Our booking was transferred to The Grand Hotel. The beds were super comfortable. Firm , which is my preference . The location of the Grand was very good. Close to the harbourside and not far from the shops etc. Easy check in. We arrived 1pm and all 3 rooms were ready. Check out is 12pm which is great.

The bedside tables consisted of a high shelf type thing one side and a tall stool the other side. There is no wardrobe just some hanging space which is over the kettle and cups etc which just doesn't work especially if you have something long to hang up. 1 night stay was fine.

very functional hotel. we stayed when life still had not opened up fully. had a late check in, room was ok, little tired. minimum staff around, the hotel was being painted so lots of areas with wet paint. Breakfast was ok... we all had to sit in the dark for some reason. help yourself buffet was alright. this hotel served a purpose, had we been visiting for a weekend I would have felt disappointed.

the flowerbed containers out the front were full of dead plants. its the first thing you see when you enter the hotel.

Perfect location, right next to bars and restaurants. Room was spacious and clean, plus the bed was very comfy. The staff were lovely and helpful, plus they upgraded us on arrival so we had a room overlooking the harbour.

We stayed during one of the hottest weekends of the year and found the air con in the room was pretty poor so we had to have the window open all night which meant it was a little noisy early in the morning. Also the water pressure in the shower wasn't great and the room could've done with a full length mirror. Other than that, it was a perfect stay!

Fantastic location, really central and near lots of bars, restaurants and attractions. Staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed in a privilege room which was nice and big. The bed was huge and comfortable. There was a large shower with choice of rainfall or hose. The building itself is really beautiful.

The car park was really tight and I don't even have that big a car. We kept finding bits of stick on body jewellery around the room which would suggest it hadn't been cleaned as thoroughly as it should have been.

Room was of an excellent size and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and able to accommodate me when I had an online meeting prior to my official check in time. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The location was superb on the side of the river and close to the station as well as sights of Bristol such as Queen Square and the cathedral and university. The area was good for restaurants and bars.

The staff were incredible, Mandy on reception and Lee in maintenence made my stay!. So attentive and helpful, accommodating me every day and nothing was ever too much trouble. I can't wait to come again, I won't stay anywhere else now such an amazing team so very friendly and kind what brilliant customer service. Thank you!! Jodie

Great location, great staff, clean, nice size room. Great low price, parking just around the block in the multi storey

No air con on room and window only opened about 6 inches (to stop people falling out, which is understandable). It got very hot in there and was difficult to sleep at night.

Super friendly accommodating reception team. Lovely clean comfortable room on waterfront, great view! Decent breakfast lovely staff. Perfect location, great comfortable room, very good price for what is on offer. Will be back! Thank you!

Excellent location and very reasonably priced parking for 24 hours (£15).

The room had everything we need. Only thing I would say is that drinks at the bar were very expensive. Didn’t eat so unsure what the restaurant is like.

The air conditioning wasn't working. This seemed to be a known issue affecting all rooms. We were given a fan which was good, but I didn't get the feeling the issue was been fixed any time soon!
