I was so tired I dropped them and didn't even notice! Nice breakfast options too. Cracking sauna and loved having the pool to ourselves on a Saturday afternoon as well. What a treat!

I'd love to see recliners by the pool rather than chairs. I'd also love to see more TLC shown to the grounds where the ponds are - could be such a beautiful space!

The staff were just 100% every one of them so so lovely and kind to my children. They made our stay wonderful and will be back again. We had dinner in the restaurant and was super yummy but a little on the expensive side for us but happy the kids got to eat free so that made up for it. My little boy locked his Teddy (kenny)in the safe and he couldn't remember the code, lovely lady came to rescue the Teddy who was also very lovely and chatty to my 6 year old which made his day.

I actually can't say I didn't like anything... actually the pillows on the bed were a rather uncomfortable but the bed was lovely, room and Hotel fabulous.

I got a paid upgrade after an email offering me the option. The room was very clean and well appointed. Bathroom was spotless. On arrival which was after 6 hr journey, I met Kavin I think his name was . A beaming smile and a really good welcome. I immediately felt comfortable with choosing to stay there. He also helped me with a few bits and pieces like car parking when I landed and taxis the following morning . A great advertisement for your company.

The car park machine to register and pay was a bit tiresome. But your colleague helped me immediately.

This is a fantastic hotel that exceeded all expectations, especially for the price. We used it as a place to stay on the way to Devon so its location for that was fantastic but would stay again to visit Bristol as what you save on accommodation is worth it for the short journey in to the city centre Clean and comfortable with nice additions like snacks and drinks and a pool and sauna.

If I changed one thing it would be that parking is free. Its only £5 which is lots cheaper than city centre but there is plenty of land and space so the charge didn't seen necessary

the hotel had been recently renovated and it’s clean and modernly decorated. We have 2 kids and they absolutely love the pool, clean, large and warm. they have a nice gym, sauna and changing room. the pool is open until 7:30pm on the weekends so we managed to use twice on the weekend. the staff is really lovely, especially in the reception and in the pool. they are accommodating and helpful, we managed to do a late check out so the kids could enjoy more the pool. the bedroom has a good size, nice bathroom with a bath and good shower, loved that they offer Dove shampoo and shower gel and the bed was super comfortable, I would say almost better than my own bed!

we were not very lucky with our dinner choices in the restaurant. they food is average and I would skip dinner in the hotel and go out instead. the breakfast is decent, but it’s better for those who enjoy a full English, not my case I prefer a continental breakfast but there is little choice.

The Staff was absolutely friendly and made my kids welcome to, normally some places don't like kids playing around but the Filton Hotel made them so welcome, best hotel I've been to and I've been to a few! Every staff was always smiling and happy we just felt so comfortable here a night wasn't enough we wish we booked for longer. I loved how they had a swimming pool in the hotel so we didn't have to get cold coming out of the pool, and only had to walk out of our hotel room to have breakfast and dinner. we had a lovely time here, we'll definitely be visiting again, they even had shops about 3 minutes down the road which was a bonus. The room was stunning, even the cleaning ladies was happy and very lovely it was so nice of them to give my children crisps, biscuits and chocolates, we even had bottles of fresh water in the fridge, and a bath in the room which was a bonus for having children.

There wasn't anything to dislike everything was perfect!

From the moment we arrived, we received exceptional service from Naima and everyone we met. The interior of the holiday inn throughout was stylish and modern, very clean and of high standard. Very comfortable beds and pillows, made for 2 great nights sleep. We booked half board for 2 nights. The food was high quality, and really nice and Matthew and Suri delivered top service. It included a 3 course meal each night too. Breakfast was self service buffet style which was unlimited and catered for everyone and cooked really well. We didn't use the pool or gym whilst there, but others had mentioned how nice and warm the pool was. Our room had a mini fridge stocked with water and plenty of a variety of teas and coffees, crisp and chocolate which was replenished during our stay and the bathroom was stocked with Dove shampoo, conditioner and shower lotion. Hot water readily available too and nice powerful shower, over the bath. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The reason for my trip was of a medical nature, and what made it less stressful for me was the personal customer service I received (from Matthew and Naima) who booked my public transport for me to ensure I would get to my appointments on time with their kindness and local knowledge.

There was nothing to fault.

The hotel was being renovated. The 60 (premium) rooms that were available had recently been renovated and were very clean. I was topped up with free snacks each day of my 4 day stay there (apparently not a usual thing, but offered due to the ongoing renovation). The staff were super friendly! And the fitness centre was a huge plus! A gym, sauna and decent sized swimming pool (available to all Holiday Inn guests). For me, having traveled my car, the parking directly outside the hotel was great news! Not bad at £5 per 24 hours.

The lighting! Seems to be a theme at hotels in general…dim lighting!
