Room was great, spacious with a fantastic view. The location was central with amazing food stalls a 5 min walk away. We stayed for 2 nights and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was a buffet style and very well cooked and with a wide range of choices. We are definitely returning again!!

The security guard knocked the door and said a complaint had been made regarding loud music coming from my room. I went to the front desk to ask if anyone near me was experiencing a relapse in their mental heath as I was concerned that they may be in distress. It turned out that no complaint had been made but that the guard had walked past and heard my phone playing some music. The front desk staff were very accommodating and reassured me that everything was ok.

Warm, clean, a comfy bed, very good price

My family stayed in a different room. They had bottles of water in their room. I didn't. They were offered a complimentary drink each. I wasn't. Why was that? Shouldn't all guests receive the same courtesies? The spinning wheel at reception should be removed as it implies you can win points, complimentary drinks etc but when I asked about it, reception told me it's there for fun. How is it fun to think you've won something only to be told it means nothing? It's a pity the pool and spa are gone. I have stayed here many times over the years and really enjoyed that experience.

Hotel looks great from the outside. Location perfect for town shopping in Cabot circus and we actually got the bus from outside upto Bristol University and walked back as it wasn’t that far (and was downhill). The room was great. Staff great. Bar manager brilliant and chatty. Food prices in bar also good. Breakfast had everything you could want and was plentiful. Parking very easy, NCP right next door. You can pay be card or app.

On arrival we saw hotel but went the wrong way and ended up doing a big loop to get back. Had no idea where to go so just went down the other side and found it. Sat nav doesn’t take you to front entrance. Double beds in rooms are tight for 2 adults.

The location is perfect – we were travelling on foot, and it was just a short walk to Cabot Circus, which is full of cafes, restaurants, and shops. It’s also close to lots of attractions and activities for children, which made it ideal for our family. The hotel was very clean and well looked after. The kids especially loved the breakfast – there was a great variety and plenty to choose from. It was also really easy to catch buses nearby, which made getting around even more convenient. Overall, a great base for exploring the city with children – we’d happily stay again.

One downside of our stay was that the nearby park had a noticeable presence of people experiencing homelessness. While we understand this is a broader social issue, it did at times make the area feel a little less secure and left us feeling slightly on edge.

One of the nicest hotels I am grateful to be able to have stayed in. Staff could not be more helpful and the rooms are great value for money, quiet and nicely appointed.. The executive lounge with complimentary canopies and drinks, is a nice touch and comes with some executive rooms and suites. Also Marriott club memberships. I didn't use all of the facilities as my main reason for staying was to extend my stay after having stayed in Ireland for a week for a rest before heading home, see bristol and keep cool in the overly hot temperatures outside - very good air conditioning in rooms 😄 A very pleasant stay and I will look to stay again soon 🙏

Nothing really, it looks as though central hotel air conditioning is being worked on and the terrace being updated but substantial cooling fans are in place for these areas.

A Wonderful Family Stay, Truly Memorable! We recently spent three nights at this exceptional hotel as a family, and from the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth and genuine hospitality that made our stay truly unforgettable. The reception team deserves special recognition: Sut, Roshni, Jackey, and Ella were all incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready with a smile. There was also another lovely lady at the front desk whose name I didn’t catch, but her kindness and helpfulness did not go unnoticed. Thank you all for making us feel so well taken care of. The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully prepared for a family stay. Every detail reflected a high standard of comfort and care. The amenities were excellent, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. A big thank you as well to the restaurant and service staff, every meal we had was delicious, and the service was consistently attentive and friendly. Whether it was breakfast, or dinner, the team ensured we had everything we needed and more. This hotel has truly mastered the art of hospitality. We felt valued as guests, and more importantly, as a family. Thank you for making our stay so special, we will definitely be returning and recommending you to others. And of course, we’re pretty sure the staff will never forget us either, especially after the legendary prank Maya pulled! Sorry (and thank you) for taking it all in such good humor!😄

Location of hotel was great opposite a park and within easy access of waterside cafes / bars. Use of the executive lounge for evening drinks and snacks was helpful. Staff are very friendly. Would come again.

We had a room by the lift which could be a bit noisy with people coming up to rooms . There was no signage on the floor by the lifts reminding residents to be quiet when returning to rooms as others could be trying to sleep. Our room was lovely but we was not told there was going to be a massive music festival in the park on Easter Sunday. We was placed in a room right opposite and I would have thought hotel reception staff, who were young, would have known the festival was taking place and could have provided some warning as the blaring music was like a continuous thunderous thud until 11.00 that night. I appreciate that might have been the only side the room type we had was located but a bit of a heads up would have been nice.

The balcony was locked and the windows didn’t open, in the bathroom the metal casing around the shower handle and around the door knob were loose and coming off, the bathroom door didn’t lock though it had a lock it just didn’t work Parking was kinda annoying, close by but it didn’t tell us anywhere it would be 17 quid a night and that we couldn’t leave after we already parked because it could only be validated once, so we got in pretty early and couldn’t drive anywhere until we left the next morning, that was fine for us but it would have been nice to have a heads up about that before hand But over all it was a nice hotel

Perfect location to shopping and very lovely staff

Very unclean. When I first came the bedsheets were unclean and I got staff to change them however the new sets of bedsheets were unclean too. The cup stands were supposed to be changed everyday however when I came they were unclean. When I first came as well to check in I asked for housekeeping everyday to change towels and somehow they skipped my room everyday and I had to call up for someone to come clean which was very inconvenient. I also have picture of how unclean some areas were.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Room was huge, bed was massive and super comfy! Very clean and tidy. Plug sockets where they should be, decent hair dryer and even had nice shampoo & conditioner in the shower! Staff were lovely and very helpful. I had access to the lounge where you had free food & drink available in a nice quiet room. Really nice added extra. Parking is next door which the hotel offer you £17 for 24hrs which is expensive still but convenient being close. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Location is a big rough but that is nothing to do with the hotel. A short walk across the park and you are in the city centre.
