Hill House is a very nice accommodation, the room and the bathroom was spacious, the bed really king size and comfortable. We were very pleased with the welcome package (coffee machine, all sorts of teas, soya milk and some musli bar). Everything was clean and fresh. Our room was on the 2nd floor and Alex helped us taking up the heavy luggage upstairs, thank you! The room was accessible via a code which is great because you shall not worry of loosing your plastic card :) The house was in a safe neigbourhood. The center is appr. 10 mins away by walking but you can take the bus (6/7) for 1 GBP / person which takes you directly to the middle of town. The bus stop is literally 20 meters from the house. It is good on the way back because that is steep. Bath is an up-and-down town, very nice indeed. Though it is good to be a little away from the touristic center. If you come by car, you are suggested to buy the C type parking, offered by Alex, because that gives you plenty of choice to park.

For our taste the room was a little bit noisy in the morning (street front, traffic noise), but there was almost absolute silence between 10 pm-7am so one can have a long sleep anyway. If you want more silence you probably need to expressly ask for a room which looks at the backyard.

Comfortable spacious room with good facilities. Very comfortable bed and great shower. Well located for our trip as wedding guests in the centre. Responses were speedy on WA.

Although pre- warned, it hadn’t really registered that there was no breakfast on the weekend we stayed and we would have preferred something especially on the day we were heading off as effectively had to pack the car up and then find something- the recommendations were good and nearby. Parking spaces were a bit tricky to find - so we dropped the luggage & then left the car in the same spot until we left.

What a beautifully decorated hotel! They did a lovely job updating and decorating. We were a family of 3 staying and the room was very comfortable with a king size bed and a twin pull out sofa that was all set up for us when we walked in. They had all amenities covered, lovely tea set with snacks, soap/shampoo in the bathroom. It was a lovely room to come back to after a day of exploring. Felt like the comforts of home. Location was good, with a quick walk into city center. Alex was friendly, very communicative, and was a great help with parking setting us up with a parking pass for nearby street parking.

I had a fantastic stay at Hill House! The room was exceptionally comfortable and offered a nice view. I was impressed by the level of cleanliness and tidiness throughout the room. The design of the room was also very appealing and added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. I highly recommend trying out the breakfast at Hill House. The food was extremely fresh and delicious, and the breakfast room itself was warm and inviting. It was a great way to start the day! The hosts were a standout aspect of my stay. They were incredibly friendly and easy to get in touch with, making my experience all the more enjoyable. As a lovely gesture, they even gave us some fruit to enjoy on our train ride back home. Overall, I absolutely loved my time at Hill House and recommend it.

Extremely clean, room even smelt lovely! Exactly as photos suggest! Very nice small touches in the room such as chocolates and fresh water, bathroom products were amazing and high end! The hosts were by far the most helpful hosts I have ever spoken with! Really comfortable beds! They didn’t spare any detail, replied very fast and went above and beyond to help us with queries such as parking restrictions in bath. They did everything to ensure we had a nice stay. Really easy to access the property- instructions were great!

Unable to park despite paying for permit. Parked in car park 10 min down road which was ok but not ideal. Breakfast not available in house due to holiday of cook, although not informed of this until e mail just before arrival.

Very nice B&B, close to the city center and with a magnificent view over the city. They have only a few rooms, but they are clan and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and forthcoming. Unfortunately, they had no breakfast serving when we were there, but it was easy enough to find nearby.

Nothing to complain about. It wasn't cheap, but hotel prices are generally high in Bath.

Location is tops, quiet and situated above the busiest areas, but close enough to walk to most sites. Room was clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed and well designed bathroom.

Breakfast was unfortunately not available during our stay, but good breakfast options were nearby.

Our drain in the shower was clogged - not a huge deal for us, but if this is sorted, it's something that would improve our experience

Absolutely everything - beautiful room, lovely host, perfect little oasis that made my luxury trip to Bath complete!

Nothing at all, everything was perfect. Maybe having to walk up the hill in the heat but can’t really complain about that when you see the view at the top!
