An absolutely stunning property, very clean and the room was spacious and then some. Very large bathroom with all of the bits one needs, plenty of space to unwind and relax. Possibly the comfiest bed I have slept in whilst away from home for a long time. The breakfast was exceptional - a proper large pot of tea, lots of butter for the lots of toast brought to you on lovely different breads. Piping hot full English with really nice ingredients. I slept so well and ate well before departing. A really wonderful place to stay - I will deffo stay again.

Paid extra for breakfast which was good and adequate, with proper china and good choice of additional cereal as well, alongside offer of more toast. Lovely house, well kept. Comfy bed. Plenty of hot water. Provision of toiletries was good. Nice big bath towels. Super location. Better value than travel lodges type accommodation. Would recommend.
Hooks in the bathroom and a hand towel. Bathroom okay for short people but would be difficult for anyone above 5’4”! Had trouble making sure main door was for b&b and not a farmhouse as nobody answered initially, and no reception area. Was told need to pull bell harder, but a bit disconcerting on arrival. A electric plug near a mirror to dry hair as it was very difficult balancing a small mirror on a settee to dry hair!

Very clean, good breakfast. Large bedroom and bathroom. Very good value for money. Friendly owner.
Bathroom was private use for our room but was in room next to bedroom. This was at top of stairs so really needed dressing gowns or robes which we didn't bring with us and weren't provided. The bath room has a frosted glass door so meant you felt a bit exposed using the facilities. This could easily be sorted by putting a roller blind on inside of door. Curtains on bathroom window were very heavy and difficult to close, again a roller blind or even net curtains would give a bit more privacy.

This was a lovely big, old farmhouse. We had a very spacious room with a comfy bed, and sofa. The TV was concealed behind wood panelling as was the bathroom - a lovely touch. Loved the bathroom layout, quirky but still very spacious. The breakfast table was beautifully laid out. Breakfast arrived very quickly and was tasty with plenty of tea, fresh coffee and orange juice.
The breakfast room was a little chilly, perhaps because we were the first to arrive, but it didn’t spoil our breakfast.

It was a very friendly place to stay. The breakfasts were delicious. The room was comfortable and quiet. Any requests were dealt with quickly. The garden was pleasant to wander around and sit in.
There were no hangers in the wardrobe. An upright chair would be helpful. Handles in the shower and around the bathroom would be useful, as wet surfaces become slippery. A net curtain or similar should be provided for privacy.

A wonderful difference to the chain-hotel standardisation. It's an old farmhouse, stone archway leading to a flag-stoned hallway. Our room was huge and despite being in February it was warm. Breakfast was wonderful especially the fried eggs (not laid out to dry as per large hotels). Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Free parking. Bed comfortable.
The bathroom could be better as it was situated in the eaves. The actual shower was, however, fine.

Our room was amazing. Huge and beautifully decorated with a high ceiling. Also a lovely iron bedframe, sofa, large ornate mirror and a quirky secret ensuite which was accessed through, what looked like, a cupboard door. The ensuite was spacious and the shower was very hot with good water pressure, also equipped with a rain shower.
Nothing, apart from the fact that it could have had better outdoor lighting both in the parking area and hotel signage. Both which were difficult to see in the dark.

Beautiful large bedroom with a quirky en suite, a very interesting property with a very kind and friendly hostess. The location was ideal for us as we were attending an event in Newton st loe. An excellent breakfast, continental for me with fresh fruit, yoghurt, croissants and sourdough toast and as much coffee as we wanted. Husbands full English also very good. Very handy for access to Bath and Bristol

Breakfast excellent - so tasty, with lovely crusty bread toast. Everything served so well old fashioned sort of feel in the very best sense of the word. Lovely comfy room. Really good shower. Nice grounds. Easy parking.
Shower room was really hot as above kitchen. I thought there was underfloor heating but it was heat from the aga below. There were no windows to open, so a cooling fan might have been nice. (The weather outside was hot. Perhaps in the winter this would have been a plus!)

Beautiful old farmhouse. Lots of character. Great position for Bath or Bristol. Friendly family, very welcoming. Huge bedroom, lovely comfortable bed. Shower ensuite. All you need for a comfortable stay. Reasonably priced for the area. Highly recommend. Have booked for another stay next month.
There wasn't anything I disliked. However if you want a modern place this is not for you.
