We stayed at Toghill House Farm on the last night of our 10-day walk on the Cotswold Way. Our room was cosy & comfortable and we had our dinner delivered via UberEats. After a great night's sleep, we enjoyed our delicious full English breakfast on the dining porch. If staying here as a stop on the Cotswold Way hike, we highly recommend having an Uber pick you up near the trail and dropping you off at Toghill House (rather than walking straight there from the trail). We decided to walk and while some of the views were lovely, it also involved multiple crossings over very busy roads, which we did not enjoy. The next morning, we easily arranged for an Uber to drop us off at the trail to begin our last day of hiking!

The Toghill house feels like it's out of a Tolkien novel. The room itself is lovely, (just mind your head if you're on the tall side - like myself). The breakfast was incredible and they do vegetarian options for the full English Breakfast as well. The room is lovely, with cute little windows that look out over that farm. There is a lovely tub so take advantage of that as well.

If you're on the taller side - the ceilings are a bit low, so just look out for that. But other than that it is an incredible stay and has everything you may need.

Fantastic mix of rustic charm and modern facilities and service. An element of self-check-in-and-site-discovery was no bad idea for guests arriving outside of regular business hours. The room(s) are clean, well decorated and have very comfy beds and good washrooms. The owners balance the guest accommodation and the smallholding/farming side very well and clearly take an interest in being good hosts. Breakfast was excellent, fresh ingredients and cooked to order. Location has great views, is away from main routes so relatively quiet and secure.

Telly could be a little bigger, but at least all the channels worked!

Our room was quite comfortable after having walked all day on the Cotswolds Way. Key was left at the front door as was expected. We were able to sit outside for a bit and relax in the sunshine. Breakfast was delicious and delivered promptly by a pleasant server.

Walking in on the Cotswolds Way, it was a bit difficult to find, despite the directions and map Laura sent. Luckily, a passerby knew exactly where we were heading and steered us in the right direction. For walkers: you have to cross a VERY busy road TWICE right before arriving at the Toghill!

Great location. Clean and comfortable. Several other guests, like us, were walking the Cotswold Way. Good to have a bath. Views from our room were great. Tip: the Faresaver no. 35 bus goes from Cold Ashton to Wick. The no.620 Stagecoach bus goes from Old Sodbury to Bath, calling at Wick

Not essential, but would have been nice to meet our host, at least briefly. It rained a lot on day 1 so we got very wet. An area to hang wet, muddy clothes would have been helpful. Just some hooks in the laundry area maybe?

Beautiful property, cosy room - lovely and warm with controllable heater, plenty of hot water, comfy beds, ample tea/coffee and biccies. Great breakfast with self service fruit/yoghurt/cereal and a full English. Perfect location for an event at Lansdown Racetrack.

Can't think of anything to improve. Worth noting it's an exposed spot so outside was quite breezy (it's on Freezinghill Lane!) so be prepared for a potential arctic blast when you get out of the car, but once you're inside you'd never know.

The room was lovely overlooking the sheep and chickens. The bed was really comfortable. There was plenty of tea coffee and biscuits in the room along with mini toiletries in the bathroom. The welcome was warm and friendly and the breakfast was very tasty. We also loved how close it was to the wedding we were attending. The recommendations for local pubs with amazing food were spot on.

Beautiful house and outbuildings with lots of character. The staff were very obliging and helpful catering for a GF diet and altering the times of breakfast to suit our arrangements. The breakfast was very good and served hot by a delightful young lady.

The room was on the small side with only the bed or chairs to place your bags on to unpack. The duvet could also have been a tad larger.

Toghill House Farm is a stunning countryside hotel that offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home with their polite and friendly service. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, setting the perfect tone for a day of exploring. The location is also fantastic, with easy access to the famous attractions of Bath. Highly recommend this charming place for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Lovely, quiet B&B on a working farm with horses and chickens. Staff are very friendly and helpful, my room was comfortable and well appointed. Comes with a full English breakfast.

I was walking the Cotswold Way and didn’t have a car, so getting into the nearest town for dinner was challenging, but Laurie was very helpful recommending a place and helping make sure I could order a ride.
