Fabulous hotel, really enjoyed our one night there. Staff were exceptional throughout, really helpful and friendly. My friend is gluten free and they were incredibly helpful in making sure she had options during dinner and at breakfast. The room was spacious with comfy beds and plenty of amenities provided. Shower was fantastic. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant which was lovely fresh food and we had a drink in the bar afterwards which was very cosy and drinks provided by another lovely member of staff. There was a huge range at breakfast both buffet and a la carte which was delicious and really filling. Hotels with car parking are in fairly short supply in Bath so this was a great location not far from the city centre.

The staff where so welcoming from the moment we stepped through the front door, even showing us to out accommodation block and advising of the hotel facilities, breakfast times, Gym etc along the way. Our room was brilliant, clean, exceptionally well designed with everything you could possibly want, please of mirrors and sockets for my wife, sockets with UBS ports, Tea / Coffee making facilities, water and milk in the fridge, plenty of storage, space both in the room and bathroom. The breakfast was brilliant, amazing selection and the staff could not do enough for you. We would definitely staff here again.
Hotel was not walkable to Bath but that's a minor thing especially when you have a car.

Only problem was we wanted to pay our restaurant bill on check out, but receptionist couldn't find it, so said to leave it.The restaurant manager then foned us on our way home on the motorway and said they had charged it to the wrong table and could we pay it there and then!! I said my daughter wanted to pay it but was driving at that moment so we would do it later when we got home, which we did. The gratuity payment was deducted as a gesture of good wilI, but I was concerned at that because it might mean that staff wouldn't get their dues. Was not very nice experience. However, couldn't fault the hotel and staff. It was all excellent and would not hesitate to return.

The staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn't do enough. Especially Dianne(I think) and Gems. The young lady that works in F&B was also exceptional! The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful in Beau Nash. (We are about to redo ours and will be modelling it on this one) The food and selection at breakfast was exceptional and even the hot buffet was fresh and not too much was cooked so constantly replenished. We had room service on the first night and the food was great (burger and fish & chips) we ate in the restaurant on our last night and we're both very impressed with the food. It was a lot better than we expected. We had the Beetroot cured salmon which was a very well balanced dish and Ragu to start also a well balanced dish and surprisingly large portions. For mains we had the beef cheek which was exceptional and the pork also exceptional all fantastic dishes and the service was also fantastic at just the right level of attentiveness.
The only problem was it was a little warm on the first night as the radiator was on full and the AC didn't work. That was literally the only problem.

It was a great experience from start to finish. The staff all took the time to be helpful and friendly. The room had everything we needed in it, looked fairly recently decorated and was much bigger than expected. There were a lot of options for breakfast, including a buffet and a menu with options to order. It really felt like they were trying to treat you well and include plenty in the price without skimping. I felt very well looked after. It felt like great value for money. It's also handily near a bus stop, which is great, because parking in central Bath makes parking in London look fantastic value for money!
The rooms that aren't in the main house are in a modern wing built in a sprawling and confusing design. Finding your way to breakfast or the exit or the lift isn't easy. I think a map of the wing with a you-are-here dot hung at the corners of each floor of the wing would have been helpful. Also, this is no reflection on the hotel, but if you haven't been on a bus in Bath lately, it'd probably pay to ask reception about how the payment system works. It seems not to be like London where you just tap your card and get charged a fixed price.

Warm welcome from reception. Spacious room, 2 arm chairs next to a small table, warm in cold weather. Small fridge with real milk we enjoyed with our teas. High quality bedding. Wardrobe with loose hangers. so much easier to use than those ones where they don't trust the guests and you can only remove part of the hanger then have to slot it back into the hook. Elegant building. Lifts to bedroom floors.
Weird design of bathroom. Towel radiator is above the toilet and there are no hooks or bars where you can put towels nearer the sink. Access to the towels is awkward and you feel you might drop them in the toilet in the process.

The room was lovely and clean, slippers and robes provided. The tea selection was good and we appreciated the mini fridge with real bottles of milk. The breakfast was delicious, the buffet cooked breakfast as well as the continental option and the menu items were all delicious and plentiful. The location for exploring Bath is superb, with a bus stop at the bottom of the drive (opposite side of the road to get into the centre) which took approx 15 mins to get to the city. Our evening meal in The Conservatory was lovely and relaxed, with a great wine list. Easy to get to the hotel from the motorway, and the staff were super helpful being that there was a half marathon blocking the town the following morning. For the price, our stay was great and we felt truly refreshed after our comfortable sleep.
The veggie sausages at breakfast were like dry cardboard, that is my only reservation about the meals we ate. The shower also steamed up the bathroom so much that there was water dripping everywhere, including from the ceiling which made everything very wet!

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We had a quiet, comfortable, well lit and clean room in the newer annex of the hotel,, which also housed the breakfast restaurant, with plenty of choice. The cloister restaurant meals were outstanding with great service, so we had no objection to the service charge on the bill. My intolerance to onion and garlic was catered for with care but without fuss. Driving and parking in Bath must be a nightmare so it was great to be able to park at the hotel and use the frequent buses stopping at the bottom of the hotel drive to go to and from the city. The stop was even called Bailbrook, so no difficulty getting the right bus back again. We would definitely choose to stay at Bailbrook House again.
The short distance from the annex to the main building was OK until we had a downpour just as we were going to dinner. The umbrella stand at our end was empty - but the next day the lady at reception said that they had put in an order for more umbrellas - so let's hope they are enough!

The grounds were stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere was truly relaxing. The room was spacious, clean, and dog-friendly, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Our room was located near the grounds to make it easier for us to take the dog out. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide range of options. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. There are several dining options within a short distance or there is a restaurant located on site! The hotel is conveniently located just a 15-minute drive from the heart of Bath. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, offering great value for money. We will definitely be back!

The hotel and surrounding were lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, I would definitely go back if I was visiting Bath again. The location is good, a 2 mile walk into the centre of Bath, mainly downhill. We walked to first day and caught a bus the second, returning by taxi as it’s a long uphill drive and mt friend has breathing problems. Breakfast was good with an excellent choice of alternatives to full cooked and they were cooked to order. I’m not a big fan of buffet.
I didn’t like having to go outside from the main hose to the modern building. It was fine as the weather was good, but in the rain, or winter, that would really put me off. We ate in the conservatory and the meal left us underwhelmed and had to pay for vegetables and potatoes on top as non were included with the Chicken Milanese. The seafood linguine wasn’t exactly overflowing with seafood either. Disappointed as I’m happy to pay for something a bit special and this definitely wasn’t.
