Lovely comfortable flat in St.Pauls near to Cabot Circus and all of central Bristol attractions. Welcoming bottle of wine and great attention to detail.

The only very minor things were 1. An old poly cotton bobbly sheet on master bed - didn’t seem to fit with standard of rest of property ( expected good quality cotton) and was not particularly comfortable to sleep on 2. The curtain poles in living area need attention they are lopsided - because not properly secured?

We travel a lot and we used to be AirBnB Superhosts (before we started traveling) and we felt that this apartment was a definite 10! The beds are large and comfy, the furnishings are tasteful, and there were some nice touches by the hosts. They kindly left us a bottle of wine to enjoy, and there were enough coffee pods for us all to have a couple of cups of coffee before having to head out to buy more. Everything was spotless in the apartment and there was a handy guide to the flight and surrounding area. We didn't do much cooking while we were there, but I checked the kitchen and it seemed like all of the pots and pans you would need to make a nice meal were there. If you are there at the weekend you can park just around the corner for free from 5pm on Friday until Monday morning. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely be happy to stay here again!

The location is great. A couple of minutes walk to Cabot circus and the the shops. The flat was clean and had most of what we needed for a comfy stay. Having bathrobes was a nice touch of luxury. There was a comfy lounge area with two sofas, a tv and a dining table. I would definitely stay here again.

There wasn't much cutlery. The water didn't stay in the bath. There was a plug-in air-freshener which gave me a headache until I turned it off (not very allergy-friendly). We weren't given any bin bags which made emptying the rubbish difficult and we had to use carrier bags (which now cost 30p!) for bin liners as we didn't have anything else. The flat is in the centre of town and was quite noisy at the weekend. This didn't bother us, but might not suit everyone.

Love the layout of the apartment, the decor and the convenience of the location. The layout is neat. The place is clean and well stocked with condiments and kitchen items. There’s even a First Aid kit available. The decor is simple and tasteful. It’s a short walk to Cabot Circus and bus stops so we were able to get to places easily. The apartment was on the ground floor which was convenient.

Portland View is a perfect place to stay to discover Bristol. Everything we needed was provided and there was a folder that gave us information about the hosts and their apartment.

The flat was lovely , clean and modern and well equipped.

I was surprised to get an message on our last day telling us to strip the beds. We did strip them , but considering the cleaning fee was £90 and we only stayed 2 nights we thought that the request was a bit cheeky.

Quite an interesting location, but less attractive than others in the city.

There were a few maintenance issues that I reported at the end of the stay for future action (though nothing that prevented us from using the facilities.) The heating system produced water that was extremely hot. The boiler was on constantly which was rather noisy during the night. A timer might improve this?

Lovely and clean. Good size. Quiet so slept well. Beds comfortable. Kitchen fitted with all essentials. Well positioned for visiting shops and quayside and getting to other locations around Bristol was easy. Fantastic base. Hosts very helpful in answering questions.

The apartment is a reasonable size, well equipped and was extremely clean. The owners even left a complimentary bottle of prosecco which was much appreciated. Our stay was on a weekend and we easily found free, safe parking for our car at the rear of the property as advised by the owners. The apartment was also in a brilliant location for shopping, restaurants and bars.
