The Queensberry is a four star hotel, so we expected the service, the room and the hotel to be good and it delivered. The hotel is very much in keeping with the surroundings and the historical grandeur of Bath. The garden / court yard behind the hotel is a nice touch in an essentially city area. We probably had one of the cheaper rooms on the top floor and it was still very, very nice. Valet parking worked perfectly as well, which is a relieve because parking would have been a pain. Food in the Olive tree restaurant is exceptional. Book a table!

Depending on where you want to go, you do a lot of walking. The Crescent and the Circle are close by, the Assembly Rooms are very close as well, but the Roman Baths, the Abbey or the station not that much.

This hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the thoughtful service. Being able to sit and relax while checking in was a great touch. The reception area was well-equipped with water, tea, and coffee, and the comfortable furniture made it a pleasant place to unwind. Another highlight was the luggage service—leaving my bags at the entrance and having them delivered directly to my room was a nice convenience. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. Stepping into the room, I was greeted by soothing classical music, which added to the elegant atmosphere. Everything was simply perfect, with nothing lacking. On top of that, the location was unbeatable. I would definitely love to stay here again!

Overall, it was a great hotel, but there were a few drawbacks. First, the bed size felt a bit small. We usually prefer a super king-size bed (at least 180cm wide), but the one here was narrower than expected, which was slightly disappointing. Additionally, valet parking was quite expensive, and street parking was limited. The public parking area was a bit far from the hotel, which could be inconvenient for those with a car. Aside from these points, it was an overall satisfying experience.

Lovely hotel, very convenient for bath city centre Staff were friendly and helpful, happy to look after bags before we checked in too which was helpful! Room was comfortable, well decorated, spacious. Bed really comfy, great that they had USB plugs near bed too. Bathroom also spacious and had everything we needed, lovely products and minimal plastic Information on restaurants, things to see was really helpful too.

Tea/coffee not in rooms - just one machine near entrance Bit of dust on surfaces and cobwebs in room Robes were damp - either used and not replaced or not dried? We didn’t feel comfortable using them in any case… Some noise disturbances as we were close to main stairwell. None of the above would be an issue in a cheaper hotel & we had a great stay, but at this price you do expect things to be pretty perfect!

The staff was truly amazing. Everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. There is an "optional" gratuity built into the bill, which I did not mind at all. The location is excellent for touring the town on foot - far enough away from downtown to be quiet, but not too far to make a stroll in for a pint too onerous. There are very few eating/shopping opportunities in the immediate environs, but a 10 minute walk downhill puts you in the thick of things. The valet parking was convenient and efficient but not cheap (25 pounds/night).

The breakfast menu was limited and did not change through the five nights of our stay. I'd suggest not including it in your room package and determine whether it is worth it given the many cafes downtown (10-15 min walk). The bar area was quite small and the service was slow, but the environs were comfortable.

The staff was very friendly. They took the luggage to the room and even gave us a tour of the venue before escorting us to our room. The staff was very accommodating for a few specific request we had and provided fantastic service. The rooms were well put together and cozy. The only potential negative is the location if you want to be closer to the downtown area of bath. It was about a 10-15 minute walk, partially down a large hill, to get to many of the restaurants and shops. With that said, the locale is very close to the royal crescent and the walk is very manageable.

No issues with the property!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful with directions, suggestions, and parking. We particularly appreciated the bartender, Netra, who went out of his way to make certain we had lunch and great drinks at the bar. Excellent location for visiting Bath - within walking distance of everything you want to see.

Make certain you carefully check which room you have booked! I use booking.com all the time and I am very careful to pick the correct room, but somehow I picked a room that was incredibly tiny. It was ok because we were not going to spend much time in the room, but this room was so small you could not get into the bed from one side. So read the fine print of your booking.

General manager Sean and the entire team at the Queensberry made our stay a delight, from start to finish. We checked in early, as they prioritise rooms in accordance with arrival time, not before having a cup of tea by the fire in the reception room (very much needed on a cold January day). Then, Sean took us up to our room and personally explained every detail. And if that wasn’t enough, not even five minutes after that, they surprised us with a bottle of champagne (we were celebrating our anniversary). The room was large and comfortable, and the concierge-made guide laying out what to see in Bath proved indispensable. The room service bar snacks we ordered later that evening were yummy, reasonably priced and came quickly (even though it was well past midnight). Breakfast was similarly delicious and the hotel bar even had blankets on hooks by the door to the garden. There wasn’t a single thing the Queensberry hasn’t thought of. Thank you ever so much for an amazing stay.

The bedroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was fabulous. I loved the furnishings especially. There were also places to sit and enjoy the good weather and several lounges in the hotel.

Although close to several very important tourist attractions the hotel is at the top of the town so an uphill walk is needed at the end of the day. One other problem was that the tea and coffee machines were on the ground floor and floor2. I was on floor 3, which meant before a morning coffee it required getting dressed. I also found the restaurant was cold (in summer) in the two occasions I went. Maybe less cooling is better for the environment.

The staff at the hotel were so friendly, approachable and kind. The hotel itself was in a gorgeous building and the decor inside was very lovely. The bar and restaurant situated within the hotel were superb, with amazing cocktails and food! Upon arrival we was informed that the hotel had upgraded us from a classic double room to a deluxe double room as we was celebrating our anniversary, and that honestly was so amazing and really made it a memorable stay! Would definitely come back for another stay at the Queensbury

Can’t think of anything negative!

Exceptional staff who greeted us with the warmest welcome upon arrival. We were there for four nights for our honeymoon and the place was immaculate ,really paid attention to detail and nothing was too much trouble.. Very well positioned near the town but far away enough to escape the busyness of the main centre. Our room was beautiful and neither of us could fault the place atall. If there was an option for more stars they would have them!
