The location right at the Watershed is absolutely perfect. It allows easy access to all Bristol’s top attractions and invites for relaxed evening strolls along the Harbour. The room we had 1106 was spotlessly clean, had a huge comfortable bed and a efficient air conditioner. The shower was massive which we appreciated. The hotel has its own park house - it quite tight if you have a big car and it’s typically expensive for the center of town (we paid £17 per day) - but it’s convenient and there are lifts to the reception floor. Very well trained extremely friendly and competent staff. TOP We will go there again next time!

Breakfast is very expensive - if it’s too expensive for you I recommend going to ‚Spoons‘ which is about 1/3 of the price (park street or the waterfront)

The location is fabulous, smack in the middle of the city centre and a bit off the busiest part. It is a beautiful historical building. The hotel seems large, as I had to walk a "long" way to my room, but it is ok. I got the family room and the size is adequate. The beds were comfortable. I really want to compliment the night shift staff Mr. Ali Shahzad. He was very helpful and pointed where the car park entrance was, and shared about useful information when in Bristol. It is people like him you meet that make the stay pleasant!

Upon arrival at the hotel entrance, had to push several pieces of my luggage up the ramp. Would be nice if there were porter to help.

The housekeeping staff forgot to replace the face towels, and the sink plug didn't work. This was reported to reception that day we were told the sink plug would attended to the next day, but it wasn't the staff said that they had had a busy day but it would be done the next day ,it was but then we couldn't undo the plug to let the water out I suffer from anxiety and asked for a quiet table but was put in the middle of two tables then a party of 8 people were seated behind us there were plenty of empty tables in the restaurant at this time We have booked New years Eve and requested a table for 2 near the entrance

I've stayed here before when working in Bristol so this was my first choice to use again. Staff on Check in are friendly although sometimes it does take a while to be served. That aside, the hotel itself is lovely, clean and also smells nice too and the rooms are comfortable and have everything you would need for a great stay. I didn't eat in the Restaurant as there was a Wedding on and the guests were everywhere and I didn't want to encroach so I ate elsewhere but my room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space. Facilities are good, there is a gym on site and also breakfast was good, plenty of choice and a nice quiet setting. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a great Hotel.

Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel is a luxurious hotel providing 5-star service. The breakfast is excellent, with good-quality food, a good view of Bristol Cathedral and excellent service from the staff. The staff members at the check-in counter are of great and exceptional service-minded. Big compliment to Jossie, Jamie, Kim, the lady with black hair at the reception counter on 11 Sept in the morning, the male staff at the reception counter on 12 Sept in the afternoon time and the housekeeping. All of them made us feel at home! We will be back again and again!

The housekeeping could have consistency in providing amenities. On the first night we checked in, we had no floor mat in the bathroom. This can cause safety risks to guests.

The location was excellent, the room very clean the bed and bathroom very good. The breakfast was good. The overall ambiance was very pleasant

Finding the car park entrance is not well signposted The car park is tight and narrow for a large vehicle There was a delay in signing in although was already booked as the hotel seemed to have a technical error. (Minor - the "manager" who was brought out to sort out the problem seemed very "jack the lad" with hands in pockets and giving off terrible vibes of zero frustrated customer awareness, sorry to sound harsh but definitely some customer PR training needed there). The bar closed at 12, I had been at a meeting and had not had a drink all evening so was disappointed for such a prestigious hotel it was not possible to get any refreshment other than use the two cans of water left in the room. There was no toilet brush in the rooms bathroom.

Location of hotel was great for Hippodrome Theatre to see a show. Close to the harbour and town is a short walk away. Bristol Cathedral is just outside and worth a visit with lovely walks around the gardens. We had a room with two double beds which had plenty of room and a large shower. The beds are comfortable and very clean. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. We booked breakfast and there was plenty of choice. As I have a gluten intolerance the staff were very helpful and brought breakfast to me. Overall this is a lovely hotel although we did get a taxi from Bristol Temple Meads which cost about £8.00 otherwise it's about a 20 / 25 minute walk ro the hotel.

Location excellent. Breakfast just OK - fruit salad was just large lumps of apple and some pineapple( when pineapple already on offer separately) seemed short of staff to clear dirty plates from table and refill buffet. Poached eggs and fried eggs rather cold. Mushrooms were delicious, and so were pastries. Bacon rather underdone. Very comfy bed, spotless bathroom

Cleanliness generally excellent, but my first impression of the hotel was visiting the basement loos before check in - the painted doors inside the cubicles looked filthy and worn - made me a bit worried about how the rest of our stay would be ! These worries unfounded however. Rather haphazard refilling of teabags in our room, last day we just had English breakfast, no green tea, ( I know we could have asked for some )

Two nights in Bristol doing regional university scouting. Rooms were classy, spacious and very comfortable. Bed and bedding were comfortable and clean. In room amenities - TV, coffee service, safe, all operated correctly. Nice bathroom. Beautiful and comfortable breakfast room, and excellent breakfast. Friendly staff who oriented me on where to find a sports bar and helped me go through bins to find an essential piece of paper that had fallen out of my pocket at breakfast. Couldn't have been more pleased with the stay. The location, close to the university and the riverfront, is ideal, and the hotel has internal-facing rooms on a courtyard for those who need quiet. We made the walk to/from the train station four times, and it was about 20-25 minutes, over generally flat ground, and quite emjoyable as central Bristol is really lovely.

The signage to find the rooms and lifts was perhaps a little confusing. It's a large hotel. But this is a minor complaint, it was a thoroughly enjoyable hotel.

Luxurious and great location, clean, comfy rooms and building. Miller and carter was lovely! Breakfast was amazing.

Hotel parking was very tight larger 4X4’s would be a struggle to park. I also didn’t like the walk from the car park into the hotel it was a little creepy. Breakfast seemed a little unorganised, we waited for approximately 20 minutes to be seated and was seated in someone else’s seat then all the staff were having conversations about turning people away and we’d pre-paid so I wouldn’t have been happy. However the food was unreal!! Some of the staff didn’t speak English and didn’t know what I was saying to they just kept walking away when I was asking for things.
