Absolutely loved this place! I stayed for just one night, and myself and my family had dinner in the restaurant the night before. The food was exquisite! The service was brilliant. The room was so, so comfortable, with a lovely ensuite. There was a slight confusion over my breakfast arrangements in the morning (I had to leave early to go diving in a local site) - however, the lady who dealt with it deserves a medal, in my opinion! Incredible customer service. These are really lovely, dedicated people delivering a fabulous service, in a beautiful location. ❤️

The Fromeway is absolutely gorgeous. It looks like there are three rooms available, we stayed in one and our friends stayed in a second. Our room was 'Heron' and it was beautifully decorated with Heron themed artwork, I've never stayed anywhere with such lovely attention to detail. The room and ensuite bathroom were cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating and really made us feel welcome. We stayed as we were going to a wedding in Priston Mill and it was the perfect location. If we're ever back in this part of the world we will definitely stay at The Fromeway again.
There was nothing I didn't like.

I was impressed by the hospitality froim the moment Hannah went out of her way to drive down to meet me in the town centre after disembarking from my bus. That saved me a tiring trudge up the hill . The hotel was also conveniently close to the football ground which was the purpose of my visit even tho the game I saw wasn't up to much.
There was nothing to dislike about the hotel which has apparently remained under the ownership of the same family for 170 years spanning seven generations.

Perfect for a quick work trip. Comfortable, spotlessly clean room, plenty of pillows & much welcomed fan although windows open widely too. Quiet area & and plenty of parking. Wonderful welcome & only sad this is that it was fully booked so I couldn't stay a further night! Great effort & clearly a hardworking & dedicated team. Will definitely be back when next working or visiting the area. Thank-you.

We loved it and it really was a break and a treat! Great to bump into the parents of the bride at the pub for dinner the night before. Could not have found a better place in the whole of the UK! The hosts were exceptional both before and after our stay. Lovely to know the history of the pub in the family. Even left our house keys and glasses behind and they phoned up and traced us down so we didn’t find out 3hrs at home but without access!

Stayed April 6/7. Room was lovely, spotlessly clean, quiet despite being on the back of a pub. King size bed was very comfy, lovely linen. Tea and coffee in the room. The highlight was the breakfast, cooked by one of the sisters (apologies I can’t remember your name) and was outstanding.
Only criticism was that we would have stayed later in the bar but couldn’t get served. Poor barman was on his own on a Saturday night and was changing barrels as well as trying to keep up with service.

The host was very friendly. The room was cosy and the beds comfortable. Nice hot shower. Breakfast was delicious and a decent portion. The location worked very well for us, we wanted somewhere to stay the night before heading into Glastonbury Festival, which is not far away.
The only thing I can think of: the lamp on the desk was battery operated and not very powerful - a bit dim. But otherwise, it was a perfect stay.

Extremely attentive and welcoming hosts. Went out of their way to host us for dinner, even though we hadn't booked a table and the food was incredible. The pub was lovely, cosy and a great atmosphere. The room was perfect, quiet and very comfortable.
The only, tiny niggle was the automatic lighting in the bathroom. It's very bright in the middle of the night.

The accommodation was very clean and nicely decorated with everything you needed for a good night's stay. Staff were very welcoming and gave friendly service. Lovely breakfast.
Everything was as described nothing to not like. Just a shame they were very booked up and we couldn't stay another night.

The staff was absolutely lovely and went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant stay. The accommodations were attractive, updated, clean, and comfortable. The food served at the pub was delicious, and the menu was amply diverse. The coffee brewed in a French press each morning was always perfect, and complimented my choice of breakfast. The garden in the rear sitting area was beautiful, vibrant, well laid out, and nicely maintained, and the property is steeped in family history. In short, I am looking forward to my next stay there.
