Room was spacious and quiet, overlooking garden area. Bed was extremely comfortable. Dinner menu was interesting and tasty. Heating was very good with sensitive radiator control. Staff were mostly very pleasant and friendly.

Parking in front of the hotel is limited and it can be awkward getting in and out. However, there is parking in the adjacent side street and the hotel was exceptionally busy with Christmas functions. Our room was on the ground floor near one of the function rooms and reception. Therefore it was rather noisy during the evening but quiet from about 10.30pm. Shower was a disappointing dribble.

Friendly welcome. Good size bedroom and bathroom. Despite being a front facing room we didn't find it noisy at all. Light, airy and comfortable. Nice breakfast, with waitress service for cooked food. The waitresses were all very polite and professional. Great to have the option to dine there during the evening and they also have gluten free options which are very good. Approximately 1.5 miles from the Curly Wurly parkrun at Somerdale Pavillion.

The bathroom was a good size however it needs a few touch ups, there's black mold around some tiles and shower base. Not a major issue but doesn't look great. Also had an issue with the bed, however this was fixed promptly whilst we were out. Parking is a little bit tight as the restaurant is used by the public.

Great location for Bristol & Bath. Poor shower facilities. Shower spray didn’t sit in situ properly. Rooms were very warm with only a small fan to circulate air. Had to turn off at night due to fan noise. Breakfast was excellent apart from the tea which was only lukewarm. Entrance to property after 12 midday was tricky using the keypad system. Took numerous attempts to operate and get keypad availability.

I wasn't able to park in the car park and had to park further up the road, and because of having to self check-in with the key-press and it being dark and raining, it was a bit of an uncomfortable arrival. (I realise they couldn't help the rain!). The arrangement of the room meant squeezing past the bedside table to draw the curtains and plug in my laptop and phone charger. But overall I'm not complaining, everything else was very good and I'd be happy to stay in the same room again.

The hotel was very clean and our room was comfortable, although basic. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. There were plenty of options for breakfast and the cooked breakfast was very good.

The only issue was with our bathroom. The fan stayed on (after turning off the switch incorporated with the light) for around 15 minutes which was a problem during the night. The shower pressure seemed low and the shower head was very small which meant that it took a while to get showered.

I had lunch and breakfast here which were both very nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable. It was very hot at the time but a fan had been provided

I arrived back quite late but couldn't access the room where the fresh milk is kept. When I looked in the morning for the fresh milk, I couldn't see any available. It's a very nice idea having fresh milk for tea etc but needs to be more easily available

Quite inflexible regarding breakfast, as a group of us had booked because of its location to the park run we were running on the Saturday, resulting in none of us having breakfast or monetary equivalent brunch there and all going somewhere else to eat after the run. Also the bar closing at 10 pm seemed a little bit early.

Convenient location for our travel purposes. Easy parking. Clean and welcoming. The restaurant menu looks good although we didn't get to try the food.

Our ground floor room was noisy due to surrounding restaurant and kitchen area. Bathroom floor very cold despite radiators. A pair of bathroom slippers could help alleviate this problem. Basin push button taps are not practical as the water does not run long enough to wash hands properly.

The room was lovely and spacious and very comfortable. The dining room where we had breakfast was lovely and the food was delicious.

The parking was limited and we were told quite bluntly that they had a function and the car park would have spaces later. The car park was full throughout our stay and we had to park quite a long way up the road, not ideal . Not knowing the area at all this was quite difficult.

The room was large and warm. Breakfasts povided, and were of excellent quality. Beds comfortable. Nice to have an area for working away from the room. Spacious bathroom and great shower. Close to a neighborhood pub with good quality pub food

Decor tired although functional. Cleanliness standard definitely needs improvement. Reception staff seemed stressed and distracted.
