The location was perfect, the vibe was great, the decor beautiful and a very comfy bed with an assortment of pillows.
The floors were extremely squeaky. I could hear everyone upstairs and around me, walking. The shower had quite a lot of mould up the tiles.

Really friendly welcome and as it was my birthday we were upgraded. We were also offered a glass of prosecco each (4 of us) and while at the bar enjoying this, I was presented with a birthday cupcake which was a really lovely touch. All staff we encountered were pleasant. The room was lovely and the bed comfy. The location was perfect as it's not right in the centre of town but just a short 5-7min walk away from most things including the train station.

Great location, easy MiPermit parking just up the road. Great breakfast options and quality.
It was cold in the room and we were told in the morning we could have adjusted the thermostat but there were no instructions in the room telling us about that. The shower had been left pointing outwards so that when I tried to turn it on from outside the shower by lifting the lever I got blasted full in the face and hair and soaking the floor! Minor inconveniences which wont stop me staying here again.

The hotel was nicely decorated and location was convenient Staff were pleasant got a room upgrade which was a nice touch.
Cleanliness needs to be looked at. The toilet had water smears, needed a good clean in lid hinge, two hairs on bed and the headboard had some sort of grease type of marks. Dust in lamp shades, the room and sheets didn’t smell fresh. We had to pay extra for breakfast which should ideally be included in the price. Other establishments do have it included in the price. I paid £159 for the room £28 breakfast and £14 parking.

My new bride and I were in Bath for our honeymoon; as we were on a budget, we had booked the standard room. The team was very kind to offer us an upgraded room for the special occasion as well as 2 glasses of prosecco at check-in. Additionally, the location was fantastic; getting to walk across the famous Putney Bridge each time we wanted to head into town was special, and Bath is a very walkable city so nothing felt too far away.
This is pretty minor, but there was a green emergency light in our room. I appreciate it is likely a legal requirement, but it was so bright that it kept us awake most nights. Less than ideal when the primary use for the space was for sleep.

Location, location, location for this hotel is 5* plus, short walk to the top of the street and you re well on your way into the center of Bath! Restaurants, cafe's, bars and sights of Bath all within easy walking distance. The room was huge, with a fabulously comfy bed after lots of sight-seeing. The hotel is nestled into the beautiful architecture of Bath and the internal building matches that too with floors & ceilings but modernized to a very good standard.
The room was in need of a deep clean, hairs on the bed and in the shower. The gold fittings of the bathroom taps etc, were very worn with lots of limescale present as well. The inside of the bathroom door was also very dirty & marked and the room carpet had huge stains on it. For this standard of hotel and the cleanliness in the public areas you wouldn't expect this.

I liked that I could walk everywhere from the hotel. The hotel building is in an area of Bath (near the River Avon), which was 'fashionable' when Jane Austen lived around there! So much history in this beautiful small city! There are lots of coffee bars, tea shops, eateries nearby. The area is a 10 minute walk from the Roman Baths/Bath Abbey yet it's in a quiet location - you can get a good night's sleep! My room was characterful: wooden floor with rug and a lovely ceramic bathroom floor. The shower is attached inside the bath. My room wasn't in the main building where the bar and breakfast room was. I didn't mind as I didn't use either.
I didn't like that the description said I had a room with a view and when I looked out of the window I saw a car park, the back of similar buildings and, granted, a few trees to my left - the start of Henrietta park. A view in Bath, in my opinion, would be either the river Avon or a historic building or rolling hills. I personally didn't mind what view I had as I didn't spend much time in my room - there's so much to venture into this city in a few days.

A lovely boutique hotel 10 minutes walk from the centre of the city with all the cite seeing and restaurants . About 15 mins walk from the railway station. The beds were very comfortable. A well decorated bathroom with a power shower was much appreciated after a long day of walking around. This hotel was tastefully decorated and clean throughout with a cosy bar and reception room. The staff could not be more helpful. I cannot comment on the food personally as I did not sample it myself but it looked very lovely and other guests seemed to be enjoying it greatly. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it highly to anyone visiting Bath. Thank you to all the lovely staff and see you again soon!

It was close to the city centre and the walk towards the Hotel is lovely. They also gave me an upgrade and it was a very spacious and lovely place. Not advertised but thoroughly enjoyed were the different movie posters through the hallways, made it much more fun to explore the halls.
I was grateful to have a window, sadly it looked out at a ventilation system (I think). During my stay there were loud ventilation sounds and every once in a while I could hear strange noises from the vent. No clue what these were, they were a mild annoyance, but perhaps something to be prepared for if you scare easily.

Fabulous location. An attractive period property in the heart of what looked like a Jane Austen film set. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Staff were all very friendly. Great breakfast. Very good value.
Our room was at the top of a 3 storey Georgian house so there were the inevitable multitude of stairs and the occasional creaky floorboard, only to be expected in a house built in the 18th century. Thankfully there was a small lift but even once we got to our floor, there were lots of corridors and steps. Check which room you’re getting if you have any mobility problems.
