Host has left a decent whole grain loaf and quality biscuits for us, which was a good surprise. The department is clean, warm and cosy with plenty of towels, blankets and travel cot and safe gates for our toddler.

Chalk in the kettle. I think it would be beneficial to install a water softener.

Quiet location, wonderful and comfy beds. Very well kitted out house with added extras. Hosts went extra mile during power cut to check we were OK. Lovely stay would recommend.

I would not have changed anything about our stay. Whole family very happy.

I made a mistake with my booking - Amanda & Rob were wonderful in communicating over it & helping me sort it out. This was much appreciated, especially as they were abroad on holiday at the time. Also, the lady looking after the cottages on their behalf brought us butter. All very kind.

Quiet, & peaceful- lovely hideaway, but within reach of most facilities

No a dislike, but suggestion- Upper beeches- could do with a small staircase light- just so that it’s easier to find your way to kitchen, without disturbing partner . Sofa bed- despite topper, was reportedly uncomfortable. Radiator to 1st floor bedroom- not functioning? as reported by user, as cold?

Everything accomodation was clean and comfortable and the hosts was friendly when speaking to them.

In a great location. Very nicely laid out with plenty of room and very comfortable.

Stairs up to the top two rooms were very narrow and steep, but we managed okay.

The property was gorgeous. Very spacious and clean, and well equipped with kitchen appliances for home cooking. Would definitely stay again.

The rooms are really large and the whole place is nicely decorated throughout They provided a cot, stair gate and high chair for my daughter and there's children's cutlery which is a great touch. We had a great time in a lovely part of the world and would happily visit again.

A great property for accessing some of Somerset’s best attractions. Set in a very peaceful location at the end of a private road, the property is beautifully decorated and well appointed, with very spacious and comfortable bedrooms. The local pub - a five minute walk - has very friendly staff and serves good food. A perfect spot for a countryside break.
