Really lovely staff and a very warm and informative welcome from Ellen. Comfortable lounge with complimentary soft drinks and sweets was a nice touch. Nice to have fresh milk on hand for tea and coffee in the room without having to ask. Easy 10 minutes walk into Bath. Lovely views from our room over the cricket pitch to the Abbey. Breakfast was well cooked and delicious, generous amounts of coffee. The bed was comfy and the shower was really good. Towels were amazing - big and thick.

I felt charging £20 a night for the car park when it was part of the hotel's own land and was not open to non residents left a sour taste. We ended up paying £60, which added 10% to our bill. If they changed this to no charge, or at a push a more reasonable amount, there would have been nothing I could write here as there was nothing I didn't like.

The hotel has some nice additional touches with complementary sets and soft drinks available . The decoration and fittings are individual and very nicely done. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The food was very good although the portion sizes at lunch and for breakfast were a little mean given the pricing. Car park charges should be more clearly shown on the booking site.

Location excellent. Large group went for family wedding. Bride/groom, parents/grandparents, grandchildren and friends. Nothing too much trouble for the staff, very helpful and friendly.

Given price of staying, which was expensive, having to pay extra £20/night car parking site was a bit much, should have been included.

Really lovely hotel! Very boutique style with the decor and finished to a good standard. The staff were really friendly and attentive, offered us complimentary soft drinks, fruit, sweets from their communal ‘tuck shop’ and rocky road for our trip home which was thoughtful! The breakfast was delicious, great options including a full English which came with all the trimmings. We sat out and had drinks on the lovely terrace both evenings which was nice, they have comfortable outdoor furniture. Our room was on the ground floor, very clean and nicely decorated with the roll top bath. We had views of the abbey so no road noise at all. Bed was super comfy and shower was amazing! Also appreciated the iron and ironing board provided in the room. All in all a fabulous place to stay and would highly recommend.

Only thing we thought of that would have been good was to have a mini fridge in the room.

Absolutely beautiful, in a stunning residential area just 5 minutes walk from the city with the birds singing :-) our room was spacious and well decorated with high quality furniture and art, with big, wide opening windows and high ceilings, comfortable beds and beautiful toiletries. What really made the stay though were the staff - they were truly exceptional from start to finish - welcoming, friendly, extremely kind and accommodating, just lovely people - it was a poignant trip and you took such good care of us, thank you for making our stay so special.

It was a shame the beautiful terrace had to close at 10, but understandable given the residential neighbourhood.

This place is decked out with very cool and funky vibe. Very helpful front desk, with water and snacks upon arrival and departure. Access to free snacks and drinks throughout the stay. Didn't have breakfast there, but the evening restaurant meal was very nice. Great location - outside of the hustle and bustle of the main town, but only a short 5 minute walk there.

Overall it is feeling a bit tired.... threadbare carpets and worn window treatments. Road facing rooms were a little noisy, but friends stayed in rear rooms and reported no such issue. World's slowest service at the terrace bar! At one stage our group of 4 were the only ones there and it took an eternity for drinks to arrive..... seriously thought they were still growing the lemons!!

Room was huge and bed enormous and very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and beautiful. Breakfast was exceptional quality and great service. Location was only a 10 min walk to main attractions and town. Staff were all really friendly and helpful.

We were given the room on the lower floor right next to the restaurant/bar which did get a little noisy, but luckily we were there mid week so the noise died down by about 9.30 - 10pm, and we had to keep the curtains shut as there were people just outside who could see in. It was really only a minor inconvenience, I would definitely stay again, but would request any other room, especially if we were there over a weekend.

Really cute lovely hotel. In a great location. Staff were all really friendly. Breakfast was amazing, we had dinner there, that was also REALLY good. USB charging ports in room Would recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. These aren't things we disliked, just something to be aware of. It is an older building so walls are a bit thinner, there is no lift, only stairs. They get steeper and shorter the further you go up, they're not very wide either. The shower in our room was tiny. Probably not suitable for elderly or overweight people. If that's not you I'm sure you will have a lovely stay. Would highly recommend

A cute boutique hotel with a quirky lobby. We stayed with our dog and they were very accommodating, and provided the dog bed and a treat box for the furry guest. Doug at check-in was very friendly, and made sure we were comfortable. This is a good hotel for dog owners as there are 2 parks not far away for nice walkies. Shower was good with ample hot water and strong water pressure.

Room was a little small. Parking spaces are quite tight for bigger cars, especially around the back of the hotel. It is a little walk away from Bath centre but not too far at all.

The Bird, Bath is a gorgeous hotel with highly attentive staff and perfectly located to be able to easily walk to all the main attractions in Bath. The rooms are beautifully appointed and exceptionally clean and the restaurant is of the highest quality. The extras the hotel provides for guest - sweets, fruit, drinks in the lobby - is a lovely and thoughtful, and something we appreciated during our stay. Onsite parking was also very much appreciated. Highly recommend The Bird, Bath.
