Perfectly located for our visit to nearby friends, the hotel was clean and well appointed. The staff were a delight and offered a ready smile and any help we needed. The room was just what we needed, comfortable and clean. Thank you. Ample car parking too.

Before reaching the property the numerous emails asking if we wanted to “upgrade our room” by bidding against other guests while giving no details of what we would be bidding for were annoying and intrusive. Similarly the online price for the breakfast was advertised at one price but when ordered we were told prices had increased by £3 per person.

View over golf course. Good room. Shower and bath. Kettle in room worth a good selection of teas. Plenty of parking. Nice welcome and areas to sit in.

The new bar layout, for me, Is too clinical. The older layout much more comfortable. The major issue though was on a Saturday night they sit the bar at 09:40pm. I could see they were going to close it and managed to get one last round of drinks at 09:35pm but they had to unlock the door to the bar to serve me. Others came downstairs for a drink at 10pm after putting their children to bed and were unable to buy drinks. The choice of beer was very limited and expensive. There is nothing apart from a social club nearby. Closest real ale pub 1.1miles away in Midsummer Norton.

Our stay at this property near Bath was truly delightful. The location is perfect, offering easy access to the historic city while being nestled in a peaceful setting surrounded by picturesque golf fields. The property itself exudes cozy charm, with a welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. Every corner feels thoughtfully arranged, and the peaceful surroundings added to the relaxing experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, both at reception and in the restaurant, where we enjoyed a quiet and pleasant breakfast each morning. Their warm hospitality and attentive service truly made a difference to our stay. It’s an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat close to Bath, with great views, excellent service, and a cozy ambiance. Highly recommended!

Great room, really large albeit hot as no air con but a fan provided. Bathroom was great and very modern. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful and a credit to the hotel.

Breakfast was a bit of a disaster! Coffee machine continually got blocked or needed refilling, had to ask for butter, for cups, for glasses, for fruit to be refilled. Lots of staff but not one of them seemed responsible for checking what needed replacing or refilling. Hot food was good and quality was good

everything was very good especially the staff and the breakfast.

i am very disappointed that well behaved dogs aren’t welcome as this means that i only stay with you when my regular dog friendly b&b is fully booked. If you would like to reconsider, my dog is small, does not bark, does not shed hair and very clean as she is washed every day. I am staying with you again this weekend so be sure to let me know if there are any policy updates!

Check in was straight forward, the room was clean & comfortable with ample drinks making kit. The view of the adjoining golf course was particularly welcome, even though we don't play! The Autumn colours on the nearby trees were a bonus. No disturbance from other guests or traffic, it felt quite secluded even though it was only about 100 yards from the main road. We stayed for three nights & each time we entered the property we were met with a cheery greeting from the reception staff. Convenient for the town, short drive or fifteen minute walk. Ample parking. Confident we'll be back!

No 'rough' cider in the bar! Can't comment on the restaurant as we didn't have the need to use it.

The layout of the room was really good . We had a family room, which provided ample space for all party members. There was sufficient space for our luggage to be stored during our stay, and overall the standard of cleanliness within the room was excellent. We did report a leaking shower following our first nights stay, but this was fixed and the bathroom was given a little refresh afterwards. Can’t fault the response from maintenance and reception teams for rectifying this so promptly!

Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant did not provide a children’s food menu or offer smaller sized meals. As we travelled with our young son, there was very little choice of food on the main restaurant menu to cater for his palate. As a result we therefore had to pay full price for a half eaten meal! Hence the following evening, we decided to travel to the local retail village (Clarkes Village) in order to cater for our needs. Also on 2nd day, the main lounge area was setup for a wedding. Unfortunately there was no notification of this event or offer/advisory of an alternative area to sit/ relax during our stay.

The reception team were amazing and the lady’s running the restaurant Friday and Saturday were also excellent. The food was some of the best we have had in a hotel totally impressed !!

We had a issue with the door outside our room the soft close wasn’t working so it slammed a lot in the night! The Sunday morning breakfast staff were not great and didn’t seam to know what was going on most of the time with orders and replenishing but they were friendly and polite

Room clean and comfy. Nice view of golf course. Bath room good. Lovely meals in restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Bar area good.

Room very small. Chair for desk too high, unable to get legs under desk. Seemed like there was a staff room next door, door slammed several times on first night. Didn't hear it once on second night.

Bedrooms clean with everything you need. Breakfast good. Very helpfull member of staff (didnt get her name) who went out of her way to make sure my 90 year old mother in law had a ground floor room & gave her a slip mat for the shower

Breakfast took a while to order. Had to grab a member of staff. Bar service not very efficient. Lovely lady working the bar but we wasnt told it was closing,so when we grabbed a member of staff to get a drink before bed & we were told the till was closed & there was no facility to put the bill on our room. Not the mans fault but reception should have made us aware of this when we checked in. Bed comfortable but squeaky
