The hotel its self appears to of undergone some renovations and modernizing large welcoming lobby/reception area with bar with comfortable couches . The room was spacious and comfortable, very helpful and friendly staff, plenty of car parking which was free for 12 hours, good service all round. Good breakfast. Great location for Bristol city centre as there is a bus stop only 8 mins walk away.

There are major roadworks outside the hotel on the A4174 which makes access into the hotel site very challenging as it is concealed and not identified until you are on top of it. It would of been helpful to know this before the booking especially as we are not from the area.

Our family room was excellent. There was plenty of space for my husband and I and our two teenagers! We even had two separate toilets in the room with a walk in dressing room. It was fabulous. There were also sweet and savoury treats for our arrival, which was a nice touch. I booked the dinner, bed and breakfast option and found it to be brilliant value, especially with two hungry teenagers!

The mattress on one of the pull out beds had a hard spring in the middle. We didn't complain but I'm sure the staff would have been more than happy to replace it had we.

Suprisingly clean and well kept. I’d read reviews and was skeptical but the hotel and leisure facilities were great. Staff all very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean with plenty of loo roll, towels, pillows, soap (didn’t need to ask for anything). Smart TV. Didn’t have breakfast but the bar was super helpful when needed. Hotel setting is lovely had a lovely garden view.

Would be nice for hotel staff to be aware of noise disruptions during the night hours - was woken up three times on the one of the nights: 1am, 4am and 6 am from the same group of people treating the corridors like a common room.

The room was simple, clean, bright and felt spacious. Good tea and coffee facilities in the room, love a cuppa at times. The bed was comfortable and good pillows. Slept well. Breakfast was in a lovely environment. Good choices of food and options available, very impressed and satisfied.

Only negative point is that I was told by the restaurant manager that I was not allowed to be barefoot in the breakfast area. I live a barefoot lifestyle which doesn't hurt or affect anyone else. My family is fine with it. I didn't want to argue but I did ask him why and was there a hotel policy. He said because of health and safety. I could have asked him to provide proof but I didn't want to push it further. But I know there is no health and safety policy in the UK that governs not allowing barefoot unless it is a local policy. Could you kindly then clarify if this is the case with your hotel chains and also for future stays in your hotels.

The staff were excellent. Everybody The manager. Bar staff waitresses, reception. Swimming pool staff. Room was good. Kids liked their welcome crisps, sweets etc. The outside of the building was clean but gave wrong impression. Inside was magic. Looked professional welcoming just what l booked. Food was good. Kids loved their breakfast. Our evening meals were good. Very careful about our granddaughter and her Milk sensitivity.

No written instructions or menus. Not all guests are technologically savvy.We also had issues trying to retrieve the information from the smart Tv. The outside of the building needs something to stop it looking like an illegal immigrant hotel. Because the inside is wonderful. I sent my husband in to check prior to taking my grandchildren in. Because we a were responsible for our grandchildren. I would have rather have moved to another hotel, if l thought their experience wasn’t good. I have worked in the hotel trade and believe how children are welcome colours their view of using hotels. Their experience was very good.

The service Piotyr and Matthew were great in ensuring I had a meal regarding my intolerance to gluten and dairy.

1- we had to be given another room due to a tool box and drill sitting there when we entered! 2- tv in our room did not work all the time, seemed like a loose connection. 3- given wrong information regarding correct place to get a bus into the city centre. We were told 10 minutes walk however it turned into 30 minutes due to my wife’s hip problem. A map of the area with bus information would be handy as on the way back to the hotel we passed bus stops closer. There would not have been a problem accessing even with road works. Member of staff said “uber it”!

Plenty of parking, reasonably priced £5 per day, easily accessible coming off the motorway, ten minute walk to local Tesco express and bus service into the city centre. Front of house staff and breakfast hosts were all welcoming. Great selection for breakfast and seating availability. Rooms are ok, bathroom could do with being updated, maybe walk in showers similar to the Newcastle branch as well as their toiletries.

There’s a lovely lake around the back of the hotel but it was covered in what’s probably dog/fox and rabbits mess, wasn’t able to enjoy the outside space. Also, the gym opens later on a weekend which clashed with their breakfast times, wasn’t able to have a workout I planned during my visit.

Without exception, absolutely lovely, friendly staff - especially in the restaurant, on reception, and at the pool. Spotless room, peaceful, quiet, top floor with comfy bed, and snack tray on arrival. Air con pretty good, too. Nice bathroom with great shower. Lovely bar with dining space and impressive treatment of allergies. Lovely decor throughout. Thanks for rescuing my keys when I was so tired I dropped them and didn't even notice! Nice breakfast options too. Cracking sauna and loved having the pool to ourselves on a Saturday afternoon as well. What a treat!

I'd love to see recliners by the pool rather than chairs. I'd also love to see more TLC shown to the grounds where the ponds are - could be such a beautiful space!

The staff were just 100% every one of them so so lovely and kind to my children. They made our stay wonderful and will be back again. We had dinner in the restaurant and was super yummy but a little on the expensive side for us but happy the kids got to eat free so that made up for it. My little boy locked his Teddy (kenny)in the safe and he couldn't remember the code, lovely lady came to rescue the Teddy who was also very lovely and chatty to my 6 year old which made his day.

I actually can't say I didn't like anything... actually the pillows on the bed were a rather uncomfortable but the bed was lovely, room and Hotel fabulous.

I got a paid upgrade after an email offering me the option. The room was very clean and well appointed. Bathroom was spotless. On arrival which was after 6 hr journey, I met Kavin I think his name was . A beaming smile and a really good welcome. I immediately felt comfortable with choosing to stay there. He also helped me with a few bits and pieces like car parking when I landed and taxis the following morning . A great advertisement for your company.

The car park machine to register and pay was a bit tiresome. But your colleague helped me immediately.
