Well located within walking distance of key attractions, spacious and clean room, with comfortable bed. Very nice linens and towels. Great roof top view! Staff were very helpful and cheerful.

The pillows were awful (too flat) and the TV didn’t work. We were on the top floor, 3 very tall flights of stairs and the doorway into our room was very low, anyone over 5’10” would risk hitting their head. The old windows rattled continually through the night due to winds.

We love the room we felt like royalty. The room we had was beautiful, spaces, lovely deco and comfortable bed. We love the location and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely go back again and recommend the hotel to our friends and family..

Location is great, welcome was friendly and we were allowed to check in early.

Booked quite some time in advance so was a shame we were allocated a third floor room with no view. Guess that was because we booked by booking.com. Toilet cistern was letting by the entire time, problem with the coffee machine that took a while to rectify. It was very hot in the room, the bathroom was looking a bit tired around the edges. I am fit and able but it would have been nice to have been offered assistance to the third floor with our case checking in. Assistance was offered when we were checking out and had our cases with us at the main entrance though.

We were upgraded to lovely room (Beaufort) when we arrived, which was unexpected. The room was stunning, beautiful large windows, high ceilings, an area with sofa and dressing table and lovely and bright. Clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is ordered form a menu. We choose the full breakfast, small amount but more that enough without being greedy and given the option to order more toast and tea/coffee. Staff were exceptionally polite and welcoming. We parked at the Bird hotel for £15 per night, only a few minutes walk around the corner. It was great to have to worry about parking. Overall a fantastic hotel that I would definitely recommend and stay in again

Nothing only apart from the bathroom being a little too warm therefore had to prop the doors open leading to bedroom/seating area. Apart from that it was perfect.

You do get what you pay for, but this is exceptional. A truly gorgeous suite in a Georgian townhouse in the centre of Bath. Supplied with everything you could wish for, very attentive staff and an excellent breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble and you're made to feel very welcome. I'd describe it as the friendliness of a B&B with the facilities of a 5* hotel. They were even able to arrange some extras as a surprise for my fiancee on our 'anniversary'. I love Bath and being only a stones-throw from the centre was great. We paid the extra (which was worth it) but they have more affordable rooms too.

Having to leave! Apart from that, parking might be an issue if you're driving, but why would you drive into Bath - you'd be crazy!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was decent size. Close to town and restaurants. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was quite good. A very nice stay if you enjoy a vintage building. Great location.

3rd story room and no lift. No A/C & room was uncomfortably warm from afternoon till evening. Windows were open for ventilation, and one night, there was a loud argument outside very late and street noise. Room was labeled as King bed, but British king beds are at least a foot narrower than American Kings. My mistake. Bed and bedding were clean and comfortable. No refrigerator.

Great location in the heart of Bath, a stone's throw from the centre. Good service all round with nothing too much trouble for a very pleasant team. Luggage was taken to my room. A broad number of breakfast options were available to suit all tastes and travelling with my dog was not an issue as a separate room is reserved to cater to those travelling with their pets. Beautiful, traditional decor did not disappoint and was very comfortable.

Parking is always an issue in Bath City centre, so this is perhaps a little unfair, but the hotel does not provide permits for the local zone. Whilst free parking is available at the sister hotel, this is a little bit of a walk.

My wife and I had a lovely couple of nights at Dukes: - Great location for wandering into the city centre - Really friendly staff who carried our bags up the two floors of stairs (no lift) - The decoration was tasteful and generally in good condition - The weather was freezing, but the hotel was lovely and warm - It was my wife's birthday and we were greeted in our room with a balloon and card - The bed was very comfortable - The shower was powerful and the toiletries were really nice - The breakfast was great - The bar in the lounge was minimalist, but had what we wanted and cost was fair A really good experience. Thank you.

Nothing.

The location is excellent, and the fact that Dukes hotel offers parking is ideal.

I would have liked a mirror on the table in our bedroom, as the light in the bathroom was terrible, and there was nowhere to put one's washbag. I ended up moving the wall mirror to the table as I needed better light. I also noticed there was no hair dryer, but maybe I missed it. The windows rattle badly! They need to put more wedges in the room so you can minimise the rattle. But nothing a pair of ear plugs wont sort out.

Location was great, parking at the dukes sister hotel, the bird. 5 minute walk. Lovely regency building, decorated well. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the fire in reception with a little Baileys. The room used for breakfast was lovely and the breakfast was really good. I had pancakes with Greek yogurt, berry compote and maple syrup. The staff were very polite and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Lovely Xmas decorations.

Climbing 2 flights of stairs to our room as my partner is in his 70s but this couldn’t be helped. The bed had a wooden frame, the mattress and pillows were not comfortable.
