Convenient for a wedding we were attending breakfasts were the best ever! Quality produce cooked very well. Staff lovely and efficient and so pleasant. Bed big and so comfy we both slept like a log.
The only thing that really disappointed us was that the snug , even at 8.30-9 pm was like a crèche, with little children screaming and shouting and running in and out around the bar/restaurant when they should be tucked up in bed, so unfortunately it spoiled the restaurant experience which otherwise was fantastic with great service with good food

First of all, the manager, Adam, was exceptional. We communicated via email and phone calls before we stayed, and Adam was always so friendly and helpful. We stayed for one night as we attended a party a short distance away. Our room was very cosy and warm. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. We had a couple of drinks in the bar after our party, and the staff were all really friendly and a pleasure to speak with. Our breakfast (we both had The Full Temple) was fantastic - nice and hot and very filling. The poached eggs were perfect. The lady serving our breakfast was lovely. We highly recommend The Temple Inn for the very warm welcome and friendly manager and staff, lovely room and awesome breakfast.
There was nothing not to like.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to find with adequate parking. Room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy and the towels were lovely and soft. The rooms have a separate entrance from the pub so you can come and go as needed. Breakfast was included and we had a full English which was very tasty. We had a quick lunch on arrival which was also very nice and good value. We asked for an early check in and this was accommodated. We were contacted in advance to see if we needed to book a table for any meals. The room had all the amenities we needed for 1 night and would expect from a venue of this type. There was a proper hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities, enough hanging space for clothes, basic toiletries, a TV and USB charging points.
There was nothing we didn't like. The only 'upgrades' I would suggest to improve the rooms would be a bedside light on both sides of the bed and a make-up mirror.

Lovely staff, great pub, great breakfast, clean and easy to find. Easy parking , prices at the pub very affordable. Both staff at dinner time and breakfast were so lovely.
Is not necessary didn’t like but could be better, we had twin room , we very small people , but the single beds are very small, never actually seen any single beds as small as this. Was okay for a night , as the rooms are by the road can get noisy , being cold outside we had windows closed so was okay, if you a light sleeper can be a bit noisy. A bit of mould in the bathroom toilet seat and by the shower.

A warm welcome , a small Hiccup in the restaurant booking mainly due to timing on my part, but a solution that suited me better was quickly sorted. I cannot say I have found a friendlier welcome across the whole team out of anywhere I’ve stayed. Room Was clean and functional . Bed comfy. Busy road but minimal noise. Lovely surrounding area for me to walk the dog . Breakfast was at the time I needed (7am) and the eggs Benedict was up there really really lovely thank you . Message for Adam! The dog won !
The dressing table could do with a chair that matches the height . There was a bit of noise late at night from people coming in from pub

Everything from the hosts so friendly the room we stayed in was a family room & it was beautiful very, very clean we had a evening meal in the Temple and the food is amazing the breakfast was to die for, definitely would book again if we were going to Somerset 100 % I would also like to to say thank you to the lovely kind cleaning lady who saved the day & found us a safety pin for our daughters dress she was wearing for a wedding she was going too. We also took our two little doggies and they were made to feel welcome.
N/A Nothing couldn’t rate it highly enough

Practically everything, perfect for our trips to Bath and Bristol. Even though by main road, not really noisy. Basic, but comfy room. All the staff were very attentive, super friendly, and helpful. Nothing was any trouble. Room refreshed everyday. If in that area, would definitely stay again
Maybe, just better hoovering in the room, but that's probably more my OCD! Other than that, nothing to dislike

Arrived before check-in time, depsite this I was greeted by a friendly chap & checked in with no fuss, then shown to my room. The room itself was clean & modern, with a lovely sized bathroom & super comfy bed. With it being a really warm day the addition of a tower fan in the room was a winner! We had breakfast included in our stay and I have to say this did not disappoint, being cooked to order makes all the difference. All in all a very pleasant stay 😁.
Nothing at all.

The room was comfortable although the beds where a bit narrow for me as I am 6ft 1 , the room was clean . The staff were very pleasant and made you feel more than welcome and the food was excellent , well done to the Chef and his kitchen team . Adam was very pleasant and provided everything we needed . My daughter who is a vegan and fussy eater also said she enjoyed the food also.
The bed was too narrow for me .

The hotel had good WiFi and the breakfast was very good. The staff were nice in particular the two girls serving in the bar that evening. Friendly, chatty and welcoming. Managed to get a space in the car park at rear of the building.
No major issues. Disappointed with the beer range, just one real ale and one craft beer. The rest were lager and cider. Some road noise throughout the night but not serious with the window closed.
