Excellent Property in a great location. Valet parking is a great option with your vehicle available whenever you want it. Rooms are excellent well laid out with everything you need. Four Poster bed was lovely and comfortable and the Mini fridge was great if you didn’t want to go out.

Breakfast whilst excellent quality was often very slow to arrive, and staff seemed very busy doing not a great deal. Housekeeping was a little hit and miss and on one occasion did not happen until 16:45 by which time we had returned to our room and did not wish to be disturbed. In the our room there was a plentiful supply of electrical sockets, switches various thermostats and timers; It would have been helpful if some form of instructions could have been provided, as at the end of our 3 night stay we were still discovering what did what.

At check-in, Eve was so friendly and professional that we felt right at home. She was attentive in storing our luggage until our room was ready, as we arrived well before the appointed check-in time. She also helped orient us to the hotel's location and various places in the city. Once back at the hotel, Eve showed us to our room, where our luggage had been delivered, and explained all the workings of the lights, TV, and the bath. We were thoroughly pleased with the breakfast selection from the menu and buffet in the mornings. Coffee offerings were plentiful. We dined one evening in the BEAU, which also served wonderful selections of delicious dishes. We used the valet service for our car; the service did not disappoint again. Upon check out, our car was delivered and even washed for our journey home. Now that is fantastic service!

I didn't like that we could not stay longer, as we enjoyed ourselves so much in the beautiful property.

Fantastic location, right in the centre of Bath. The breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from, and plenty of Gluten free options. Lovely, and very friendly staff, Lovely quirky hotel, the decor was great!

not sure if it is true of all rooms, but ours was extremely small, with nowhere really to put our things, our bags ended up on the floor, which were then in the way. Room states its a King size bed. We have king at home, and this bed felt smaller. While the decor was lovely, the rooms were starting to look tired and a little grubby. Wall paper peeling, mould in tiles in showers. The lighting was overly complicated to operate. The room was SO hot. Not sure if the aircon wasn't working, as couldn't fathom that either but the lowest temp it would go to was 16, but I don't think the temperature ever got down to that. We had the window open for the duration of our stay, but sadly this didn't really help.

The location was perfect, right in the center of Bath, close to all the major attractions. The property itself was full of character, reflecting the era in which it was built in the 1700s. The room featured a beautiful bathroom and offered a nice selection of complimentary teas, coffee, and even a couple of beers in the fridge. I really appreciated the unique character and theme of the entire place.

Honest with you I liked the property in general. Any issue you had was while checking out I asked the receptionist for a receipt he proceeded to say to me I need to go to Booking.com even though every hotel I stayed in would give me a receipt on checkout that I’ve booked through Booking.com Long story cut show it turns out I was right and he should’ve give me a receipt hopefully next time the staff doing the graveyard shift are more informed about the situation with checkouts through Booking.com and receipts

The location was excellent and the price not too bad considering how close it was to the city center and railway station. Loved the decor it was very chic and original, especially since they had retained and respected a lot of the original features of the old building.

Our room was a bit noisy since it looked onto the generators at the back of the hotel and we could hear the humming all night since the windows were not double glazed. Also the corridors of the hotel and communal areas were a bit cold, could have done with a bit more heating, since it was particularly cold when we stayed in February.

An excellent hotel in a perfect location. A handful of minutes walk from the train and bus stations and the main town centre. We had a large well laid out room which was perfect. The staff in all areas of the hotel could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. It has a very pleasant bar area, well staffed and stocked. We would definitely return.

The only very slight downside was the rear view, which actually didn't bother us at all. We would have liked a sea view but appreciate this is difficult to achieve in Bath!

Everything was lovely and very cosy. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast was lovely so much choice. Only one little quibble if you could call it that was my husband had the eggs benidict and the service was that quick he hadn't even finished his ceral before it arrive so had to leave them so his cooked Breakfast didn't go cold. Maybe the orders for the hot food should be taken once the customer has finished there ceral with the service being so quick and then you wouldn't feel so rushed like we did. It was close to the train station and all the amenities

Our room was on the front (beautiful room) but was sooo noisy late at night with the boy racer cars. It wasn't til morning that we realised the secondary glazing window was open. We tried to close it but was stuck so we reported it to the reception staff. Just wished we had know and then maybe of slept a bit better. But the room itself was great.

The location was excellent - a short walk to all the spots I wanted to visit. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. The toiletries were of excellent quality, and the complimentry mini fridge a welcome addition to the end of a busy day. The hotel has a fun playful vibe to it, and was a great place to stay during my time in Bath.

Some travelers were very confused with the room numbers (the 500 rooms being on the second floor etc.)- it did lead to interesting elevator conversations. Perhaps better signage or explanations when checking in? Personally, I loved the quirkiness of it all, but I did run into a few rather annoyed Americans who are used to things being a bit more linear I guess.

The room was lovely. Spacious, clean and well thought out. The hotel itself was attractive, comfortable and welcoming. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. I liked that I could leave my bag and that it was delivered to my room when ready. The location was perfect l as it was very convenient to the old town centre but not noisy at all.

The breakfast offered at additional cost was fine but poor value for money. At checkout the system automatically charged me for breakfasts I hadn't had, which I didn't discover until I checked the printed receipt at home. The charge was promptly refunded when I contacted the hotel but it would have been better if it hadn't happened.

Staff was so eager and helpful. I was able to exchange my room for one with a bath tub and I was delighted to find a bath robe and slipper in the room. It was a very peaceful relaxing stay. I was in walking distance to everything.

The only concern was that the hotel itself is a labyrinth of hallways and corridors and if you have mobility issues, it could be a big concern. The fire alarm did go off while I was there and I was near the lobby at the time, but as I was in a top floor room it might have been a bit scary to navigate. I do think the signs could be clearer.
